If you think this is a V vs V argument then I think we obviously lynch Verb in this scenario.

He just used his power and we don't know what Pizza might have.

Do you have anything else?

I was just giving my thoughts on the situation yates. I would like to hear from pizza.

yates do you think this is a V vs V battle. It seems you started up the train on verb from sili. I think I read later you didn't think he was scum. (correct me if I am wrong)

I understand wanting to get reactions from people, but if you thought him town why not state so earlier instead of forcing him into this situation.

I hope he *DOES* claim VT. That wouldn't mean he wasn't a PR.

Verb is a known quantity. Pizza is not. And before we go too far down this rabbit hole, Pizza is a Champion level player [as well]. While he has yet to be super involved in this game, I have no doubts that if/when he is allowed the opportunity to he will game solve at an elite level.

Not true. As I stated earlier; this is multiball. Regardless of his alignment he still has to find scum. So it doesn't matter to me.

Find scum and wreck town, it's two fold. Saying it doesn't matter to you is weird, man. I'm starting to think you just want to keep Pizza around because you like him, which is cool and all, but not really pertinent to the game.

I'm not assuming. I do have some reason to believe though, and I am certainly more comfortable with him at this point than I am with Pizza.

I think it's pretty clear I'm comfortable with Verb. His wavering on me is not scummy. I don't know Pizza and I really don't have the best handle on him. I'm waiting to see what he says when he gets here.

You picked literally the one person I know like nothin about. A DMer would've made more sense on the premise that Most of us could've made a better call.

That being said I will likely vote new guy simply on my town read of Verb.

I certainly don't like Verb. I think that much is clear. I've never liked that guy. He refuses to make important posts sticky.

Seriously, this has nothing to do with liking people/not liking people on a personal level. This is a game and I'm treating it like a game. If this is a simple game of High/Low? Verb is holding a 6 of Clubs. That 6 of clubs is based on his claim and his game play. I don't know what Pizza is holding. I'm guessing it's higher than a 6, though.

If Pizza doesn't come in here and make an impressive Town post? I'm fine with lynching him. But one thing he should not need to do in order to avoid this lynch is be forced to claim. That's foolish.

Okay. I'm not sure why you'd assume that though.

Pizza strikes me as someone who can make impressive 'Town' posts as either alignment. I'm reading through his ISO now and trying to decide how I feel about some of his more lengthy theoretical type posts. And I agree that he shouldn't be forced to claim to save himself, but in all reality, it's VERY likely that is what it is going to have to be considering we have to pick one or the other.

First off, I have yates 2.0 currently as town. I actually was asking because I think it is important.

this is yates 2.0 low villagerying - he casted suspicion on someone he thought was town since yates 1.0. including his own vote, he got 3 people to follow him, which then escalated into what we have now.

My question is if you thought he was town, why not lay off sooner. especially if its v vs v because that isn't helping here. now we have 1 claim, town or not. I believe verb is, and I have to decide between two people who I don't want to lynch. So yes I think you created a very bad situation here.

this play style on yates 2.0 need to stop.

I get that you can change your mind. What I don´t get is that you said that you never called her mafia to me, when you in fact said she was on a mafia team. You said that you hadn´t any strong feelings of her when you have called her both town and on a mafia team.

And what I´m getting at is that it didn´t look like you were convinced of AJ or Yates being mafia but still called them w/w.

Of course I'm not convinced! I'm not a Cop. I thought they might have been w/w. Obviously that was wrong. Do I still think AJ is? Gun to head yesterday, yes. Gun to head this morning, yes. Re-reading all the stuff I have......I'm less sure. If my life depended on it, then yes I'd lynch him. But it currently doesn't, and he's making good posts recently. I have him as potential scum more from POE than an actual case.

This is a good question, actually. Now that I've thought on it.......I actually think I made the right decision. I'm sticking with my scum read on Pizza. Picking another would have been an easier way to ensure I live, but not necessarily the correct choice. This will be a close thing.

You should never have posted this. How do you know whether Pizza or I will be "on our games" later on and solving at an elite level? Same would go for you here. All 3 of us have played in the Champ games.

This is an incredibly subjective post, and I really dislike how it could be seen to influence people's decision.

Another subjective post that should have stayed in your head. I did not want to be an obvious NK target - that part is by design. You can check my Champ game to see how I played that as the Cop and how it turned out (Hint: pretty damn well).

Pizza and Laine definitely look the worst for their involvement on the wagon.

I don't think Verb made a bad choice selecting who he did for a snap decision, I can see Pizza being a wolf here after reading him again. The biggest thing I'm having trouble getting over now is the way he sort of discouraged voting activity early on when he avoided voting onto a one-vote wagon in Zander and posted that long story about 'runaway' wagons. Seems overblown to me looking at it again. I could see this as crowd control by essentially scaring people into voting in the fear said 'runaway' train would start. Low voting activity typically isn't good for villages. This dynamic is multiplied in hybrid games where low tallies allow for more wagon manipulation towards EOD.

On the other hand, obviously the activation of the role doesn't MAKE him town, but I think his choice in whom to thunder dome probably points more towards it than him being scum.

Consider this my soapbox: this is why dead players should not replace back in. I can understand this being an active game and the mods not having much choice - I certainly don't fault them in this at all. But you make it worse when you effectively carry a grudge back into the game and take it out on the players.

For the record, everything you said in the second half of your post is correct. I'll back you on that. But you can't deny that you're still upset at being lynched and you're now taking it out on the rest of us.

I have yates 2.0 town from before he decided to just lol town.
when you first came back in the game, and the way you confronted sili in particular was from a town mindset. He made a variety of bad plays, yet even though still fuming, you had the sense to clear him right there. I know you wouldn't just change your views if you came back scum. It is the way you came back in. I believed every word of it.
