I don't think we broke the record but if I am not mistaken this is one of the largest games ever on DM.

the game I'm working on is going to be big, but then you already know that.

I do want to go ahead and clarify this.

 

Krak was modkilled because I couldn't find another replacement and because asking someone else to replace in would be unfair to them.  He got too busy, something that happens to all of us.

 

Sili was modkilled because he edited a post.  That post contained information about another game and he told Clov what he was going to do but not me.  Unfortunately I had to carry out the MK because rules are rules but I don't think it looks a bit worse on him, it's a natural thing to do.

 

Pizza was similarly trying to make a play for the benefit of his team that manipulated the mechanics of the game in a way I personally consider outside the spirit of the game.  Some moderators may disagree with me and he has fought valiantly since then to advocate for his team.  I do not believe whatsoever that he intended it to be seen in the way that I took it or that he would remotely intentionally jeopardize the integrity of a game that he clearly loves so much.  I do not hold him or the others at any fault and I believe that had circumstances been different than they were that these modkills might not have happened.  

 

As such I ask all of you who have played, read or watched this game to not hold any ill will, grudges or negativity to those players relative to these modkills.  I hold each of these players in high esteem and don't remotely think that any of them believed that they were operating in error.

Hah Alannalynn, watching both teams constantly contemplate NKing one another only to choose a townie was so rough.

 

Oh and I'd love to hear other mods thoughts on the balance etc.

I liked the set up Darthe. The game could've played out in a lot of different ways, I think we're just fortunate it played out in ours :tongue:

 

I'm very happy with this game, I think it was a good one for DM as a community. We had a large sample of the home crowd, both new and old, and some fun newcomers from other places. I'm glad we could all come together and make it happen. Thanks to everyone who was involved in some form or fashion; whether playing, modding, watching or mentoring.

 

Mafia is a team game and I'm very proud of my partners and I am glad that we won. Great job wolves :hopper:

EP: You would have thought me scum regardless.

 

I think I'm going to have to do a spammy entry in all games I play now, it seems that was the only thing people could say about me this game? Kept me off the lynch list though, so I'm good. haha

 

I think if the town would have been able to use some more of their powers, it would have been a lot harder for us. But I'm proud of our team for sticking it out and surviving together

The 2 big ones I was wrong on were the ones that mattered. AJ and Pizza....

not true. I recall always being able to read you decently. Your big slip was overselling an incident you weren't even in the game for.
