@ sooh He was calling me out as that. He later says he chalked it up to being new.

I know that, but at the time he was voting you he was giving Zander passes for being new, while still keeping pressure on you.

i've re-read a bit, and i think our wolves can be found in this group: AJ, John Snow, Notbob and Nolder. That's my D1 impression. willing to vote any of those. If i don't make sense, i blame my meds. This is based on a few things i pointed out in my notes and on my D1 gut. 

 

i'll be around, as good as i can be, for the next few hours.

After re reading ithi, I noticed some points she made about eldrick I liked. I tried to view it without the posts of me in there, and I do see where Dice is coming from on his read.

turin- I am not sure after my re read, I can see him going either way. 
aj- I see ithi's point here, but I feel like he explained everything really well, I have to reason not to have him as a town read. 

I think all three here need to live to day 2.

2. Nolder-Useless posts. Has hardly been in the game.

The second part is fair enough.

The first part though is just an opinion. I could say the same about you or anyone if I wanted to.

Can you give some context to this? What ratio of useful to useless posts do you think I have?

Are they purposely useless like scum trying to post filler or just regular banter?

Is it possible that they're just regular posts but you personally do not find them useful?

 

This is the kind of throwaway statement scum like to make about people imo and I don't like it.

Don't like the game Ithi and Turin are playing with each other. Find it distracting.

 

AJ seems a little more laid back this game than the last time with crossed paths fwiw.

 

Looks like Notbob has been quiet as well which is normal for him early game so that's not a warning sign yet.

 

I see Turin opposed lynching inactives. Makes me wonder if maybe one of his teammates was inactive?

Also noticed that he dodged the question about whether it was just Notbob or all inactives he was against lynching and then when called on it said he'd lynch me for irony.

I appreciate the irony and wouldn't have been upset had that happened but I will note that he stood in the way of Notbob's lynch for inactivity but seemed ok with mine so maybe there is something there after all. To be fair though he chose John Snow over me although I think the relevant part here is Notbob.

 

Thane seems to be going with the flow to me which I don't really like. Maybe it's just me but nothing he's saying really stands out to me as townie who's trying to find scum.

 

Ithi strikes me as legitimately frustrated town.

 

Seph looks like he's trying hard. That's basically a null tell but I like the effort and recommend keeping him around for a couple days at least.

Nolder, you sound like you are sure NotBob is mafia. Your attempt to.link me to him is stinky. Your facts are wrong too. I stated clearly that I was opposed to lynching inactive players in General. I only added the part about snow because I felt there was a possible reason to lynch him outside of his activity level. The thing about you was a pure joke as your stance is to lynch inactive players on principle.

 

 

Also doesn't.make sense since you are trying to imply that NotBob is my teammate but you have him as at worst null.

 

Don't like Ithi and Turin... Too bad.

Please explain how you came to the conclusion that Nolder is suggesting this.

 

Bold: Nolder say NotBob is quiet but that is okay. I interpreted this as Nolder having a null to town read on NotBob.

underlined: Nolder says that I am opposed to lynching inactive players(I am). But goes on to say it mat be because one of my teammates(his words) is inactive.

italics: Nolder goes on to say that I ducked the question about lynching inactives(I didn't). Further saying that I was in effect opposed to lynching NotBob for inactivity because he was my teammate. But I would be okay with lynching him( a joke because he always advocates lynching inactives) or Snow. I believe I clearly stated that from the given lust of inactives I would prefer to lynch Snow because his limited content seemed the worst to me.

 

It is my contention that Nolder either read poorly or purposely made it seem like I was trying to prevent NotBob from being lynched. That was a complete misrep.

 

If there was a misrep I'm laying it at your feet. As I said before you made the situation very muddled by being against No Lynch but then saying if you had to choose someone it would be John Snow. Again, the implication there is that you'd be choosing John for activity reasons even if you didn't mean it that way. And the joke about lynching me for activity only confused the matter further.

The more I look back at Eldrick's posts the less I like them or can make sense of them.

 

His whole basis for town reading Ithi and Turin is that they are pushing the game forward. He actually stated that was why the weren't null. When Seph points out others have also pushed the game, such as myself, Eldrick agrees but maintains his scum lean - which i might add the reasoning his gave in list was purely "Ithi has good points"

Honestly, I was at work and skimming. I thought I read Eldrick. The fact that it was you was just ironic. 

It's a game. I make jokes. The point is to have fun. Otherwise, people get heated and personal and no one likes that. Well, except the guys over on JN. 

 

Going back to do a full rehash of my case on you now. 

 

I apologize about the following AJ thing. I wasn't sure, hence why I asked someone to check for me.

I just want to point out for the uninitiated that 99% of what people think is heated and personal on JN actually isn't.

Although they do tend to haze new guys so if you go over there for the first time they usually rag on you more than anyone else to see if you can take a few jokes or not.

While seph is my strongest candidate, it is highly unlikely he'll be lynched today. I'm going to move my vote, so it doesn't go to waste, being i probably won't be on again before the deadline.

 

AJ is high on my suspect list, and has 2 votes. Seems like the smartest choice.

Interesting choice.

Usually people will vote their highest candidate regardless of who everyone else is voting.

This could be distancing or it could be an honest attempt at compromise with the town.

Time will tell but I think it's important to note this for later.

 

Also ftr I think Seph is town so I'm confused why he's your strongest candidate.

John Snow  - it's official. I can't read you yet. I know you have cased Seph heavily since then, but when you first voted him because he was in your mind doing stuff that was anti-town or OMGUS - why did you give Zander a newbie pass on the VT claim, but not a newbie pass for Seph sounding OMGUS?

Nolder - There's not much from you yet, but you sounded like you thought Thane, Turin and NotBob were the most suspicious here. Was this the basis for your Turin vote, or are there other things you have seen that made you vote him too?

Yes it was. The thing about not lynching inactives and then lynching John Snow or me but then it was just a joke etc etc etc. And it's only piled on more from there. Like I voted Turin right after making this post and shortly after I'm his #1 suspect. I find that blatantly scummy.

That's not technically true, although I would say we want to avoid a No Lynch at all costs.

 

The reason I say it's not technically true is because not only do we have this entire day to build off of if someone is night killed (you can go back and see their interactions with others) we should also hopefully get a cop or tracker/watcher investigations. Which granted wont be info the whole town has right away but it's something.

If we don't reach a lynch, the cop gets 1 view, the doctor gets a 10% chance probably less of guessing right, depending on there views. And I feel like the town is repeating day one, with the same old, that has been mentioned here already.

So what happens if the cop/doctor is killed then? this puts the town at a major disadvantage. yes we have the night kill read, but what if they just kill someone with hardly any content. I do not like that idea at all.
