Right. I have read generally to here. I understand the case against Tress, but don't know her usual play well enough to feel strongly either way. HHere my holding out on vote.

 

AJ and Thane are still screaming sus to me. Next move is to single out the reasons why.

 

I still feel super wary about everyone else, especially for SK. Rags still too quiet, Dice more active but why so late in game? Same with Halli. Pral's a little better but sill need to check out everything from the start.

 

Darthe, Deslami and Nyn working hard and on the face of it seem sound.

The more often you bring me up in a negative manner the sooner you are going to draw my ire. You are ignoring significant pieces of the thread that should lead you to certain conclusions but you are clearly missing or choosing to disregard them and I can't decide why. The fact that you continue down this sort of path attempting to link me to Kivam despite what thread evidence should tell you is not a good look. If anything *YOU* are more closely connected to Kivam than I am for how you treated each other.

 

I also dislike how you seem to be open to keeping everyone as a suspect. It gives you options to move your vote around if need be depending on the direction the thread takes.

Analysis:  Without going back and fully re-reading, the people I feel most likely to be the last mafia would be potentially Thane, Nyn or Cass.  Top townies are Hally, AJ, Dice.   Pral I give townie points for unvoting me when he did after analyzing Yates' posts - I don't expect him to back off of me if he's scum for a reason like that.  I could be way off base, but it's a slight town lean nonetheless.  Rags and DesLami are question marks/mixed for me ATM.

 

Re: Thane, I can't decide whether Hally's point that Yates and Krak both tried to defend him D1 means he is more likely to be a teammate, or it was a group effort at white knighting.  If the intent was to look better in the event of a D1 mislynch, I can see Nyn's careful neutrality as possibly being a counter position to the other two more overtly defending.   Or I could be completely off on both of them.   I've done a crapload of skimming and my thread recall is terrible at the moment.

Ahh, yes.

 

Over the weekend I started feeling less good about DesLami (I did post on Saturday when I was about 4 pages into my re-read)... part of it was because Des kinda about faced on DPR after tunneling him D1, and I had thought his point about the great "Seer Cover Misrep" was a pretty darn good one and didn't understand why he dropped it.  (Incidentally, if that was an example of DPR making a terrible case to see who followed it, at least that's one thing I didn't screw up.)  When I realized that Salami was the first person to explain Yates' claim as Seer Cover, though, I started thinking that wasn't such a huge deal of a misrep after all, and started considering them as potential scum and DPR as less scummy.  

 

I was shooting from the hip, trying to give a few quick thoughts, and feeling pretty wretched when I threw the "best guess for SK" out there, so it might not make the most sense of anything I've ever said.  Salami's early day statement about the town vigilantes being named townies at this point just didn't sit well with me - my pointing it out certainly ruffled feathers, heh.  It wasn't intended to be a role fish in the least, in fact I was looking at Salami's post as more of a subtle attempt to fish out who the vigilantes were, and figuring the last mafia or the SK would have a great interest in taking out the vigilantes ASAP.  Again, I have been known to say incredibly stupid things in game that make sense to me at the time (see Mish's Hunger Games in which I asked BG flat out if he was vanilla town, for a reason that made sense in my head).

Low activity is relative, isn't it?  My activity level generally depends on what's going on with me, and what's going on in the game.  Bearing in mind that this game has been mostly because I'm feeling craptastic, Spaceballs in Thak is probably the most relevant because that's also while I've been feeling crappy.  

 

 Clash of the Ancients I had 48 posts over the course of the whole game, which of course doesn't even come close to the overall activity level of this game, but I did live to the end.  I was also sick during part of it, but it was a different kind of sick that didn't quite sap my brain power as much.

@Dice - Des coming out guns blazing at daystart to say stupid things is not a scumtell. I disagree on the vigs claiming being a good idea and said so: not to make us look better but to make sure people don't take that advice

 

@Tress - I still have no idea whatsoever what you meant by "you know who I'm not'. Also, why does pointing out mechanical stuff like the named townies make you feel iffy?

Yea I wanted to check spaceballs but I have no access to Thak. Hiding games from public (ones I participated in) makes me feel frustrated BTW.

Because, darlin', it's an open setup, and the town vigilantes are even night and odd night.  You mixed them up with the mafia vig roles apparently, which were N1 and N2.  The town vigs AREN'T just named townies at this point.  It looked to me (and maybe it was just my fuzzy brain making no sense, who knows) like you were fishing for them to speak up since they allegedly didn't have any more shots.

 

Maybe it makes no sense that I found that suspicious.  Maybe it makes no sense that I mentioned it at all.  I'm off my game for sure, which is why I'm not trying to change anyone's mind about today's lynch.
