I strongly suspect a Leelou/Verbal scum team, at this point. Along with Hallia and one other person (could be Clov, not as sure on him).

Nyn has said that if Leelou rolled scum this game, she would probably not be able to hide her annoyance ITT. I think that's why she's not posting much (and when I say not posting much, I don't mean the number of frequency of her posts, because I believe that she's been busy at work and can't get online so much - but it's the content of her posts. She's mostly socially interacting with other players or putting in one-line comments on the game here and there). I can see Verb backing her up on this, too, and he has subtly done so ITT - whenever someone brings up suspicion on her, he's just said that he needs to see more from her/see her interact with other players more.

It's sort of a gut feeling, but it's a strong gut feeling just brought on by the little Verb and Leelou have said about each other.

Also, the Wombat kill. I said at the start of Day 2 that he was probably killed because he's a strong player who was mostly being townread by then. Tommy, though, said this:

Was Wombat going after anyone hard? That seems like a tough kill to make over me or AJ. I'll look when I get home.

Puppets should be temp banned from joining games. He disrespects the efforts of everyone by effectively creating an empty slot.

Bold is mine. I still think I'm right over why Wombat was killed, and I think there are certain players in this game who would think that way, more than others. Leelou and Verb especially are among those certain players.

That's a good point.

Hi AJ.

I am so pissed off right now. I sent a watch I got about a year ago to Alchemy Gothic, the company that makes it in England. It had a crack that was getting worse and since it's made of some English alloy.... no jewler around here would touch it. Basically if it's not gold or silver, they just turn you down as far as repairs go.

They supposedly fixed it and sent it back like a month and a half ago.... it got in today. Still cracked... and the watch is straight instead of round.... since it's completely made of un-bendy metal it has to be round to circle my wrist. So basically it's unwearable. Looks like someone basically stumped it to death. So it actually came back 10 times worse than how it was when I sent it in for repair. And when I tried to bend it a bit so I could maybe at least wear it, it created a second crack.

I feel like punching someone.

I really don't have a ton of new stuff to add.

I'm not sure I agree with Verb being a wolf (yet) simply because I think some of the points he's made were fair but he's still far outside of my village circle.

I think at this point it's more POE than anything. It's how Cory goes about it and it's a valid approach. I usually don't go about it this way because usually I get a wolfie or two in my sight within my scum leans.....but considering how wrong I've been so far in this game, I think POE is probably our safest bet. Basically have everyone do their POE... who is a 'HELL NO' when it comes to lynching candidates. And then take it from there with the remaining pile.

POE is valuable you just have to make sure you aren't misclearing anyone.

But yeah, I agree - once we kill a wolf I think things will fall into place pretty easily so long as we stay the course.

FTR I don't understand Leelou OR Verb particularly well so if someone's gonna take a shot at either, use your gut or listen to Nyn instead of me. I don't feel confident on sizing up either.

I think it's within the realm of reason that I might have miscleared Leelou. My issue is that if I had to decide who of the two seems 'off' I would say Verbal. But my problem with this is that Leeou is reading him as town. If Leelou is town then she should be reading Verbal correctly. Not saying she couldn't be wrong... but 90% of the time she reads him correctly. If not more. Makes it less likely that she'd be wrong. So, you see my problem?

Also... She's well aware that I trust her when it comes to reading Verbal. ie I'm not as good as her at discerning his alignment so when Leelou is in a game with me and I legitimately feel like she's town, I follow her lead about Verbal. So this is definitely a point she could be exploiting if she rolled scum.

At the end of the day.... by POE one of Leelou/Verbal is scum IMO. Could even be both. Unless I'm like seriously wrong with my townie leans. Which I don't think I am.

I think it better to lynch the more obvious wolves and then figure out the question marks outside of your villager group afterwards

As far as Clov goes, I stand behind everything I said about him. I'm kind of a chicken when it comes to lynching un-CCed players.... so I dunno. But his claim is basically the only reason why I backed off. His pulling a disappearance act after his claim....and how little he's been involved then makes him look worse. But I do know that he's also been sick... so I'm not sure how much factors into it.

Do you have a recent game/games in mind where Leelou found Verb scum?
