It's worth looking at, but to clarify, I don't think Nyn was ever voting Hallia in the first place, was she? She didn't so much leave the Hallia wagon as chose to vote Thane over her. I think.

Tommy, here's where I'm not following you - if I'm looking at these vote counts correctly (I started looking back starting at about page 130), Yates was voting Thane long before he and Hallia kind of became the two possible lynches. He was voting him before Clov claimed and everyone jumped off of him. I would think it more likely (again, supposing Hallia is scum) that some of those people - people who went from Clov to Thane, or people who were nonvoting and jumped on Thane's wagon - would be scum.

You are not incorrect but neither does that impact my thinking.

 

 

Fair enough. Having looked back, he did start pushing the Thane lynch pretty hard once all the stuff with Clov claiming doc went down, and he'd be worth a look at if Hallia is also scum. If Hallia is town, I'm not sure there's anything there. Which I think is the point you were making.

The "then I'll vote for Thane" was after he asked AJ about strongman kills.  I don't have a problem with anybody having reasonable doubt about my claim - that's actually a towntelling response.  But this post makes it seem like he didn't really want to go in Thane's direction.  The switching to Hallia comment is just disgusting.

This was about 6 hours to deadline.  I think Thane had said plenty by that point, so this looks more like "I need something to make myself look better postflip" than "This is probably going to end badly, let's do <alternative>".

No, because he's not.  I already explained why I think he's town.  You see how he tried a random CFD on AJ EOD yesterday?  In no way does scumDes try that - no way.

 

Why not? It's not like the CFD was actually going to happen and guess what - Despot is suddenly no longer on the wagon of his lock!scum read on Thane, who happened to flip VT. I don't think it's outside of wolf range by any means. He pushed the wagon to the extent that it became prominent, and then in the final hour when the mislynch was ensured he could cleanly switch to someone else because of ~reads.

 

Eh, I disagree.  I think it is too risky of a play.  I admit I don't have real evidence as to why I think that - just my gut feel.
