If Tommy bus-drove himself with TG then why was Tommy silenced? I can't figure out a reason to silence TG and the coincidence of it bouncing to Tommy twice is incredible, which also begs the question of why Tommy didn't Bus drive himself yesterday and if he did who did he do so with? It's also one of the only abilities that could haev kept me from protecting Hally, which there likely wouldn't be too many of in this game.

 

 

 

It's a big tinfoil but I am still not fully confident in Tommy in this game and some things simply don't add up with what info we have (or will likely have). Also, some past things add up too well considering that scum should have some influence on them. Altogether I have some troubles with this night chess, the resolutions of it and my inability to fully keep up with everything going on in this game.

I had the same reaction to being silenced. Mynd said PAFO. Might be a day ability that activates later or some other nonsense. It shouldn't have hit me last night.

 

N1 I was jailed. Mynd screwed it up. I was gonna bus myself but was jailed before I could submit.

I'm guessing Tommy was silenced because he targeted TG, by some passive ability. Check TG's response from last night when he said if there was a bus driver who switched him and Tommy the bus driver should be silenced.

I was not roleblocked last night in my watcher abilities, Mynd was just late in giving me my results back.  I watched Tommy last night and 4 people visited him: Vos, DT, Tsuki, and (mysterious player).  Mysterious player is someone I am almost completely sure is town and don't want to reveal them to give mafia more information.  However, I didn't want to leaave that person off in case they didn't believe my results.

And actually, I'll throw out my 4th result out there too, Tommy visited himself.  Idk what that means, but whatevs.

So what changed in between these posts?

 

Also, Tommy is who you wanted to protect in the first one? The same player who has been in the middle of everything since the beginning and is most likely already a big target? The same player who, from what I recall has been checked by at least two other people as being town?

 

By protect I meant I didn't want mafia to learn more about his role.  But I put it out there just to get more information.

That's not role-fishing.  There were 4 people who could have silenced Tommy.  The person who I know is town didn't silence him, Vos said he investigated Tommy, and Tsuki said that he took his alignment with Tommy's, that leaves DT.  And Tommy was silenced.  So if you put 2+2 together, DT is the mafia silencer.  I'm giving him an opportunity to prove otherwise right now.

Because Dawn has already claimed to be scum, we don't get any information.  With Des or Dice, we almost certainly get scum and we can verify the validity of roles like Blackhoof or Yates.

We are TWO votes away for a GUARANTEED scum lynch. Why you would want to try to grandstand as Town is beyond dumb. You are basically saying "I want to stall the game and ensure there is no lynch today."

 

I'm going to request that my source check on your alignment tonight. This can't possibly be Town think.

 

Also, your reason for not being on the lynch is not valid. You will verify the validity of my role with a Dawn Venom Symbiote flip. You would verify the validity of Blackhoof's role with a vig shot to either Dice OR Des and a Red Cowl Mafia flip. In other words, everything you want to happen will still happen and we kill two anti Town instead of one.

 

Do we have a vig that we can use?  The one I know about only can do it if a hero is lynched.  If not then our lynch on Dawn and AJ did absolutely nothing useful besides boost our spirits (since they weren't a threat as we just found out) and eliminate the possibility of one more town-controlled kill.

Rags claimed his role gifted Tommy last night, and the only actual dead player that could have been used to create a gift based on their role was Tina.  Since you ended up with a gift that appears like it might be related to Tina's role instead of something generic, say, like a bulletproof vest, this makes it look to me like you were switched with Tommy last night.

 

That has a couple of implications, one of them being Rand is lying, and another being Rags/Des might not actually be scum.  And another being that both Tsuki and Vos's information about alignment would actually be based on you.

 

This is a good point, and I'll try to figure out what happened when Tommy confirms it later in his post.

This means that TG is town, since Vos and Tsuki both got a town result.

 

It also means that the gift TG received was intended for you, which makes it the one Des/Rags said he gave you.

 

Which means unless Baron Zemo is also an inventor/mad scientist role, Des/Rags probably IS Hank Pym.

I'm still trying to figure this out because if I was bus driven, I watched TG, so I should have still seen Des/Rags as a visit.  But the fact that TG got the gift does confirm that it was sent.  Maybe gifting is unwatchable but I doubt it?  Also, if he really is Hank Pym, then are Yates' results all messed up?  He's just getting random info now?  What does that mean for Wombat now?

If DrunkTank's not the silencer that makes sense, but the visiting TG thing and getting silenced doesn't make sense, because we all (Me, Tsuki, Vos, DT, yourself) visited him.  Actually now that I think about it, DT is not the silencer cause his action went on TG (Sorry DT, but I had no reason to believe that until Tommy revealed, which he should have done earlier through NB imo).

The Venom symbiote is perfect for a 1-shot recruit.  My biggest failure was probably failing to see this before.  It attaches to one person and controls them.  If we had found that out before, then that would've been better.

 

And I made a case on why I thought it was unlikely that Dawn had multiple recruits.  Tress responded, and even that was only to a portion of my case.  You guys just ignored it, and guess what happened.

 

And no, we didn't have 100% scum, but it was a really good chance, and if we got town, we would know more about the results Yates is getting right now, and we would have another vig kill to use, which if you really wanted to, could have kill Dawn for us.

Also, this is what we got:

1. We killed an anti Town recruiter. If you question the value of that, look at the game I just won with Mynd and Nyn.

 

2. We ALSO killed an anti Town stalker [sK?] - potentially saving a Town PR's life. Two anti Town kills with one rope is pretty much best case scenario for Town.

 

3. We proved that my ability has been 100% accurate so far. [ie. 1 for 1] This should give you more confidence in the 2nd and 3rd results.

 

4. Since we don't have to block Dawn AND AJ, our PR's are free to use their abilities on our POE scum suspects to potentially block a kill.

 

5. Oh - and remember that two for one deal? Yeah. We basically just had an extra day phase [in essence] without losing a Townie [Hoof doesn't count because he was already dead].

 

6. Speaking of Hoof - we just learned that he was Town aligned and thus his info should be trusted wrt his investigation result on Dice. So even if you don't trust me, you can trust mod confirmed Town that Dice, at least, is scum.

 

That's just for starters. Seems like we learned a lot.
