[Advanced] Blackhoof's Cthulhu Mythos Mafia Game- Day 1

Now that I can see the game through Dawn's eyes, by POE, I have a pretty good idea who the scum team is left.

you know, if it hadn't been for that dream distraction crap, Dawn would have been lynched long before now. Womby & Despo would hardcore about her being scum.

so excuse my while i see the obv wine your giving with that list and so called pool of suspects.

I don't understand this, but somebody gifted Dawn and she never used it. It is a one-shot protect. I might use it on myself, I might use it on someone else. Or, maybe I'm just making it all up. Again. *pours wine*

@Red - You have staunchly defended two scummy townies and are continuing to be selective in your casing. You are my top scumbad right now and your immediate post after Blackhoof's announcement leads me to believe you are a bit nervous that I am back in the game.

the fact that you come right at me out of the gate says that you know your tomorrows lynch and are coming against the person most likely to case your ass into oblivion

also, if i was a scummy white knighting scummy-townies then why did i lead the lynch on Mynd 1.0 who was by far the scummiest townie of the game. or Despo whose playing reeked?

everything thats happened in game and "red is white knighting" is the best you've got *snorts*

@Hally - I don't like how you went for Red so easily without much thought behind it. You are floating in this game, and that's not scum-hunting Hally that I know. Your OMGUS vote on me had no basis on what was going on in the thread.

@Tsukitome - Showed a lot of tude in this game and now has disappeared. Did NOT vote in the last lynch. Has he given up on this game? If he were on the scum team, I feel he would have at least swooped in to vote.....like Tglems did. I feel this kid would be more of a participant if he were scum right now.

your defense on Tsuki is noted.

Tsuki went quiet when we started lynching from Mynd 1.0's dreamer list. now we know it was all town on town violence. my guess is he's laying low to let us chew ourselves to death so his team can take the easy win.

Gun to head - I would go with Red if there is only one scum left, and Red/TGlems if there are two. Could substitute Hally for either of those two. I feel 85% sure that Clov & Tsukitome are town.

and gun to my head, Tsuki first off for the lurk central all game where theres been more town on town violence than in the movie "The Purge", and a tie between Halia (for her over all play) and Mynd 2.0 (seeing as Mynd 1.0 flipped town)

no i dont speak for the dead, i'm just not letting their casing go to waste since i know that they were town now and not trying to go for an easy mislynch.

Despo was on Dawn since D1.

then with her antic's on D2 with the 180 on me, Wombat's lock!clear, let me sheep Despo's vote on Red; while ignoring all the "Dream" stuff Mynd 1/0 posted, Womby and even Mynd 1.0 started going at her.

D3 Mynd 1.0 was casing her and she was the competing train i might add.

the only thing that kept her from being lynched instead of Rand/Dap or Mynd 1.0 was that dreamer stuff.

theres nothing right now to suggest Dawn/Mynd 2.0 as not being scum and as not being a good train for tomorrow. if Dawn hadn't been replaced i'd say speed lynch her cause at this point i'm pretty much lock!scum. but given she's been replaced and theres no sort of finder type role claiming her as scum (like with Rand/Dap) i'm reluctantly willing to hear you out

Last thing first. You don't CARE what his meta says? WTF? You are scumtelling right now. You are still trying to use how I acted as I did earlier in the game to justify my current slot being scummy. I took full responsibility for what happened and I am now having a second chance to repair what I have done. Tsuki is the type of player who likely would be more involved if he was scum. Nyn is not. What is a scumtell for one is not for another.

I've been absolutely disgusted by the Mynd-game we all just suffered through - and then he starts with the crap again.

I haven't asked for a replacement, because I feel sorry for the poor slob who would have to catch-up, but NO, I have minimal vested interest anymore. Am focused on other threads and such that I am currently running, sorry.

Would vote Dynd. Dawn played scummy as hell - no one "evolves" that much, that fast. Your white-knighting of me is noted.

Red is misguided, but at least is suspicious. However, I am quite leery about why she felt the urge to jump over your statements about me, and yet chose to avoid mentioning TG until she kinda had to ("scumster lurk hardcore like TG or Tsuki")... What is your opinion on TG, Red.

If you were scum, you would have participated more. Plain and simple. You also would have hammered Mynd 1.0 or at least been weaving the air of hate then.

I'd ease back on how "disgusted" you are. You had bailed on this game long before the dream stuff happened, so I find it hard for you to use that as an excuse to no longer be interested.

Good to have you back and participating. If you are town, and I believe you are, then we will need your insights to pull off a win...and maybe I can redeem myself after all.

honestly TG has been so lurktastic i dont have a read on him. i'm gogin to the ISO machine come morning if i'm still here.

opinion before the ISO machine is that he needs to get his butt in here and post more.

there is such a thing as too scummy to be scum, derp town; and given the amount of town on town and how wrong my scumdar has been thsi game .... while i'm heavy scum!lean on Mynd 2.0; its not beyond the scope of reason that the lurkers are the scum and are laying back again for more town on town violence.

TL;DR, i need to go to the ISO to pull together clear thoughts on everyone but Mynd 2.0

I'm sure at least one of those three is scum. From my POV, it's not me. This would have been a good time to pull that dream crap because we would totally hit a scum.

Clov and Hallia's vote/hammer suck, as it was more of a "take this, arsehole" lynch, rather than a "you are scum" lynch. I got the feeling they were just doing it because of how you cost us three townies. However, I am most suspcious of TG and Clov.

hallia pulled a bog-standard OMGUS vote, but then TG comes out of the woodwork, immediately followed by clov's vote.

The remaining investigators were holed up in a single room. They had given up the search for Tallow after Spade had been killed. It was safer to stay together, and decide who next to kill. All the ones who resisted playing the game had either acquiesced or been killed. They just wanted this to be done with. Hopefully, it would be soon.

"You know what?" Zane suddenly perked up. He had a strange look on his face. He drew a gun out of his holster, and everyone reacted, backing away from him and telling him to put it away. Linda drew her own gun, and pointed it at him. "Drop it, Zane. Let's just calm down..." Zane looked askance at her.

"No... the time for talking is over. I have spent the last day and a half killing, and Great Cthulhu HASN'T NOTICED ME YET!" The others gasped, and more guns were drawn. Zane cried out, "Ph'nglui mglw-nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn! Cthulhu, answer me! I swore to kill for you, now bring me from this place!"

Zane pointed his gun at Linda, and then at George, and at Lucy. "And you pathetic followers of Hastur, and you infidels who refuse to see who our true lord is... you will all die!" With a hand gesture and an alien word, a huge sphere of mist coalesced around Zane and rapidly spread outwards, filling the room and destroying visibility. Gunshots rang out, people struggled and grappled together in the thick fog, and screams and cries of pain were heard. Within a minute, the fog rapidly cleared, and three bodies lay on the floor. George, a gunshot wound through his chest, his eyes glazed over, was sprawled against the wall. Gary, shrivelled just like Desmond had been, lay in the corner. and finally, Zane, his eyes wide and manic in death, had several gunshot wounds and a dagger in his chest and stomach, laying in the middle of the floor.

Linda, Lucy and Eden were the last ones standing. Looking at each other, Linda and Lucy smiled. Eden gulped. "So... uh... we got Zane... that's a relief, right girls?" Linda laughed. "Hahaha... yes, yes it is." Raising her gun, she shot at Eden. She missed, and Eden ran out of the room, her other shots missing as well. Opening the door, she fled into the hallways... which were still ringing with the demonic screaming of Tallow's pets. Less than an hour later, the howling stopped, and when Linda and Lucy searched the hallways for Eden all they found were her clothes.

The voice of Tallow rang out from everywhere at once, "HAHAHAHA! YOU HAVE DONE WELL, SLAVES OF HASTUR." Linda grimaced, and cursed at him. "We played your game! Now let us leave here in peace!"

"HMMM.... MAYBE I SHALL.... MY SPELL IS COMPLETED, I HAVE LEECHED THE SUFFERING FROM YOUR COMPANIONS OVER THIS PAST DAY, AND NOW, I AM IMMORTAL! NOTHING WILL KILL ME! HAHAHA!"

"BUT THEN... I CAN'T LET YOU GET BACK TO YOUR CULTIST FRIENDS, NOW CAN I? THE SERVANTS OF THE YELLOW SIGN WILL NOT KNOW WHAT HAS OCCURRED HERE. THAT KNOWLEDGE WILL DIE WITH YOOOOUUUU!"

"No!" They both cried. Suddenly a screeching and howling was heard from down the hall, in both directions, and seconds later an blurry horde of monsters, barely visible, existing partially in another plane of existence, turned the corners, converging on the two cultists of Hastur. They screamed words of power at the beasts, but it was pointless. Soon, Lucy and Linda were nothing but piles of clothes, spread across the hallway.

And with that, the mansion disappeared. Where a tall, foreboding structure had stood, now was but an empty hill, with a faint peel of laughter echoing, but none were left alive to hear it.

The mafia has won the game!

Mynd, I freaking hate you. I hate you so much right now. It'll pass away eventually, Its been passing away more as you make fun of yourself. But I caught up to my second 100 page game, the first one which I didn't even replace in, and then I got killed because of your shenanigans. :baalzamon:

Lenlo won us the game, really. His gambit was pretty awesome. Post three times, get silenced and then shot by a SK. A stroke of brilliance! We really couldn't have done this without him. Only that we kinda did.
