Well, yes, but she specifically FoSes Des for his representation of Leelou. I didn't agree with his case at the time, but I believe Des meant it.

I'm gonna leave for a bit. The Heat/Pacers game is getting pretty intense, so I'm gonna kick back and watch that while I continue working to polish off this bottle of rum :wub:

1) What about Mish's statement was scummy? Why do you think she warranted your vote D1?  She totally warranted it, for a D1, the comment she made about people voting/talking about her while sleeping was scummy.  It's been addressed already.

 

2) When did Pral become a scum read for you, since you were earlier agreeing with him about his commentary on RTE's read list?  He became a scum towards the end of D1

 

3) Why did you feel comfortable voting Lazy, who you admit you couldn't remember the content of, over another scum read?  If I think they could both be scum, I don't much care which we lynch, as long as we lynch one.

 

4) Why did you list Tina as one of the 3 you would Vig if you didn't mean it?  I chucked her on there as just a random person

 

5) Why do you say that RTE is more suspicious to you and then vote Pral?  Same as earlier, I'm on someone I believe is scum.  

 

6) How do you see Verb/Cory/Pral/AJ as a scum team?  Verb/Cory back and forth could easily be distancing.  Pral could easily be a member.  You are a longshot, but anything's possible.

I'm suspicious of the people not voting me.  I'm an easy lynch, as I've made myself.  (No, I would not have really shot Tina, given the opportunity.)  I'd say the people pushing hardest on me today are quite safely town, (IE AJ.)  I'm most suspicious of RTE, as he is never afraid to vote me.  I'm normally the one person he latches onto.  Instead, he picks Dice over me, whose claim I do believe.  And also regarding Pral, this from D1 was pretty suspicious.

 

 

Also, inb4 one of the townies says "So long and thanks for all the fish" in his Bah post..

 

There, you all lost your one creative reference idea. 

 

It sounds, though a joke, like he is addressing townies as if he isn't one.  That on top of the stalled lynch today make me confident he's scum

Okay, Hallia's D2 Narrative begins here

 

The arbitrary nature of this post is what bothers me. There's a smart Mafia strategy here to say "I think the people that are voting me are town and the people who aren't voting me but will later to consolidate are Mafia"

 

Obviously there is an appeal to the people scumreading you and voting you that they are wrong, but you don't think they are scummy for being wrong to potentially motivate them into voting elsewhere. The reason this bothers me is that my biggest "impact" on the game for you so far was a notably lazy post where you townread me and Nyn off of "different tone" (well in my case) and for the most part have sort of just ebbed with the thread.

 

I remember you sort of humming with consensus irt to me as your "handling of me as a suspect", saying things like "Cory's tone isn't as townish as it was" and "Cory's tone is sounding townish again" as I have gone up-and-down in this thread in terms of clout and rationality.

 

The second part of this is you are using a scum tactic to motivate players not voting you into staying off of you. Since townies can't be sure of your alignment, you are fostering an environment "if you vote me, you are scum" and townies have high potential to hesitate in a high-risk situation as nobody wants to have negative attention/risk of pressure.

 

Essentially you are giving a free stance with 0 actual Mafia rationale were you have one purpose and that is to try and stall your lynch as opposed to giving out your actual scumreads (and you had me in your sights all of last game, I do know you actually do scumread and townread people off non-arbitrary things)

 

Cory you just gave me the biggest broner.

Best I can do is list of reads tonight. Might try some cases with quotes tomorrow, but I'm spent on energy. 

 

Slot01 - Cory - was going back and forth on Cory, was finally getting a townie feel on him, then EMO. Read is still up in the air because I don't know how the emo fit works with a town alignment. Don't like the fact that he character claimed with minimal pressure during all of that. 
Slot02 - BFG - rehashing the same points over and over again. I haven't seen her really pick anything new and most topics have been easy. Leaning scum 
Slot04 - Des - Claiming tracker and to have tracked Dice and saw him track himself, for the moment, a town lean
Slot05 - Tina - one of my strongest town reads. In Tina, I trust. Her posts have all been on for her town meta. 
Slot06 - Thane - claims vig. Giving benefit of the doubt for now, but filed away as possible SK if game does not resolve 
Slot07 - RTE - latest list of reads is a whole bunch of meh. Does not list Lazy and only mentions AJ in another read. Scum lean. Also, mentions of his Post Restriction from Des - I could see him hiding behind it as scum. All the other possible PRs have seemed to have cleared out early in the game. Once you start something as scum, you typically stay more dedicated to it
Slot08 - Andrej - oozing town after his initial reads lite
Slot09 - Lazy - still have seen nothing satisfying from Lazy - scum lean
Slot11 - Pralaya - I keep going back to Pral's reads list from D1 and the fact that I had disagreements with it. It wasn't lining up with what I was thinking and I have a slight uneasy feeling from him. 
Slot12 - Hallia - I did have her as a town read until she listed Tina as someone she'd vig, then I completely lost track of her thought process and she moved to the scummier side of the moon 
Slot13 - Dice - claimed watcher. Really having a hard time reconciling him as town with his thread presence and NA choice. Not willing to lynch today, but watching him since there is a major trust issue there
Slot14 - Mish  vos - Vos actually looks like he is trying to get his hands dirty on thread. For the moment, town lean
Slot15 - Verbal - town
Slot16 - Leelou - town 

 

Willing to vote for (listed as in order from the player list): BFG, RTE, Lazy, Pral, Hallia

Why is it moot? Cory has a legitimate point in saying that you have established an environment by saying that those who vote you late rather than those who established your wagon are scum.

 

1) It has been addressed, by others. Mostly by Nyn iirc, who said that she's seen Mish react similarly in other games when she was town. I said the same. I want to know why YOU thought it was vote worthy. You still aren't explaining that.

 

2) Okay - when exactly? Show me some posts of his that changed your read. SHOW ME YOUR THOUGHT PROCESS SO THAT I CAN ATTEMPT TO FOLLOW IT.

 

3) When did Lazy become a scum read for you? As I showed earlier, you had ZERO commentary irt to him up to that point. Others made the case, you sheeped.

 

4) This is what I have most issue with. You randomly list a person to Vig just... because? I can't see motivation behind this from a Town POV.

 

5) So although you think Pral had a good point irt RTE's list of reads earlier, you both have them as scum now?

 

6) Meh. Not much to say here other than I disagree.

Kinda worked backwards while catching up, and yeah this is personally enough for me. Already thought Hallia seemed scummy before, but this set of responses... it's not even trying to act like it could have come from town. Then there's the "I acted scummy on purpose" excuse which Pray already pointed out doesn't mesh with her claiming VT so quick early on. Lastly her recent "reads" have been just wowzors bad. Especially considering the inclusion of AJ as a long shot- considering Hallia had JUST said he seemed more likely town for his push on her. All adds up to Hallia lookin stinky stinky.

 

Initially felt apprehension about there being essentially only one train, but seeing as how Hallia aint really fighting her lynch all that hard, and claimed VT a long time ago before she ever really got any pressure- no one else besides her is being lynched today. Think she's getting bussed today as well.

Not sure if I'm gonna reread tonight- I'd rather do a reread after today's flip (hopefully it's a scumflip). I'll admit I don't have the best handle on the game atm, been so preoccupied with baby stuff that I've kinda lost track of this game... I'll wrangle my hold on it eventually tho
