At AJ - A silvertongue to balance the LD and a Jailkeeper who locked you down last night - even balance? (yeah, I know it is usually a Town role) - yeah, keeps a townie from being targeted, but also

could protect a fellow scum from a Vig without ID-ing said Vig... seems Advanced to me. 

 

The LD is both balanced and counterbalanced by the ST and the role Tal claimed. He basically functions as the opposite of what the ST does, much like a Miller. The Town Miller views as guilty to the Cop, the Mafia Godfather views as innocent. It's the same way with how the Silvertongue always gets detected as true and the Rubbertongue always gets detected as false. Having this LD/ST/RT trio basically rules out a Cop imo.

 

The mafia having a JK (I think the scum version is called an Alien, but whatever) could balance I suppose. It functions both ways in that they could protect one of their buddies from getting vigged/cop viewed and also serves as a RB for active town roles. The only thing here is that if they continue to Jail me, they also can't kill me lol. So it's either let me loose to potentially stuff their NK or just block me and keep me useless at Night so they can kill freely but allow me to be alive during the Day. Tricky situation.

Here is what I'm afraid of - let's say we lynch TG today and he flips town. Then what? We can't afford to lynch RTE the next Day on the chance he is telling the truth because if he is town we lose.

 

Better yet - RTE comes in with a 'guilty' view and we all speed hammer FTL.

I'm not trying to get under your skin dude - I know where you're coming from. You have to understand it from my angle as well, I can't buy your claim at face value. There is also A LOT of evidence that shows how you being a Cop is HIGHLY unlikely.

What I'm saying is we had a counter to the LD so I think it is likely we have a counter to the Cop. Based on what we know and who Turin vetted, that leaves Hallia as the possible Godfather. However, on the chance we are wrong, TG and Talmanes are much scummier to me right now.

 

Now, where is Hallia? Hearing from her and her reaction to the flip would be great.

 

Frankly I don't have the energy or motivation to do it but BFG's ISO needs another look.

 

I'm being sincere here. If I'm that much of a distraction then lynch me. Night 5 you get another shot hopefully and Day 5 you lynch smart and you're still alright. So you can still win this. If I need to die to win because my claim is messing things up then so be it. But I am quite concerned with who dies tonight if I die today as well.

I have to say, RTE's posts are making me think he looks even more like a probable scum. He is definitely reaching to try to avoid being lynched, and I really don't see where he expects to go with trying to make confirmed Townies look bad. I also think saying he viewed BFG seems way too convenient and seems to get him out of having to give results.

AJ you also make a really good point. Today is the day to lynch RTE if we are going to, and if he is fake claiming he could do a lot of harm at this point in the game. I guess it's now or never.
