Since when is asking what initials stand for a reason to FOS someone? I don't recognize half the initials that have been used on this game thus far. So the obvious thing is to ask. Using that against dice is reaching.

Posts after getting called out by Darthe for low post count. Laying low, possibly?

Refers to Mish FOSing him being incorrect and that Dawn shouldn't get a newbie pass.

Has a back and forth chat with Tommy about his post being awkward. null.

Votes Mistress and says he'll look into Red later on (He's the third person on her train).

Posts the next day. Says that character claims should not be given much prevalence. Seems to lean towards Red being truthful because scum wouldn't choose such a weak claim as a BG, plus once a PR surfaces she'd have to protect that person and vet herself. He also thinks her train built up too quick. So he leaves his vote on Mistress.

Points out a list of people to look into for next day: Megaloud, Krak, Mynd, Dawn, Dice, Zanube.

Argues against Cloud claiming that Mistress is obviously town by self voting.

He FOSes Zanube for showing up last minute and casting her vote Mistress. He even says that it looks like she took his post and changed the wording a bit. He follows it by FOSing Dawn's last minute vote shift to Mistress as well.

He points out that he wants to look into Mynd because of all his hydra talk. Yet he doesn't join the attempt to speedlynch Mynd right before the deadline.

A couple of fluff posts about where Darthe is and what JN means.

He gets into a discussion with Mynd about variables and trying to understand his hydra theory. Then he admits that scum hydra give scum advantage. But also speaks of the advantage of town hydra. But then he backtracks and says talking about this is a distraction.

He agrees with Tommy on his assumption that Nolder was a vig kill and that Desbat's coroner report was hidden by a janitor.

Then he gets into hydra talk with Mynd again lol

He argues against Mynd's theory about the two deaths. Two thumbs up for that.

 

Ends up voting Mynd (5th on his train) cause he thinks his theories are a distraction. I'm not really satisfied with this reason. Mynd always has theories. If this was a valid reason to lynch him, he'll get lynched right off every game he plays in. Some might find his theories a distraction cause they don't agree with them. What they don't realize is the response potential. I don't know if Mynd was banking to see who would rush to go for his hydra theory or who would be dead against it. But it still has the potential to serve as a tool. Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it's wrong. The only thing that prompted me to vote Mynd was how poorly constructed his take on the two deaths were. It's not his style. His theories usually hold strong and this one seemed rushed and focused on him. Sucks that I was wrong, but that's how I read him.

 

Tommy makes fun of X for talking about hydras when the topic was dropped so long ago.

X excuses his late posting by saying that everyone sleeps when he's awake and vice versa. Well, guess what? I'm 7 hours ahead of all the Americans and you don't see me lagging, right? So no more time difference BS. kthanks.

AJ FOSes X for parroting people's cases and not seeing anything original from him. X agrees and explains again that it's due to opposite timezones. BULLSHIT. I don't understand the relevance. He can still dish out cases on people he finds suspicious.

He proceeds by pointing out that Mynd was the person he wanted to focus anyhow. The others he wanted to note was Nol (who was dead at that point), Krak, Zanube (who wasn't posting at that point) and Dawn. Says he'll be looking into Krak soon.

An hour later he declares that people that should get attention are: dice, dawn and krak. Weird, considering an hour before he didn't have dice included in his list. What changed in the span of an hour? LOL Maybe it is because dice has started posting a bit more and people's eyes are on him at current?  I can see what AJ means about him not being original. Besides, wasn't he going to look into Krak?

 

 

 

X is playing it safe. He's not going on the limb with any of his reads. He posts enough to be seen posting but he's not contributing anything. I'm not impressed by his case on dice. He hasn't really cased anyone up until now or shown real conviction in his stance, IMO. AJ noted his lack of originality and contribution which alarmed him enough to case dice... who wasn't even on his two previous 'need to be looked into' lists. I seriously dislike him using time differences as an excuse for his lack of contribution.

Dice, talking in the quote box will make it difficult to discern especially when I'm talking from phone. If you look at DM-mobile and quote something, colours don't appear just the code for the colour when you are posting.

 

1-And the basis for that change in read is? 

 

3-Now you are just be persisting in not answering why you found it as Nolder directing a PR. I could ask you how does it sound like that but that serves no purpose. He said we have no one to BG for. I don't know how that is directing a PR.

 

Also if you considered that, why does your read in no way account for that probability?

 

4-That should affect you in no way if you have definite statements showing them to be mafia. If there is something clearly discerning them as mafia, everyone will accept it.  Hell, if you have something definite that way-I'll stand with you.

So I was thinking. Why would the mafia kill Desbat. I mean we never really talked about it. Just carried over reads from the previous day as if the kill didn't really happen.

 

Theory one: to set up Desbat's targets for a lynch

 

Theory two: since Des was the only one who could game the #alliance with any measure of a record of success in general game play, maybe they wanted him out early. Desbat, Cory and Tommy have basically echoed each other's reads so why shoot there instead of the other two if the scum was trying to frame up Desbat's reads.

 

I'm not sure I'm following theory 2 here - can you clarify?

5. Don't believe in last minute speed lynches. Don't like it. And in this case I had a stronger scum lean on Mishtress than Mynd.

 

6. I felt that until that point everyone had just rebuffed Mynd-so I thought explaining the points in a not-aggro way would be better. And yes-the pointing out distraction was a mention so as to not to have it happen later.

Aside from some minor prods at Dawn, which lets admit, is the easiest person to prod since she’s so overtly scummy… I see nothing. A big fat nothing. Added to that, I’ve played with Hallia before. She ‘s always on the quiet side, throwing in an insight here and there that contributes to the discussion. I don’t see any of that here. I see her posting loads so as not to be one of the people that gets poked for activity. But all she’s doing is taking a piss. Don’t get me wrong, I love to goof around. But there needs to be a balance. If all what you do is joke than that’s no bueno.

 

So yeah. Hallia has been awesome at explaining things to Dawn. At FOSing Dawn. At pressuring her for like a second and letting it go. At giving her opinion about  plays that have been done in previous games, as if they mean anything in this current game. At providing a list of suspects that is rather similar to what other players have provided time and time again.

I still think it's a moot point and I don't like how you've hid behind it several times. As long as you catch up you should be able to give some insight and notice something that someone else might overlooked. Try to put some more effort into that and I might reconsider my stance.

So you decided to concentrate on dice because he has started to post more? Why? Scum usually nk someone to leave no info. Or to frame up future lynches, or to take out a pr, or to set up a Wifom.

 

1) they shot desbat so that theory is gone

2) they could of used as a frame up kill, but why Desbat, over Cory or tommy? Since all their reads where essentially the same

3) no indication of a pr to shoot at.

4) Cory and tommy had the most to gain from shooting desbat since he could game both of them more effectively. And it sets up both of their towniness cause they were on point with desbat who we are assuming is town since he was the mafia shot.

I assumed DesBat was killed because it's a two-for-one kill of strong players. Classic mafia strat is to kill off the loudest and most likely to solve the game townies and leave the spazzy disinterested ones alive to get lynched. DesBat was not someone who could get pushed or lynched early so I would have killed them too. It's pretty rare that I see a kill meant to leave no information. WIFOM is always more damaging than nothing.
