jimminy christmas ....  i'm gone for a day and 1/2 and you lot go from 94 pages to 154  o.0   well at least thats where i last read.   fyi i think my test went well ...  at least out of 33 questions i'm only meh on like 2, which means i either aced the thing and taking the few days away from the internet was a great idea ... or i bombed it and should think twice about taking Cal 2 over the summer ......   either way it counts twice and unless i get a 105 on it, i'm not getting out of the class with anything higher than a B+.  which is not something i'm happy about, seeing as this will be my first B since going back to school last summer

 

 

so looking at the OP and reading to see the last VC (which ended up being the lynch)  we're down the cop and the finder, the scum had a rolestopper (will have to look that one up, is it anythign like a Role Blocker?) and Leelou & Verb were scum .....  which is good their gone, bad combo for us on that one and good job you lot for getting them.

 

 

Crayjay was the cop, which explains his 180 on me.  Pete was doc, which explains his lurking/scummy play.  and Desbat is still the only player whose corner report has been hidden from us  :unsure:

 

 

aaaaannnnddd  somehow dawn, megaloud and krak are still alive ......  o.0

 

 

i expect to get caught up around Saturday.    if it turns day before then i'll start playing from here and just catch up in my spare time instead of bogging down the game thread with perma catch up till end game (if i'm not killed before then <_< )

In the end that was what got her killed.

 

 

NyanCat - Grey Wind, Town 2x Vig has been killed.

 

 

It is now Day!  It is now LYLO.  With 8 alive it takes 5 to lynch.

Oi. We're at MyLo now. You don't get to vote for me, especially not without discussion. If you're hard claiming scum, have a fun time; otherwise you don't get to congratulate the dead person on her efforts after she concluded I'm town and then vote for me. We will deal with you later. Also comments on not protecting Yates or Crayjay?

I glanced at last night again and you essentially admitted that Jack could be the town doc yet voted for him anyway. Why did you vote for him if you actually believed him? Makes no sense.

I didn't. I was pointing out the massive logic fail which believed if he was doc. Acc. to me if he was doc, he should have protected cory. He didn't , which is bad. So made absolutely no sense in his claim.  So I pointed it out that, the claim makes no sense and believed him to be mafia.

 

This is how I case before a vote. Address everything and then vote.

nope i am not a BG.  i'm a nilla town, have been from the start.

 

 

when i saw that votes were piling on me left and right, i took a gamble.  i looked up my character and saw that from the wiki page a protection role claim would fit his character (as he's part of Robb's 30 kings gaurd and basically gave his life to protect Robb via flipping a table to use as a shield at the Red Wedding in the book.

 

so knowing i didn't want to get lynched, and claiming nilla woudln't slow the train i decided to fake claim.  i had faith that my posting in the beginning of the game would give the scum enough to try and push a lynch on me rather than NKing me, so i wanted my claim to be something strong enough to get the scums attention (get them to target me with all of their nasty roles) but not to invoke a CC from any townie that might have that role.

 

so instead of claiming full out healer; i went with BG.  tbh i didn't even consider vettability through night actions into the equation and this is why i was so sure that Yates was scum and acted the way i did with him (though in hind sight i was wrong about him, but right about him not being Vig atleast.  seriously though fake claiming Vig, i hope that Nyn didn't waste a bullet on him and it was very anti-town of him to try and draw protection from someone who he thoguht was BG seeing that he was Nilla.)

 

i also figured that any cop worth their salt would vet me N1, and as we see crayjay went from harping for my lynch D1 to considering me Lock Clear D2.   idk if he revealed his findings before he was killed, i haven't even begun to read up on this thread.

 

 

a few notes though.  if Nyn was correct about Dawn, that she hasn't changed her posting style this entire game ... only pops up when she's getting heat, then goes back to lurking.  she's def scum imo.  her mysteriously poping back in whenever she's starting to take heat screams of being on a QT and being poked by team mates.  i dont need to catch up to be good with a vote on her.

 

also, the irony surrounding Mynds lynch ... that he was pushing us lynching the Hybrids because a few of them might be scum ... then seeing that so far 2 have ended up on the scum team.  i bet he's laughing his ass off right now XD

even if i had a protection role i wouldnt have used it on Yates.  i doubted his claim of being Vig from the get go.  liek i said, if he was the Vig he woulda shot me, not Nol.  his move to get me to protect him smelled like a set up to try and make him look more town; especially with him thinking i was a BG.

 

when i fake claimed, i was looking for people to try and use my role to vet themselves; getting the thread to think or pressure me into "protecting" them, then having the scum NK me to make it look like the scum targetted them and i took the bullet.  Yates was acting like this.  and his actions, as a nilla town, trying to get a claimed BG to protect them, was a stupid and anti-town move.  what would have happed if there was a BG and they protected him becuase of this stupid gambit.  he woudl have cost the town a protection role at the expense of saving a nilla townie whose scumdar was more than off base. 

 

not only that, but fake claiming vig means that you'r not only liekly drawing the NK from the scum (cause Vigs are a mega threat to scum) but the real Vig will likely shoot you out of spite.  so your not only risking protection roles, your also wasting a Vig's shot (and vig's are generally limited in shots.)

 

in hindsight, his entire fake claim was anti-town and was selfish imo.  it gained the town nothing and could have cost the town everything.

 

 

re-crayjay - i've only read up to page 94, the lynch on Mynd had just happened.  i haven't been on DM since Monday night.  i know he's he cop fromt eh OP, and saw someone mention a few posts up that he revealed in thread.  aside form that, i know nothign abtou the context of how or why he revealed not what he revealed aside from outting Leelou and Verb as scum (good job on that Crayjay!)

I'm going to ##Vote Dice. His logic has been terrible all game long and the way he said to Len that he was playing in the mafia's hands looked like a scum slip to me.

According to my notes there are only two people who mentioned Verbaline before Cory outed them -

 

Leno mentioned them as possible scum with Cory

I had them as a town lean a bit back but I can't remember if it was before or after Cory outing them. I'm about to board a plane so I don't have time to go look.

 

 

Len doesn't mention them again that I noted but cloud turns them to a hard read with Jack and Mynd.

can you post an actual case on Dice since i'm not caught up.   and where did Verbilina try to get me lynched?  Tina halfheartedly came after me, but Verb straight out said he thought i was town during N2.   did they start casing me hard once i went on LoA??

Red; I'm glad you unclaimed, but I'm not glad you claimed in the first place. You could have forced a CC if there was a BG and you indirectly muddied the Doc claim situation. If the dead scummers went hard at you then I kinda doubt you're scum, but in terms of equity value for the town, we would have been better off if you claimed VT and were lynched D1 instead of MishTress since you were gone for a week. I'm not trying to shame you, but your play was selfish and anti town. Think about it for the next game maybe.
