Wombat and AJ with a bit of Des thrown in looks mostly town on town. Des comes out the worst to me, slight scum lean there.

Ah. Well I wont care about the scummy part thats unchangeable but ill work on commenting on the game more while still getting those in.

But this is the scummiest post of the game. Lenlo goes from joketastic to suddenly very agreeable.

##vote Lenlo

I was using playful banter that's all.

Ugh, I hate when people try to explain away with "Oh but I was joking!" Scum lean on Jack

As scum he might be slightly more amenable.

Despo, you've just made my case on Lenlo.

I also hate the Town vs Town comment.

I wasn't joking. I think wombat is scum at this present moment. Ergo my vote on him. My delivery was in a jocular manner however the underlying meaning was serious as I further explained. #semantics

Amazing.

I still say we auto lynch anyone who says lock clear...

I agree, and we start with the ones overusing lockclear AND frozen

## Vote Des

Joke/Policy vote 10 pages in.  Gross.

Posted

Because there is a well of tangible stuff to hang onto 10 pages in? I'm late to the party, thought I'd get some punch even though everyone who arrived early apparently moved onto serious discussion over wine.

We're nowhere near a lynch, so a joke vote 10 pages in (and that went quite fast) is neither fatal nor gross, but fine.

Moving on to trying to catch up here >_<

No, it's gross.  Notice how Dice unvoted his joke Despo vote immediately?  Yeah.  And you don't need "tangible stuff" to scumhunt.

Indeed.  "Hunch" is good enough 'round here.

No, it's gross.  Notice how Dice unvoted his joke Despo vote immediately?  Yeah.  And you don't need "tangible stuff" to scumhunt.

Notice how you didn't unvote your "joke vote" when Despo climbed aboard?  Either it wasn't really a joke vote or.....it was.  (How's THAT for LOGIC?! lol) The thing is, it almost feels like Nolder and Jack jumped on the Womby Train to help AJ.....or to at least appear to help AJ.  Then, if Womby is lynched and flips town, they could argue: "Well, it was that new guy, Lewis, who started it....you can't blame us."   I hope this all makes sense.  My brain can get jogging around in circles on these things.

Oh REEEEAAAAALLLLLY?

I am tempted to remove my vote on Womby.  My gut says scum but the logic actually suggests Jack or Nolder.  The timeliness of their votes bother me.  And of the two, Nolder made the better (rather, less weak) argument for why.

Hence....

Ugh. Can't I just sleep until this cold or whatever goes away?

Truth is I DO feel uncomfortable with the Wwwwwomby train growing in w's so suddenly with the MOD's timer posting as a catalyst.  What bothers me more is how DESPO and TRESS seem more concerned with picking apart the arguments made by AJ and I whilst ignoring those sneaky scum-for-nothings who joined the bandwagon.

And yet you are still voting Wombat. Got ya.

I stated very clearly last night that I was giving a few quick thoughts before I took my meds. I was miserable and ran out of steam before I got around to clarifying my thoughts on Jack and Nolder, or much of anything else. That will happen, rest assured. I don't have a lot of time this morning, but I will be coming straight home from work, so after dinner I'll do some multiquoting and whatnot.

Nose is running like there's no tomorrow, and my head is swimming.  Past time for the Nyquil.

Quick thoughts, hopefully I'll be less hazy in the morning.

I read Womby's vote on AJ as a gamestarter attempt - bold, little explanation, getting reactions.   Despo's sheeping the vote was blatant and looks to me like a push to help with the gamestarting, pretty clear he was after AJ's reaction to the train.  Willing to put both of them provisionally in the town pile for now.

AJ was doing OK for a while IMO in reaction, although I'm not fond of the way he mischaracterized what Despo said ("he indicated rather strongly that he thinks you are town") and then when called on it backtracked to "well that's how I interpreted it"...  Questionable.

Lewis appears to be making mountains out of molehills - first game here, and I'm sure he's not familiar with the general feel of our games.  Early D1 there really is little to go on, so most cases are trumped up or meta based - and since he doesn't know our metas, nitpicking is pretty much the way to go I suppose...  But I disagree with the way he's characterizing Wombat's play, especially picking on the FOS without a vote thing - that looked pretty much like a joke to me, and most everyone was very much still joking around.

I may chalk this post up to the meds talking, but this post bothers me.  Last part first, I hardly see making a mountain out of a mole-hill in regards to Womby's "non-joke" reasons for keeping his vote where it is.  If it was just a joke vote, why has he kept it where it is?  I am strange to your mafia ways, yes, but I assume that the truth is still the truth here, right?

While my mountains are more like medium-sized mounds......well, at least C-Cups......Tress actually goes on to do just what she accuses me of in the paragraph just above said accusation.  She doesn't like AJ's poking around and calls it questionable, which is exactly what I am calling Wwwwombat's weak reasons for keeping his vote.

*sings* It's the KETTLE and POT reunion!

Kettle and pot? You mean, your keeping your joke vote on Wombat while saying you're questioning his reasons for keeping his initial vote on AJ?

I mean, this has to be a joke, right?

##vote Ice for being mentored by my buddy Darthe.

Bring it on.

FoS!

I think I shall ##vote Wwwwwwwwwwwombat for fingering people without the courtesy of voting them.  What's the matter, Col. Saunders?  CHICKEN?!

Yeah, that's got to be a joke.

So you're just pressuring him? Ok fine.

That still leaves Wombat's motives unexplained.

Ok game talk.  Yeah, that dude seems awful quiet.  Anyone who fingers someone without voting them on Day 1 is playing way too cautious, if you ask me.

I think I shall keep my vote where it is.

"Seems awful quiet" and "playing way too cautious" as a reason for keeping your joke vote on Wombat (and the "playing way too cautious" refers to what is CLEARLY a joke by Wombat), then suddenly it's all about how Wombat kept his initial vote on AJ?

And you characterize me as being hypocritical why exactly? Because I think AJ was mischaracterizing Despo's statements and you think calling it "questionable" is making a mountain out of a molehill? You realize my point about you making a mountain out of a molehill was because you voted Wombat initially (and KEPT your vote on him) because he joke FOS'd someone and didn't vote them?

You say you're calling Wombat's weak reasons for keeping his vote on AJ "questionable" and that's all you're doing, but up until this point, I don't see you calling out Wombat's reasons for keeping his vote on AJ. I see you asking a couple of questions, and then insinuating Wombat is mafia because "his posts and logic give you a headache".

You're not making a lot of sense to me, here, Lewis.

Time to take a shower and get ready for work. My internet access from work is restricted, so I won't be able to do much until I get home, I'll read up on lunch and breaks to keep current if the data network on my phone cooperates.

@Tress with sniffles:  Ya know Mount Dhoom doesn't seem so ominous compared to the mole-hill you just enhanced.

First question:  Why are you defending Wwwwwwombat?   Why should it bother you so much what I say about Wwwwwomby?  The effort to which you and Despo have gone to defend him is very curious; however, I think I get why.  Doesn't mean all three of you aren't scum, it just explains things.  Kinda hard to use collusion as a reason for scum in a game about the "CLASH OF ANCIENTS" if you know what I mean.

Second:  My vote on Wwwwombat was because he was the only one who didn't vote but FOS'd instead.  His play from that point on convinced me to keep it there.  Not just answering my own questions, but his whole deal.  When you vote someone and they further show strong signs of being scum, does it make sense to UNVOTE them?

Third:  Why isn't any part of your post above directed at JackD or Nolder? I appreciate the attention you are giving me...I am flattered, but shouldn't we be more concerned with two blokes who jump on a bandwagon the moment the Mod posts a deadline?

I don't get it.

*scratches head* ....um town?  What do you mean?

Hence baguette?  The baguette comment was a nod to Lenlofinger's game where he got that siggy.  I went back and read that game.  Looked like crazy fun, but everyone kept saying Hence...baguette.  I thought I'd make that joke here.  Sorry if it didn't go over well.

That wasn't a hint at which ancient group I am from.  I prefer mutton and grog over stale bread.
