@verb like you said it's not the most powerful role, and saying you'll probably die is lame and you know it. If your a witch and don't get night killed then you have set up your lynch for the next day with the double vote. If your a townie. The witches would just keep you alive to push your lynch next day using your own logic. I'm not liking this play at all.

Sounds like a lose-lose scenario for me, then. Why so against it?

Technically speaking there's nothing in the rules against character/role hinting/claiming...

I couldn't even do that. I haven't played enough games to know how my person (or any of the people, for that matter) plays.

Ok, I do not know where you are going with this. Are you accusing me of being mafia? 'Cause that's the only way I could know. If you are, do back it up with some reasons instead of a FoS disguised as a joke.

Two problems with that.

1 there's no doc

2. Only angel protects

3. Witches have an unstoppable kill.

I agree a normal townie would want it to themselves. However Lily's willingness to give it you have it unbeknownst to your alignment (assuming she's a townie) would be reckless. Lily isn't reckless.

I can tell it's changed. I'm happy for it. Most recent games I've been in town nailed scum day I age a lot can be learned and day 1 scum is most likely to make a slip.

There's the Mish Save. Granted, it's a one-off thing.

If we do give it, considering points already bought up about being a target, do we give it instead to a less..... expert player? Perhaps not a newbie, needs to have experience i guess. For example giving it to me or len (i think we have been playing about the same length of time tho one is better then the other) rather then a Wombat or Verb, who are very good scumhunters.

They are also much harder to pick when they are mafia so we could be tricked by them more easily then a "lesser" player.

Also we really do need to think about this cause if the person survives to endgame that role becomes very powerful

oh and no I do not want it.

At this point, I'm thinking my vote could go to either Verbal or Wombat. Both seem town so far. We'll see. We have a long day one, right?

This is gonna get seriously confusing. Luckily it's only D1 :P

Other than that I'm here and reading. Not much have jumped on me yet that hasn't already been pointed out. Finding it interesting that Verb first writes "why don't you read the rules?" and then refers to the doc in the game.

And Lens comeback [to the whole "hunting-for-himself"-thing] with "No see this is one of those Light side v Dark side things going on. Hero fights his evil half to better understand himself you dig? Now I just gotta figure out which of us is the evil one >.>" is strange. Could it be you got yourself and decided to put on a show? Together with "What and play this game like its supposed to be? Pfft." Len is so far the most suspicious to me.
