I recommend everyone read up on the soup mechanic.  Because of this mechanic it is very important for townies not to tip, hint at, or reveal their roles..  We should still stop before lynching someone to allow a last defense, but forcing a true roleclaim will be as good as killing a townie.  And if the scum ever figure out all of our roles, they can end the game in one night.  It is important that we very carefully consider our actions in this game as outing power roles is much, much more dangerous than usual.  Traditional scumhunting will be vital.

This is really an awesome group of players. The real players, I mean, not the fake ones. Although the fake ones are pretty cool too ;)

Morning *yawns*

Ok Im confused by lynch rules. So if everyone has placed a vote say within the first two hours of a game day, day ends? Whst happens if there's a tie, is that when the Verb role kicks in?

If the hammer was cast then yes. But I guess a tie is impossible in that case. As I understand, all this means is that hammers don't count until there are players who didn't cast a vote. Not a clue what good this rule is tho.

It's more just experimental. I'm a fan of the recent trend of trying out various new lynch formats (as long as they aren't so different to be hampering to town as a mechanic).

Plus, I didn't really wanna go with the original lynching format, which was basically a deadline vote. Don't think most around here are fans of deadline games.

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

Yeah, I am really impressed with the player pool I got for this one, especially with it being a smaller game. Can't wait!

As for the fake players, they all originally had names of peeps from another site. I felt it would be kinda fun to change the names to DM personalities that sort of fit the roles hehe.

I'm taking full credit for the hybrid lynch system many mods used now.  I was doing it before it was cool.

Of course, but you have to start somewhere. Townie post doesn't = townie.

Agreed. Mostly just riffing till day starts. I'm dead in all my games so wanna get this started.

If anyone would know it would be you

So you think both of us are scum again?

And Cloud can be the 3rd, somehow. Even though he's not playing.
