I disagree. I think here's what happened.

 

1. All kinds of peeps were like "We love you Despot! Be Hydraz wif me!" n I was like chill, Verbal's my bro.

2. Errone be like " What a fantastic pairing!" "Lol we should lynch em!" "LOL NO we should vig them! LOL" in the signups

3. Game starts. Verbal and I drop wicked-awesome sauce on everyone.

4. A couple of people vote Team YOLOHASHSWAG. Turin was one of them.

5. Verbal calls Turin out for going after the "easy" lynch. As in cause people had already discussed lynching us. In that way we were sorta low-hanging fruit as well as fodder for those wanting to big game hunt.

6. Turin be like "WHOA! Someone is OVERdefensive buzzword buzzword buzzword!

7. I came in and saw Turin's scumclaim

 

HENCE ==> Turin tried turning a joke vote that wasn't really a joke vote but a scum park vote disguised as a joke vote that Turin later tried to turn into a real vote, fos'ing Verbal.

It was a double nudge too. The old "I think one of them is mafia, but not sure which". That leads to either lynching two town or them suddenly dropping their teammates lower on the mafia list.

Ok so he first unvoted without voting for one of his scum reads which he thinks is either team WiFum or team Yolo. Like Turin said this move is often performed by mafia's who will either try to get two townies lynched or save a teammate. It's even scummier than normal because he didn't bother to vote for any of them. He also appears to be getting scummy vibes from RTE and Lenlo but again doesn't do anything with it and doesn't explain how it would fit into his other two scum reads. And lastly he lists teams HaXorz, J-TAG and CRUNK as neutral but doesn't give his opinion about the other teams. Are they neutral too or town?

With the last, are you saying that Verb was not emotional at all? that he was "playing it cool"? Trying to use words that would indicate that he didn't have a problem being voted?

 

Someone else also noted the line that this is all a distraction from "what we should be doing". How can that be? This is D1 where it is vital to get as many people talking about as many people as possible to try to pin them down as to who they think the mafia are. Trying to keep yourself out of the fray is a big ping to me. It means that you likely have something to hide.

From what I've read, it reads to me that Yolo and WiFum is town on town.  Both teams are very skilled players, and scum could easily stand back and let them pick at each other.  I find the nudge-no-vote from Straw Hats scummy because that's what I used to do,  I was always afraid to actually vote, but I'd poke at people.

*Side Note* using a joke vote to stimulate conversation and to apply pressure is always a good thing day one. Not sure why everyone is bent out of shape.
