30 pages in, what I've noticed so far:

Time for the more serious scumhunting.

I'll be watching team WiFum and Yolo... one of you is scum, but i haven't figured out which one.... tending more towards WiFum for the moment.

Need to see more of teams HaXorz, J-Tag and CRUNK to make up my mind about them... neutral for the moment.

i get a scummy vibe off of Release The Leno.... 

will be reading and re-reading this weekend, little short on time past 24 hours.

I don't want to say it, because I've had a town read on Yolo, but a lot of times as scum  I know they'll pick a partner and someone they're bickering with and say they think one of them is mafia, and then list their partner as the townier of the two.

i think lily might be on to something with swaghags and wifum being towny violence. Unfortunately turin and des will fall into their old ways again distract from actual scum hunting.

 

on the other hang #Vote RTE Nudges are bad kids. That goes to you as well thane. You being a bit new and all if your gonna call out have the players for being scum take a stance and vote one. how else do you expect to scumhunt. 

Amega voting RTE makes me feel a little better about him, actually.

 

 

 

Ok so I went through the thread twice thinking there were more read lists, but only 2. Let's see what we have here.

 

Personal thoughts so far:

 

WiFuM (Ithi, Turin) and YoloHashSwag (Despo, Verbal): had the feeling something was going on between the two of them. Their little struggle ceased (for the moment) and now there's interaction between WiFum and Evil Siblings. Most active hydra around, questioning, probing, getting information.

 

YoloHashSwag (Despo, Verbal) expect to see more when the weekend is done. Interesting posts to read.

J-TAG (AJ, TG): not enough to form an opinion, null read.

PFG (Pralaya, BFG): Not a huge amount of posts, but the ones i read seem to be well thought of.

Release the Leno (RTE, Lenlo) lots of fun and games, but i'd like to have some real input for once. Backing Amega in the vote against them

Sexy Sisters (Tina, Leelou) Uncommented votes, absence? Not feeling too great about them. Waiting for a train to pass and jump on?

CRUNK (Monk, CoryCurren) not around, and if, then unserious posting, lurking in the shadows? Didn't have a good explanation from them on their vote. Might as well be waiting on the same train.

Spliffanity (Krak, Dap) not around enough to form an opinion, null read

Clarthe (Cloud, Darthe) Little drama in the beginning of the game, then things calmed down. Maybe also because of the weekend.

Evil Siblings (Lily, Jack) Had a little thing going on between them and myself. Gett he feeling it was more probing and questioning than anything else. Questioning, after all, is good.

 

Straw Hats (Amega, Thane) I'm not going to comment on my own hydra. Yes, you are. NO, i'm NOT! *drowns inner voices in belgian beer*

HaXorz (Hally, Xthrax) going for an easy lynch when voting against us i think.

Random thoughts on teams so far...

 

#swag:(verb/Des); verb reacted a bit much to my vote being the second on him. he was even kinda snippy at the MOD about the voting rules there. trying to flip it back on me is bogus. Despo has been talking a bunch of mess so far so without anything to aleviate the bad I am putting them in the mafia stack.

 

J-TAG(AJ/TG): been fairly quiet in a loud way. hope they bring some actual content soon.

 

PFG (Pral/BFG): All Fluff. Expect more soon. 

 

RTL (RTE/Lenlo): Lenlo being very mormal jokey self. RTE comments are a little pingy. starting with the game spec just before day started and ending with his reactions to Ithi questioning his nudge. Ithi thinks is likely mafia so I can agree, even if I rather vote Verb/Des ATM

 

SS (Tina/Leelou) : the vote back and forth between #swag and clarthe was odd. As is the fact that Leelou basically is not giving any reasons for her votes. People that don't want to give reasons have a reason for that. It makes it easier to backtrack from a position that was never really stated. Her defense of Verb/Des was completely for non-game reasons "they are so cute". It is basically a non-reason which seems to be a trend. Leaning mafia here ATM.

 

Crunk (Cory/Monk): Cory is following his #alliance theme that he used as 3rd party in the star wars game. Basically having given his vote to his buddies V/D. Bad look to me. Monk has been quiet for the most part only really engaging in saying hello to Lily that I recall. I expect more from someone calling themselves GOAT.(maybe it is in lurking)

 

Spliffanity (Krak/Dap): Don't really remember very much about them except they picked the wrong name, LOL. Oh, they were in the cloud pile on too. Did they vote Clarthe?

 

Clarthe (Darthe/CLoud): Darhte says Lily is mafia in his first post, never votes her. Also says verb is obvtown. rubbish. Has overridden Cloud's #swag vote to vote RTL.   Cloud has caught a bunch of heat for asking for a reason from Leelou for her vote on them. Lots of people taking that opportunity to pile on him. Seems more an issue of why Leelou not want to explain her reason for voting. If is no reason or was for reaction then say so and let people judge it for what it is worth. I do find it ironic that CLoud chose to call me frantic when that is a word that most would be applying to him for the way he is about Leelou. Personally I didn't see it that way which makes it perhaps even more ironic.

 

Evil Sibs (Jack/Lily) placeholder vote of #11 by Jack after Lily telegraphed it during night. Lily had something odd but I will need to go back and check. Jack playing very much like I just saw him in the hunger games? game I think. He did nudge very professionally tho so I will defer to Ithi's judgement there. 

 

Straw Hats (Amega/Thane) Amega pre voted #swag during night but never followed up with it. In fact he asked me a question about wether I really think they are mafia or if I was just brash. (the answer is both, lol) the double nudge post from Thane has me thinking that they could well be mafia and on a team with verb/des. bears very much further watching.

 

HaXorz (Hallia/X) : Not enough to go on. maybe once X gets back and if Hallia does get more involved.

So I was hoping to see a pattern here (and thought there was at least a third reads list, but not much of one. These will be interesting if we get a flip on either team though. While Turin refrains from saying he thinks anyone is town outright, he does provide the scum to town list.

 

Of the two lists, I do find Thane's less informative and much more fence-sitting in the language he is using. Also says he doesn't want to speak for Amega in an attempt to not further elaborate? As of yet hasn't answered Ithi's request to rank teams based on scummyness. I would be interested to see his list as his reads seem indecisive. Turin has less town reads it seems but looks confident about his scum reads. Problem is a lot of people haven't made enough game-content posts to make much of them, so can't really make too much of the numerous null reads.

 

So now I'll try to make a reads list, hopefully better than some of my recent ones, although this game has been a bit all over the place and gameplay has been interrupted quite a bit more than usual IMO.

 

WiFuM (Ithi, Turin) - Very, very aggressive. Ithi is on her game while Turin is still on his "new meta". Seems he lets Ithi be Churchill the bulldog and he's more like.. France? Interesting dynamic between the two of them in terms of types of posting. Turin deferring to Ithi in some instances and if I had to guess she would be the one wearing the pants in this hydra. Ithi  playing her normal unforgiving game. Solid town read right now. Problem is if any team can have as solid a scum game as town game I would pick them with Despo/Verbal second. But right now I'm definitely going with Town.

 

YoloHashSwag (Despo, Verbal) - A bit quiet as of late, which between the two of them is very odd. Not really making a splash yet really, which I really find bizarre given the two of them. Weekend has killed most activity but these two are usually fairly more vocal and strong with their convictions. So far looks town to me but not very sure about them. Both of them will likely give us a lot more to work with come tomorrow.

 

J-TAG (AJ, TG) - AJ has been pretty quiet and TG, while relatively active, hasn't given much of substance. Null read here.

 

PFG (Pralaya, BFG) - BFG is much quieter this game than in a recent one. I'll attribute it to the weekend but if it doesn't change I'll look here. Pral is usually more in the fray of things too but again pretty absent. Going with a null read here thus far but this is a hydra to watch.

 

Release the Leno (RTE, Lenlo) - RTL are (is?) town.

 

Sexy Sisters (Tina, Leelou) - Feels like the ladies are buying time after some not so pretty play. I feel like the strategy here is "If we don't post long enough people will forget the things we did that look really scummy". Not fond of the voting then poofing. Scum lean on these two. Should expect a lot more from these two and so far they've been holding out. Their next posts will be very telling.

 

CRUNK (Monk, CoryCurren) - These two confuse the hell out of me personally. Haven't played with either of them and can't make much of their posts. Don't remember anything  meaningful about their game thus far. Their bark is much bigger than their bite right now and if they are as great as they claim to be they need to put their money where their mouths are. Null read.

 

Spliffanity (Krak, Dap) - Really oddly quiet given who these two people are. Come back to the light guys. Null. Really need to hear more from these  guys.

 

Clarthe (Cloud, Darthe) - I have trouble reading Cloud because Cloud plays a very reactive game. Caught a lot of flak for how he reacted to the vote against him but that is his usual attitude. That being said, he hasn't looked great since either. Darthe is Darthe. What you see is what you get. And that isn't much at all. Scum lean right now.

 

Evil Siblings (Lily, Jack) - Lily is another one I struggle with. She didn't react great to Ithi pressure but I wouldn't have reacted very differently to be honest. Not sure what to make of Jack. Supposed to be some mafia pro but haven't really seen it yet. If anything I think the interaction with Ithi and Turin makes Lily town. She was frustrated rather than angry, and that's understandable when you're town with Ithi breathing down your neck. I'm going with a town read.

 

Straw Hats (Amega, Thane) - Haven't liked Amega's play really thus far. Not a lot of content behind his posts or his votes. Thane has given us a lot more to work with. His list is a little less decisive than I would have liked but it's tough with activity being what it is the last couple of days. His somewhat exclusive town lean on

 

PFG is interesting. Something to bear in mind if we get a flip on either of them. Only other hydra other than their own they seemed to believe was town. Going with a null read right now.

 

HaXorz (Hally, Xthrax) - I trusted Hallia too much last game and won't make the same mistake. She has been playing as usual but I don't like the absences. I agree with Thane that her vote was a fairly easy one. Eager to have X back and see what he has to say. And for Hallia to get back in here.

I don't find Amega/Thane overly scummy for any reason. Thane's post read more newbish to me, and I doubt he would be so freely joking around on thread if he had an internalized guilt. I actually liked Amega's post early on where he is pointing out Turin's instant scumread on Verbothera, which we can all expect as mandatory at this point.

 

Think Hallia's vote on Straw Hats was a bit scummy.

Clarthe is looking worse to me.

Really hate to do this since I have the feeling that ES was the only protective role in the game but with SH down I think we're doing okay. For those who are wondering Tg and I agreed after getting our role to play it a bit safe on D1. I kept some of my reads close to chest and intentionally muddled some so that I wouldn't tip off the scum team that I was onto them. Obviously by questioning the SH wagon I was way off, but not much I can do there at this point

My first reaction is to not buy the claim.

 

He's acting like its guaranteed now that he won't be lynched (I'll reveal my viewing once night starts). He put in some bizarre stuff about them playing stuff close to the chest that looked forced to me. And he puts out another reads list along with his claim... that seems forced as well.

 

I also don't get what the point is of not revealing his viewing last night if he plans on revealing it after the lynch. To me it just looks like him trying to look coy about his results when there's no point.

 

My vote stays for now. I think J-TAG has been in flail mode this past day and is now desperation claiming cop to fish out the real one. Scum is on the ropes now, no reason to let them up

Another desert planet… 

 

Sand and dunes all around. Shepard had decided to land on this hellhole, 

a planet Garrus had never heard of before. The Fifth Fleet of the Alliance had requested help once 

again, even though Shepard could now follow his own path and not answer to the human 

military. Some soldiers had gone MIA. Their last mission had sent them here to investigate a 

distress beacon. But it didn’t look like anyone could have survived in this infernal heat. There 

were no cities; no Council race had dared to colonize this place. 

After long hours of searching, the beacon was finally in sight. Everyone descended the 

Hammerhead to check out the first debris that surrounded it. 

Further and further the team searched and looked for traces of what had happened on this spot. It 

was a hard work. Then the ground shifted, it trembled more and more, till a huge sand worm 

appeared in the blink of an eye. 

 

Never did Garrus see his end coming, but so it did in the form of a poisonous gooey substance 

coming straight form the fanged mouth of the sand worm.
