How come? Isn't coroner reports towns number one advantage at finding mafios? One uncoronered dead player and we'll have no knowledge of how many is left, nor any clues regarding said players play so far, votes etc? As far as I can see, better two dead confirmed town than one unconfirmed dead?

 

 

Modkills don't have to be no-coroner and not lmuch info is gained from lynching an inactive usually.

Lily isn't confirmed town, but basically LOCK CLEAR after her last minute hammer. Tinfoiling about that can wait till endgame.

 

Lenlo is practically confscum with the way he tied up the trains and then the goofy little distancing attempt him and Cloud had that was adorable.

 

Not sure how the lynch makes me feel on Nolderp, that might be a good thing to look for in my reread tomorrow night when I go back to work.

 

I will offer this bit of tinfoiling- Cloud seemed to have no problem tying himself to Amega, and neither interacted directly with the other even tho they were both heavily involved with back and forth involving the other. Not a good sign, and I also noticed how both seemed to want to link themselves to me a lot. In the case that Amega is scum, then Dap obv looks suspect for trying to clear him- but town!Dap would also prob try and clear someone using VC's after a scum flip.

 

And Wombat and Nol are right, Vos. A modkill for any inactives would be a boon for town unless it's endgame or something. It's less people to have to worry about trying to get a read on.

Oh really? Really? Out of the gate thats the best you got? Your gonna call me conscum cause I voted for someone I thought was scum and then switched to a real scum to consolidate while the entire time you were pushing and voting for the same person I tied it up with? Wombat I have a town feel. I've said multiple times.

 

Feeling good about dap aswell.

 

Desp is a different story. Really don't like him confirming lily as town. She hammered a scum, but the lynch was basically secure and cloud was gunna be the lynch so by no means is her hammer vindicating. I don't like that idea and don't like that post.

 

Lenlo seems scummy for tying up the trains when he said he was basically voting to consolidate. So he said one thing did another. I might have to do a reread on cloud from my computer to see how people reacted around our confirmed scum and to see what our confirmed scum said about trains, replacements, votes and cases. ^^ fun times

Because of when you were acting all curious about what me and Ice's thoughts were, you sounded kinda suspicious for some reason...kinda like you were trying to make yourself seem...I'm not really sure how to describe it.

Well the reason she (and I) asked so many questions is that we haven't heard much from the person you're replacing so we're eager to get some kind of a read on you and your relation (if any) to other players. It's also helpful to have fresh eyes look at older arguments to maybe catch something others missed.

 

As for your brother, again aside from saying hi he hasn't really said anything else.

How obvious do you expect him to be if he's mafia? Just flat out say it?

The best way to keep a secret is to not say anything right? And I'd say he's on that track so far.

He'd basically repeatedly come up to me saying "I'm not the mafia. I promise I'm not the mafia. So don't vote me because I'M NOT THE MAFIA!"

What does "trying to clear" mean, exactly? I'm still new to this..

 

Clear can mean a few different things with varying degrees of validity.

Basically clear generally means that you are accepted as "not a bad guy".

It doesn't need to be a sure thing or indisputable. For example most of us right now are considering Wombat clear just through his actions even though we don't really have any assurances that he really is a townie. He basically started and saw through a lynch on a mafia member. While that's not 100% proof he's not mafia it would be a big risk for his team to do that in most cases so you can be reasonably sure Wombat isn't part of the mafia, at least for the time being.

We're all very curious to hear your thoughts about pretty much everything.

And the longer you dangle giving us what we want without actually following through the less patient we're all going to get.

I understand that you're new but let's work through this together ok? It's ok to make mistakes, even the best of us make them often.

Your worst mistake will be being afraid to make any mistakes and not really playing.

 

So, even though I don't think there's anything to your suspicion of Lily let's at least verbalize it.

Would you say perhaps she was trying to lead you into a certain way of thinking? Guide you maybe?

That could be suspicious. Mafia will always try to manipulate townies and sometimes that comes on an individual level.

For example if I was mafia I could ask town Lily what she thinks of town Jack in the hopes that she'll say some that rubs him the wrong way and starts a fight between them that might eventually lead to one or the other being lynched without having to take the lead on it myself and being implicated. This is how mafia poke and prod, looking for weaknesses to exploit.

 

Please try to describe this feeling you have better and in your own words.

It's very important. Not just for this game but for any future games you play.

It's something you'll need to be able to do or people are just going to dismiss you out of hand and/or lynch you early because they don't value your input.

Well, it certainly turns everything abit upside down. It means I will have to re-read being more "forgiving" for different playstyles, and metas I don't know.

 

My thoughts on your "missrepping" in itself has not changed - and I'm generally not a fan of it - but I'll admit you look pretty townie now, so I'll readjust my thoughts on your motives behind it ;)

 

Not sure atm. Will carry on my re-read in the light of the flip once day breaks to see who sticks out. Cloud did a intensive job buddying me, maybe someone else? My top reads were the first on the Cloud-train anyways, so everything I thought here will have to be reconsidered.

Then a second train is built on Vos -> Wombat votes against him as he's supposed to have voted for weak reasons. But he said nothing about Des, nor Cloud at first. Wombat is followed by Jack on his vote against Vos (for opportunistic band wagoning). Lilly joins in and votes against Vos. Dap voted Vos too. I still see nothing about Des and i think it weird. The vote of wombat is quite timely as it starts a train against Vos but why picking him instead of CLoud or another.

The Higgs boson, the particle representation of the Higgs scalar field, is what gives mass to all of matter.  Without the Higgs there would be no mass and therefore no gravity.  The discovery of the Higgs had been a revolution in the minds of the people, and had done a lot to aid in getting rid of public misconceptions  Unfortunately for all, sometimes people see what they expect to see instead of what actually exists.  Confirmation bias is something to be avoided at all costs in science as good science is that which takes into account all data.  In the case of the Higgs, maybe it was just confirmation bias and was never really there in the first place.  One by one, everyone began to suspect the Higgs never existed in the first place, maybe it was only there because it was what they had expected to see.

So far in I'm leaning Des, if nothing else than his defense of me and Cloud. I'm pretty sure scum was on Jacks train and not mine, and that they hoped I would get lynched and could "ride my flip" and go after Jack etc. On page 14 in the re-read now, will conclude with a reads list. So far neither Des or Amega looking too good, but I'm leaning more towards Des now.
