Meh, methinks it was just a wording thing - I'm not seeing this as a slip.  But I do have an issue with Amega's viewpoint on fishing.

And pray, it very well could be a possibility that sectors change that was a thing in the movie.. You fished because WOT didnt give those details in his post.. if he wanted to share i think he could have with out your assistance. 

 

Fishing for a town PR is not the same thing as fishing for information re: the sectors and what happens.  Salami was looking for as much info on it as he could, and he was town.  I want to know it as well - if when endgame rolls around, the remaining townies can use this to possibly predict/identify mechanics in play, it can never hurt.

 

I feel like you're latching onto the fishing as if it was a rolefish, which is bad.  What Pral is doing is fish for info - in this game, it is good.

For easy reference - The bell:

What we seem to know:

• The bell tolls every 24 hours. (fact)
• It seems that the number of screams indicates the number of people affected (speculation)
• It seems that the same zone gives the same effect to everyone, everytime (speculation, based on the 1st and 4th toll)
• It seems that the zone gets selected with simple randomness (speculation, but the data fits a simple 1/12)
• It seems that the players affected get selected independently, with 1/12 chance (speculation, but the 3/0/2/2/2/0 fits that just fine - ofc it could fit a lot of things but this is the simplest

Getting back to the game.

 

Towns so far:

Vos - I initially thought he was scum with his distancing to Darthe. But, he counter-claimed tracker and i don't see any other way other than town. Dap suggested a gambit but it is far fetched

Len and TG - claimed masons. Not going into wifom now. Can be sorted, if necessary, by NAs. But, I believe their claim.

 

Vos and Len have been the most active people in the game and looking at the way it is going, the scum seems to be lurking hard.

 

Among others,

Darthe - Started with his wifom, distractive claim. Had a lot of posts D1 but since then is sparse. His lack of activity D2 doesn't really go along with his scum meta. Leaning town.

Verbal - has been sick D2. His responses on the topic of getting to know the setup has seemed town-friendly. Got a similar town feeling on D1.

Xthrax - His "sorry, I missed the deadline" doesn't exactly look good. Called out csarmi for his reads D1, which seems abrupt. Not a lot of post and currently leans scum.

Krak - Goes after Csarmi D1. Nudges Xthrax, me and Lenlo in one post and votes TG. Slight scum read for the nudge but his responses sound genuine. I don't necessarily categorize  his vote on TG as scummy - it is the people who sheeped that are the focus.

Hallia - She claimed her wedge during the first time which seemed like a town thing to do. Her only post D2 has been her sheep vote on TG. Not much to go on but that is Hallia. Null read

Monk - Not much on him. He has a few comments here and there. What is interesting is that he has not voted even once in the game. Null.

Amega - Claims his wedge effect D1, calls out Krak for his nudges but then goes ahead and sheep votes TG anyway after "liking" Krak's responses. And, after TG is more or less confirmed town, starts off with a flimsy case on me and claims it was to get reactions.. Leaning scum

Rhea - One more in the "sorry, i missed the lynch" crowd but to be fair, she had come before the actual deadline . Anyway, she is replaced and waiting for Tress to show up.

Wheeloftime - Hasn't really had a lot of posts. Not liking her lurking. Null tell

Dap - Liked his occasional casing and scum hunting. One of the few who has actually made good cases throughout the game. Leaning town.

 

Of the ones, Amega seems to be the most scummy. I don't like his late push on me, which is looking to be opportunistic. His U-turn on krak and sheep voting him is really bad.

Oh crap, that's right - I was affected by a wedge over the weekend.  I don't know which "scream" was me, though - wasn't online.  But I took 1 less to lynch for 24 hours.  Maybe I'm in the unknown group of people that haven't revealed their wedge effect yet?

This claim may or may not be accurate and has no more weight than a claim of town, but let us postulate on what affect it has to make a legitimate null claim with a negative stigma associated with it rather than a positive.

The post that started the game. Darthe I agree that you have achieved what you stated as what you intended-to jump start the game & to get reactions. But I feel that a less chaotic-at-best start would have been. It started the game all right but not in a good way. Now there are two ways to look at it.

 

1. You as town just meant to start the game but chose the most chaotic way to do so. The best thing is to ignore it and go along with that game has started.

2. You as scum decided to go for a big gamble and stated outright that you were scum. Confusion was spread but most after commenting that it was bad way to start ignored it with no one voting you. But if you were scum this achieved the intent that you had-not be voted very early, cause confusion and be dismissed for a while.

 

This has caused considerable confusion but has also garnered reactions. It is a case of wifom-have you or have you not been telling the truth.

 

What am I going to do for now-it doesn't warrant enough for a outright suspicion on you but yes it will do good to see what follows.
