Anyone else find it funny that Wombat fos'd Dap for voting TG for competing trains (and supposedly ditching responsibility for his vote), and yet he swaps to the TG train because of even moar dubious reasons? Switching trains because you don't want to share it with some of your scum reads implies that you also might be self-conscious of how others perceive you, which is an obvious scum trait.

I agree that Lenlo's reads list was probably the least useful one put forth in this game so far

 

Also agree that Wombat is all over the place and with him moving off Pral I think he could die and I wouldn't lose sleep even if I was wrong

 

Could use some thoughts on BFG's updated reads; I think it looks good for her; the thought process on Dap has too many "what ifs" for mafia to convincingly make IMO, I just want more real time participation

I'm not any better today and had some disturbing RL things happen to boot, and I'll have to catch up from where I posted last night. Can someone sum up the Pral case for me while I read up please? I see he's gotten alot of votes since I was read up. I don't like asking for it, but we are close to deadline and I could need a bit of help here.

In a nutshell:

 

-Has been completely removed from the flow of the thread

-Hopped on Des wagon when Des had the most votes because "only scum Des votes this many people" (seriously)

-Has 4 hard scum suspects and everyone else is obvious town, but when prompted he can't recall who they are

-Is just lolcatting at this point with some of the goofiest AtE I've seen

 

And from my own personal experience with him, he became obvitown right away when he was town in the just-ended Star Wars game

 

In this game it's like he read a "for dummies" book on how to look the most conspicuous out of everyone in a thread

And my phone deleted the entire post I had written up. Great. Not doing that again.

 

Here's the cliffs:

 

1. He had a bizarre convo on page 3 with Salami that was utterly pointless and ended up soft pushing Des at the end of that page

 

2. He then disappears until Page 21 where his first game related actions are to:

-Defend himself from people who got suspicious of his lack of contribution

-Made a gibberish "case" for why Des is mafia because Des voted too many people and that's what he does as mafia (so purely a meta read) RIGHT AS DES IS TOP WAGON

 

3. He keeps talking to us like he wants to "tell" us Des is scum but not develop a real case for why that is or try to figure out Des's alignment apart from his weak "scum Des votes a lot" meta reasoning

 

4. He's been basically lolcatting since then and saying how there's scum on his wagon

 

So we've got a severe lack of participation, a severe lack of reasoning, a severe lack of trying to figure out other people's alignments, a severe interest in self defense over commenting on thread events, and and now severely laughable attempts at appeal to emotion defenses.

 

So, as you can see: severely scum.

I agree with Tommy that at this point I just want a flip to work with. We have a big D1 with lots of posturing and interactions to look back on. Even lynching a possible townie at this point will get us closer to #gamesolve and #endgame
