Checking in.  Game isn't even half a day old and already almost 10 pages?  This is gonna be fun :-)

 

Only two things worth commenting on.  CS's play is crap, but I'm leaning town because I've seen it from him before.  The spam is over the top tho.

 

Has Tommy played here before?  Because he and Des are tops on my list for scum.  I agree with Nol that posting spammity spam and lurking are anti-town.  Tommy and Des both seem to be purposely misunderstanding what Nol is saying and painting it as a black or white type thing.  Des at least shouldn't be purposely misunderstanding this as he is a DM vet.

 

Scummy scummy OP. "This is gonna be fun :-)" = scumslip. Someone got too excited when reading their role pm and checking into their QT.

Underlined: It's more about how Nolderp presented it. He immediately voted for Tommy for spam, then switched to a bandwagon on Salami for spam, then immediately gauged the room about lynching all lurkers.

 

 

The speed with which he presented two diff avenues for pursuing lynches does seem mega scummy, and you defending him for that and saying I am deliberately misunderstanding him shows you to be his scumbuddy.

 

Incidentally "posting spammy spam" is null, not really antitown. While it can be a pita, it's just as easily an obnoxious townie as it is scum trying to derail the thread and make rereads harder. I agree lurking is antitown, but as Tommy mentioned, Nolder didn't even give the game time to breathe yet before suggesting lynching lurkers. There may have not even been any to begin with. I certainly would have done my best to keep any from lurking, but that discussion is best saved for later in the game when the players who ARE lurking are well known.

Looks like the same avenue to me.  Trying to gauge scum by looking at people who are not posting within the norms, either too much or too little.  You're still purposely misunderstanding.

I find it hard to believe that only Des and I see why Nolder's "justifications" for voting people based on spam or lurking are completely flat. I agree with Des that this looks like a bad Nolder defense attempt.

 

Noldfish, I don't wanna get into a battle of semantics with you. You know why what you said is at best lazy, and at worst convenient scumscuses for voting people without having to actually counter their reasoning. Drop the high/low post count argument. What else have you seen in this game that you think is ping worthy or merits a vote? Who is on your radar?
