I think that quote is messed up a bit too. That was AJ's vote on X with tommy questioning him on it because he followed blindly. Peace's response about the question was to imply AJ(Hallia) was 3rd party. Now that Peace is dead that is a huge piece of WIFOM

Why would Peace breadcrumb his fellow Survivor?

vote Tina

That Monk train is bad. Seriously bad.

I don't disagree. I dislike TG's vote.

I have town reads on Csarmi, Pral, SP and Turin, but not many beyond that.

Corey, your case lacks substance, laughing it off and refusing to answer my questions won't really win you very many town points.

Csarmi- beyond your "gut feeling" vote, please give me your top 3 town and scum reads. Everyone else is welcome to play as well.

Hey Krak. Welcome to the game. What is the major thing that leads you to put Tommy down as not town?

Pral, what do you think about Despo this game?  As far as breadcrumbing AJ(Hallia) as his partner; it could be a true slip, could be him laying a false link. That is why i said it is a pile of WIFOM. I am not ready to say it is one or the other at this time.  About Monk, I think that was a bunch of made up junk in many cases. Sort of setting him up to be Blackhoof of WF.

Hallia , You said that you agree with Despo that character claims should not clear anyone in the game(at least in Csarmi's case) But in your read on Monk you have his play as scummy with a possible link to the dead 3rd party, but withholding  judgement because he has claimed Han Solo. that sounds inconsistent. So you would say that he isn't mafia but is 3rd party?.because that is the only thing he would likely be if he is linked to Peace.

I just read Tina and I don't really find much there. She was null on Nolder when he was getting run up hard. It would have been an easy vote to place if she was mafia even before he quit. Her posting about Csarmi wasn't showing her cards as others see it. Her vote on Monk is for what she characterizes as a slip where he interchanged mafia and town. Possible. I am leaning it was a mistake but I can see how she could see it otherwise.

My three non town reads at the moment are:

Des- for the bad csarmi case and the continued nudging at him. it looks like he is trying to force him into something. And his general wild flinging of FoS's all over without really being very dedicated to them.

Golden- subtle defense of Despo, He hasn't seemed too committed to his takes(except Csarmi which is null to me as it is coloured by emotion IMO)

Cory- pushed the Nol/X train hard when it might have died out. stating that there had been enough info gathered on D1. Also what looks like over buddying with Tommy. To me he is looking a lot like Cloud in the Christmas mentors game.

Finally back at work tonight, will start a reread in a moment. Def won't be finishing till after audit tho. Quick thoughts before I start-

I just do not at all get Tina's handling of me as a "scumread" of hers. She keeps pushing the same weak thing all game without ever really bringing anything new up, doesn't comment on how more recent posts of mine fit into her read of me, continues to fos and nudge me, then finally day starts and she votes elsewhere and doesn't mention me?

I personally think a Tina/Turin scum team is more than viable. Turin starts off with a vote on me first, for the same awful reasoning as Tina (seriously, don't know how many times it can keep getting pointed out that my initial case on Salami was exploratory like all of my cases early game are, town or scum), Tina tries to distance herself from Turin by voting elsewhere, even tho Turin is now soft-defending Tina. Feeling good about my read on both.

Hallia's catchup makes me feel slightly better about her slot, not much tho. Excited to see if we'll be seeing the new and improved Hobbit this game!

Monk still looks sketchy, and his posts and reactions to pressure don't look all that great, but I agree with the sentiment that those on his train stink as well, so not voting there atm.

Can't remember who else I was watching off the top of my head, but for now I will vote Tina, as she has seemed scummy to me all game and now presents a potentially good info lynch. I also think she's a prime candidate for what I would figure scum would be likely to do in response to Nolder yesterday- distanced herself from his lynch initially, didn't even mention it at first in fact, then bandwagoned later when it looked obvious he would be lynched.

Oh yeah wanted to comment on the GE situation as well- He's getting caught up in his swag. He laughs off the case on him from Cory, then fos's Cory for laughing off his response lol. And the asking for three reads thing seems gambity to me- scum can EASILY hide behind a "top three scumreads" list, and townies should do #work regardless of whether or not someone asks, but that #work can be anything that helps catch scum, not just giving your top three reads.

OH YEAH and the big thing I wanted to say earlier- why the hell is everyone freaking out about Peace? He flipped mason survivor, which is like the most innocuous of any not-town flips. Everyone is thinking we have to dig through his posts to look for stuff... why exactly? He likely did NOT breadcrumb his partner, cause that would be real dumb and Peace aint. And he wasn't mafia, so he wasn't really up to anything nefarious. His partner's options are obviously limited now as well, if he wants to throw his lot in with the scum team he'll still have to keep from getting viewed, and assuming he/she still tries to win with town, we'll know that if they claim the role at least exists. I really don't get what the big hub bub is there. I forgive some cause they're mebbe just excited about playing (like Hallia), but Turin posting his recap of Peace's posts looked EXTREMELY stinky to me and obviously fake scumhunting.

3. Peace, Talon Karrde, Third-Party Survivor Mason, killed N1 - Was cruising along, droping a lazy vote for Nolder and then called out cory for wifoming Monk's opening post that hadn't happened (worried about partner?  See quote below.) Also says he has a town read on Despo during the Night.

Monk has the worst OPs of all time as scum

He will like post a big catchup post instead cause I think that's his new scum meta - wait so that he can hide in a big content deprived multiquote

He'll show and say he was at school or winter baseball practice or something

But if he opens with "hey guys a new game this should be reel fun i am excite"

Just lynch ASAP

You just wifomed the hell out of his opening posts.

In fact, I think it is the other way round. He is not worried about Monk but looks more like he is trying to distance Cory. Peace has not had a lot of interactions with others - Andrej, Tommy, Cory comes to mind - but more than directly breadcrumbing his partner, I feel that he would try to distance him as early as possible. And, this post fits that bill. I know that this is all wifom, but given the choices I feel that Cory is more third party than others.

It is similar to intuiting that someone is town. It would narrow down the actual mafia suspects.

Okay but trying to find his partner to "clear" them off the list of potential suspects is going to be a pretty dubious undertaking... a Survivor just wants to live till the end, they'll do so with whichever team, and they wouldn't CC if a real scummer tried claiming their role most likely. So you could end up potentially "clearing" someone as town when they're really mafia, and increase the chances the other Survivor ends up putting their lot in with the mafia team.

More importantly, I don't think Peace would have really done anything to link himself to his partner in any way on thread, since their wincon is literally just staying alive. Would make no sense to make it easy for town to try and find his teammate if he was lynched or killed. I don't think analysis of Peace's posts will be very helpful at all. I think the whole thing is a giant distraction.

Semantics Pray... "clearing" ~ "narrow down the actual mafia suspects"

In one case you're clearing someone off the potential pool of suspects/lynch candidates

In the other you're... clearing someone off the potential pool of suspects/lynch candidates.

Catch my drift?

Point is, there is likely little to be gained from trying to comb through Peace's posts, either for his partner or his reads. Not saying you shouldn't do #work, but that townies should work smarter, not harder. Focusing on a third party flip like it will be this game's Rosetta Stone is a little silly.

What reactions town/mafia/third party should have to a third party dude getting NK'ed:

Town (early in game): "Meh. /shrug"

Town (late in game): "Sweet!"

Mafia : "Awh crap. Quick, wifom the thread and make a big deal out of the third party flip!"

Third Party : "(crickets)" - cause they'd know reacting in any way that could be seen as abnormal will possibly lead to them being outed

Actually, I don't think we should be looking for the survivors. Only the mafia should really care about that at this point (as they would want to avoid shooting them).

Except on Peace's read.

Peace has flipped as survivor. At this point of the game a survivor would make sure to scumhunt, I think. Even if they don't, they don't know who the maffiaz are so in that way their posts should be genuine.

Basel, would it be possible to get links to the final votes and/or day and night scenes in the OP or on of the other posts right at the start of the game?

I will do it when i get home tonight.

Not gonna be checking in much until this afternoon. I'm subbing for other teachers all day.

For now unvote

Han is indeed alive in this book and is rather important. I believe monks claim.

Will tune in after school.

I don't know what Blackhoof is, but if you want the novel on Monk I charge 29.99

Despot + Salami > thread

Seriously anyone doing a MASSIVE THREADHUNT for Peace stuff should shoot way up everyone's list as it's Mafia who are going to exaggerate third party here as well as find them so they know who NOT to NK. lolololol

Three players cone in without commenting on anything else going on.

Interesting.

Nolder, troll somewhere else.

#lolDespo

Man, you're totally off, but keep trying. If you're town, that is.

Re-reading, noted something slightly weird... Salami treating both Nolder and Des as if he knows they're town. We know now that Nolder was town, and Despot is >rand to be town IMO, so I'll see if there's more weird stuff like this as we go on. I thought Salami was more townish than not in general, but these odd statements combined with him character claiming almost immediately could be a bad sign. Will keep an eye Salami as I read up.
