I was in a bad situation because I took on one more game than I could handle, and I was mafia there in a tiny game, so I ended up bdly neglecting this one. I ended up replacing out of the other game, but I needed a bit of time to get back into this and fell back into my old bad D1 habits (it takes a lot of focus and energy for me to be the new and improved me on D1). Don't worry though, now I'm focused and ready and I won't let you off the hook that easily again if you do anything more that's suspicious ;) Because yes, I've still got my eye on you. Even though Leelou said we shouldn't read too much into scenes, I hardly believe it was a trigger. Des' single post at the time wasn't special in any way. It was not a specific number, he was not the first to quote, first to post a picture or any other normal trigger, AND Leelou posted 2-3 times after his last post, before she posted the scene where he died. So the fact that you kept trying to push the trigger-version pinged me, because it really seemed like you wanted to be the helpful townie... And also distract town with talk of triggers instead of focusing on finding mafia. And who does that? Oh yeah, mafia :)

After Lily's flip I'm much less confident in the strength of my scum reads on Peace and AVM, although they both had things that pinged aside from what I saw as strange interactions with Lily.  I'll put both of them on the back burner today and keep an eye out for more.

 

Meanwhile while scanning through today's posts I noticed a few things that I wanted to comment on, back with quotes in a jif (no, not JiF).

As mentioned, these were the two votes that changed momentum from potentially GE to Lily.  Pray at least explains his vote on Lily, really don't like peaces switch.

 
Ditto.  When I went back and saw the quick vote switch with no explanation and no comment on my reads/commentary, my skin crawled a bit.  
 

Good points on Mish, Pral.  I really don't like her not coming back to do much, if any, analysis.  I hadn't noticed all the nudging, but when you gather it all together like that, it does look suspicious.  
 
I'm not sure how to read GF.  He never posts a lot, so it's hard to figure him out.  I think all of the games I've played with him (granted, not very many), though, he's been town, so it makes me hesitant.
 
If I get a chance this evening, I want to look at Hallia's posts.  There aren't many there, either, and I don't like that she supposedly read and did a catch up, but then voted for Pral yesterday for virtually no reason and kept it there.

 
Re: Mish/Pral - I will have to go back and look at them both again.  There very well could be something there, but I'm not sure which one of them I am most uncomfortable with.
 
Re: GF - yeah, about 50% of the games where he takes heat for his lack of posting and offbeat statements, if he gets run up for it he ends up being cop or doc or something.  At least this time he's claimed vanilla.  >.<

Well,first of all, the lurking part was just a small portion of my case on you. You ignored the rest of the post which contained the main reasons why I find you scum. Good job.

 

Regarding the weak trigger case you are using on me, i pushed the trigger? Really? I had one post in the entire game where I mentioned it and one when I was answering Key. Both were before Darthe was day-killed. Both were AFTER Leelou clarified the scenes relevance. Even after Leelou clarified it during the context when Han Solo was being discussed, you are still thinking it matters? Wow.

H'ok, so I'm 16 pages in and I stopped at the death of Darthe to kinda break this up. I personally think the Des death could've been a town dayvig, but it seems to me that the hit on Darthe would more likely be a mafia or third party kill. Darthe had been wayyyy more active than he had been for a few games, and I wonder if he was being too spot on for someone, so they shut him up? I dunno if there is a way for mafia to have a day kill though.

Also, the only one who was voting Darthe was Ishy, so I think the chances of him being the person to shoot is unlikely.

 

 

I had to finish! Right now I'm thinking GE because of his sudden change of emotion right there. The GE I've played with stayed passionate throughout his game no matter what anyone said (Or maybe that was just rubbing wrong against other players o.O ) and possibly some newer players who might be intimidated by one of the two who were killed, like GF or Pral.

She did go back and comment like she said, so that's favorable. I wish there were more game related posts. As with GF, I find it really hard to read her since there isn't a lot to go on.

 

I don't like the fact that she fingers GE and says she is thinking of voting him, providing the reason for doing so, and then decides to vote pral because he's "as good as any of the other three". I also am not sure what three she means - there were more than three other people that had a vote on them.

Not trying to defend Pral, but this is a really interesting vote to me. I went back and looked at the vote counts, because I was curious and Pral voted for dice back before darthe was killed. At that time, darthe had more votes than dice.

 

His vote for Lily is also pretty early in the train, but you are correct in that he followed the larger train in that case.

I couldn't be bothered with deadling with a big multiquotepostmonster, so I replied to the parts I remembered. The rest I honestly felt was made up and weak... You state I "nudge! people without voting them", when I stated who I was suspicious of (Dice, you, Lily, in that order) and I followed up on it; I voted Dice first, when someone clarified his claim for me I moved over to you. Then alot of discussion started going and I was interested in a) seeing if you'd participate in that, and b) everyone else participating. I didn't have a strong opinion on the main subjects; I commented on the things I felt interested in, and in the meantime I didn't see anything that made me want to move my vote before deadline and consolidation. You say I "nudged" on GE; is it wrong now to point out questionable things? I saw it as weird he placed a jokevote on page 9 when the game was well and truly started. You also say I dropped Dice and that's somehow scummy; well Chewbacca is one of the maybe 4 names I've heard, and people said he was def a good guy. As for Lily, I kept an eye on her, didn't see anything that stuck out enough for me to move my vote from you.

 

So your case is I had a hard time catching up and posted to show that I felt bad about it, that I was nudging people without following up (even though I voted the two people I said I was most interested in), that I pointed out suspicious behaviour in people without voting (because everyone throws a vote on people every time they see something slightly suspicious? Erhm, no. That's why we have things like FoS) and that somehow makes me scum... I don't know who's post is weak, but it sure aint mine.
