Omg so many WoT fans

Having never actually met or talked to another WoT fan, I was quite excited to see how many "new member" topics were in here. So many people to talk to about the WoT! I haven't managed to get a copy of New Spring yet, and I have not yet read AMoL because I don't want the series to end, but I've read all the others something like 12 times. I probably should have joined one of these sites sooner but I've never been one for joining forum websites - I am just going crazy without someone to talk about WoT with, and my friends (who don't read much of anything) are sick of hearing me spout the Old Tongue and ramble about the WoT world.

Don't worry, you can spout as much WoT related things as you want and no one will mind. Most of us know what it is like to have no one to talk to about WoT.

 

I am usually not much for forums but I am addicted to DM forums. The people here are really nice, always willing to help you and don't mind if you make mistakes. Social Groups are a good place to hang out and make friends.

It seems like I read my intro. The people here are great and you can even join all the Social Groups, or do a role-play. There are no limits and you can have tons of fun. I belong to the WT Social Group, the Black Tower and the RP community - you see sky is the limit , besides my real-life friends don't read and same story like you.

You may want to be careful in the discussion forums to avoid spoilers of the two books you haven't read. I really enjoyed New Spring.

 

You will meet so many people here who just love the world RJ created. :) Check out the social groups. Lots of fun there and new people to meet. I'm in the White Tower and Warders. You can't see all of the boards there until and if you decide to join. There are a bunch of groups so be sure to look at them all. There is no limit on joining.

 

There is a role play area where you can create your own character in the WoT.

 

Anyway, lots to do and if you need help just ask.

Hey Sapoman, So you haven't finished them yet?  I myself am on the second to last book, and also do not want it to end! I have the final book in hand and am half through with the one right before it!     I think I will keep going though and then read New Spring after the last book!  I am also listening to the books on CD as well, I am up to book 3 on that, way more expensive but you get a different view of the story!

Welcome to Dragonmount! ^_^ Yeah, I have the same problem as well; most of my "real life" friends don't really read books, I have one friend who's read WoT and I only see her at uni (and currently not until next fall because I'm spending the year abroad). But that's what the Internet is for!

 

Which book is your favourite in the series? And do you read other fantasy?
