I got Nol very late in the game (a post he made the day before endgame) and you I kept going back and forth on with Via. Most of the game I thought it was BH and via. So no, not really :p

 

Im very proud of Cloud though. He really changed this game and pulled off a pretty difficult wincon.

I had fun with Cloud buddying me. I figured you were in some way responsible for that. Cloud used well developed logic, but he was just off enough that he was worth keeping alive. And all those pesky conf'townies...

 

Anyway I wasn't kidding when I said the average standard of play here is pretty high. It was a solid game.

Annnnnd Via dropped the hammer on Hoof just as he starts putting up a struggle.

Suspicious. I fully admit I could be wrong about Tommy and Via could be the other mafia.

Or perhaps Via might be a survivor? That might fit a bit better and explain lower participation and flip flopping attitude.

 

So this read so scummy that I started to look back on Nol.  Keep in mind that it is like literally the end of the game at this point so it probably wouldn't have helped anyhow but this looked really fake to me.  Tommy probably could have sold me on Nol town though this late.  However, since I wasn't in the game I got a chance to leisurely look back.  Examine the next few quotes.

 

 

I don't buy the RB theory Tommy.  It's a bad choice for scum to make.   Using that reasoning they'd be taking the risk of their role blocker getting lynched and then having no way to deal with Nolder.

 

If there is a scum role blocker, Nolder would be dead now.  Then it wouldn't matter which scum member got lynched.

Not true at all. Scum could be going for a frame job.

Which puts suspicion on Tommy imo for bringing it up in the first place.

If it is just a choice, to you, between Blackhoof and Via I prefer Via.

I'm not ready to compromise and vote her yet though.

If Hoof decides to finally, you know, play to his win condition and try to lynch mafia instead of sit around waiting to die and if BFG can be convinced we can make a tie train.

Which would leave Via as the tie breaking vote. Which would actually be telling I think and actually useful in more ways than one.

 

If on the other hand we (BFG, Blackhoof, and I) form a train on Via she obviously wont hammer herself so that leaves her with just Blackhoof.

Less telling and less useful of a choice. That is unless you switch and vote for her first.

 

If it's an option between those two courses...I guess I prefer the first one.

But I don't mean to present a false dilemma, there are certainly other options depending on what everyone is willing to do.

I just see these two as the most likely given your stance right now. The obvious third option is for BFG or Via to just hammer Hoof.

I guess we need to settle this ASAP, no time to drag it out.

 

I think I would rather risk a no lynch than lynching Hoof.

I guess I'm more sure of him than I thought I was when put on the spot.

That leaves BFG or Via to hammer. If you guys AREN'T willing to hammer then you either need to join the Peace train or start a new one right away.

We don't have time to fiddle around anymore with hemming and hawing. It's voting time.

Sorry for the delay, I didn't want to do this until I was in the right state of mind.

I've been very tired lately. My sleep schedule has been hectic and I've just been grabbing an hour here and an hour there the past couple days.

Anyway I am feeling alert right now so here we go.

 

Peace - Scum. I am as sure about this read as I can be.

 

Cloud - Probably Town.

 

Tommy - Probably Scum. Mostly because I see him linked to Peace.

 

Via - Could go either way here tbh. If I'm wrong about Tommy then last mafia is probably her.

 

Nolder - Town Doc.

 

Blackhoof - Probably Town.

I am afraid that I never gave my own reads on that thread because I didn't want to influence Cloud.  However you can read the above to see where I drew my conclusions.  You two really did play well.

@Darthe: Unless I am legitimately pissed or distraught most of my reactions to deaths are pretty forced.

Normally I just don't care. Like, ok, that person died. Well how does this effect the rest of the game?

Buuuut it always seems like people want some sort of...sympathetic reaction? So I force it.

That may be my own incorrect perception but that's usually how it is for me.

I can't say for sure obviously but I think my reaction to Hoof's death would have been pretty much the same if I was town.

I would ignore it if I was you.  Brings heat to you either way and it isn't a form of heat that you can use.  

 

@Cloud, for post game I would like you to read the scum QT please.  Pay special attention to the 29 times that you are mentioned to see how they were interpreting your play most of the game.

Nolder, I did misspeak about the reasonable thing. probably the right word would have been agreeable or that you would be less firm in your stances. even tho I had you in my early mafia list I think you might have been the one I never got back to.

 

Cloud would have been my D2 lynch target. But darthe switched out my good BPV for a mouldy one when no one was looking.

The Golden train clears Peace and Via (especially if you take the above into account where Via had all the time in the world to hammer Nolder).

 

This is assuming Nolder wasn't scum. Which wasn't tested ever.

 

I don't remember what made me think Hoof was clear. I must have remembered wrong.
