AND WHILE WE'RE ON THE SUBJECT ANYWAY.

IT MIGHT NOT BE SO BAD IF DM'S POSTING SYSTEM ACTUALLY WORKED.

You're supposed to be able to be able to hit enter a couple times and it takes your cursor out of a quote or splits it depending on if you hit enter once or twice IIRC.

I can't even remember anymore because it hasn't worked in like a year. Now it will just duplicate a quote box. And it will keep doing that every time you hit enter so what you end up with is something that looks like this when all you wanted to do was cut a quote in half and reply.

Seriously, why hasn't this been fixed?

Not sure what to think of the anger/defensiveness.

He's starting to get angry because he knows that I'm right about him.

I have kept up with Nolder's and Peace's back and forth during this Day and I have to say that Nolder came out as the better player and townie. I haven't liked Peace's play and votes since the start of Day 2 and I'm starting to think that I was wrong about him being town. His early vote on Golden could have been a very early busvote even though I still find it unlikely. He is going on my unsure list together with Hoof.

About Krak, maybe. Actually, oddly makes me reconsider a vote on him. If a teammate just got lynched for being overaggressive, wouldn't you (collective) want to be more careful with your responses?

##unvote Krak. I have to think about this.

In regards to nolder/peace. I might need to go back tbrough nolder's posts, but I still get a townie impression. Instead of lazy, I suppose I can say IRL busy townie. I can see a few points from peace, but overall I don't agreewith much of his case either. i still get townie from him too, just because od the golden vote. He had plenty of time and opportunity to change his vote, imo. I suppose he could have been bussing D1, but I don't get that feeling.

Sorry for quoting the whole post and not breaking it up. Mobile is sucky for posting big posts.

Krak said that he sometimes gets angry about non-game related stuff regardless of his allignment. He is right that I'm not very familiar with his play so I will just take his word on it regarding my dictionary comment. I however still think that he has defended himself poorly against my case on him by exagerating and using weak argumentation. He has also refused to answer a vital question of mine in regards to his play for like the fourth time. And he also mentioned that I'm obvious scum because he argued that I somehow suspected to know the reasoning behind his actions, but so far I have only pointed out his lack of explanation and didn't mention a lack of reason anywhere, and even despite this he still hasn't voted for the "obvious scum".

To answer your question: No, I don't think that the other scum members would be more careful with their responses after their teammate just got lynched for being overaggressive. First of all, it wasn't the only reason why people suspected him, and secondly I simply don't believe that people who work together in a mafia team think and act like that.

We can of course disagree on Krak being more careful with his mood in this game after seeing his teammate getting lynched after acting like that, but I do find it odd that you unvoted from him just because he was getting aggressive.

Nolder's rage posts made me laugh. DM's messed up quoting system is the main reason why I manually code all my posts if I have selected more than one.

I flat-out diagree with most of those accusations of late- you are the one constantly bringing up his setup talk, he hasn't mentioned it in pages. He has been scumhunting recently and posting relevant things.

Also, as cloud said, it is unlikely that both he and golden are scum, given their trains

I'm curious about something.  You say it's unlikely they're both scum given their trains, but if he were town (provided the entire scum team wasn't already on Nolder) wouldn't they have just figured out reasons to vote him in order to save one of their own?

Well, the only confirmed mafia at the moment is golden, who was indeed voting Nolder. Chances are, other scum were voting Nolder as well. The problem for them is that there aren't many of them, and they do not want to give away too much by simply voting for someonw other than a teammate.

It is mainly the speed at which Nolder's train built, not necessarily that he was competing with Golden so closely.

@Cloud - I disagree about mafia team not working in tandem when it comes to emotion. I have seen, and been a part of, QT's where teammates are telling others to chill, or be careful with their responses when it comes to emotion. If people are working together as a team, why rule that possibility out?

You can think my unvote is odd all you want. I said I wanted to think about it, not that I was completely sold on him not being scum just for the defensiveness. I want to go back and look at his posts, specifically the one to you and read through it again.

Maybe you all had your emotions in check?

Going back through Krak's posts now, since husband took the baby on a few errands with him.

@Nol: post it on the Bug board - I can't fix that.

Also, nobody else has ever complained about it to me.....and I've never had a problem with it.

Methinks the problem lies somewhere between your chair and your keyboard.

So you thinking then that as the deadline got closer and it looked like GE was going down instead of Nolder there was some bussing?  Elf's hammer was super scummy to me, and also their admitted skimming.

Maybe it's more of a null to scum tell.  I mean sure, everyone does it from time to time, especially when two people spend 3-4 pages in an argument over a technicality, but I think using it as a reason to not post anything (while posting that you're skimming) is kinda scummy.  Like 'I skimmed a few pages, but I don't have time to post any thoughts'  why not just read them, make a note or two on a word pad and when you get to where you have time, post it?

I need to go back and read a couple more people, but I'm starting to get a scum lean on Peace after his interactions with Nol.

Okay, I went back through krak's posts and am having a super hard time posting the stupid ISO, so I give up for now. I saved it though, in case anyone wants me to try and post it later.

I'm back on the fence for him. When going through, I found town tells, null tells, and scum tells, so until they start leaning one way or another, I have to say I'm not sure on him.

As far as skimming, it depends on the person and how much they contribute. Also how long the game is lol, and this one is long and dense.

@Hallia - that post/vote is not making me feel any better about you at all.

@ Verb - nolder isn't the only one having problems posting ISOs. I am having an incredibly difficult time. It keeps putting my quotes inside other quotes, even though I check that all the tags are there. It also is adding the end to the spoiler tag in the middle of quotes for some reason. I don't understand it.

Posted

So I went back through Peace's posts expecting to find something condemning him, but to my surprise didn't find anything obvious. He's been pretty consistent on his reads, placed a vote on Golden and explained himself, and has picked/entered into several fights with various people. My only question is,

@Peace: do you still have scum reads on Elf?

Also, wasn't Elf replaced recently?

@Mod: would you mind updating the Original Player List with replacements?

Posted

@Cloud - I don't believe I've called you scum since Day 1. And it didn't tell me anything.

You did call me scum in this post:

And, lastly, you know nothing about the facts behind my actions. The mere mentioning of this is enough to paint you scum. The fact that you attempt to call your actions neutral is laughable in the least, and your attempt to pretend knowledge of the facts behind my actions is pure ridiculosity (and yes, I know this isn't a word).

And thank you for finally admitting that you didn't get anything from your reaction test. You couldn't have gotten anything out of getting called out by me and a couple of other players for switching your vote from me to Hoof without giving any explanation, and yet you were so presistent that you had a good reason for doing what you did. If you really had a good reason you would have thought more about what you were planning to do and then you would have come to the same conclusion as I have which is that if you give another person a good reason to attack your play then they most certainly will. It's even stranger for you to try and test someone you just recently had a scum read on in this manner, and this is the reason why I think it's just an excuse to cover up your scummy action.

The player list is up to date. Elf came back, apparently some wine happened to her around new year's.

Also, every vote count contains a player list.

That still wouldn't be allignment indicative. It's just lazy play. Anyway, could you answer my previous question about Effie?

Posted

Your'e right, I did use the word scum, but that was pretty scummy. You claimed to know what you couldn't know as fact.

Well I wasn't really testing you as much as Blackhoof, but that's moot at this point. Yes it was a bad play in that it's occupying you pretty needlessly.

Interested to see what you glean.

Also, I voted Blackhoof because his post reeked and I wanted to see reactions, which mostly consisted of you, Tom, and Turin questioning me. So, a small modicum of success.

So now you were testing Hoof, huh?
