Well I guess cloud doesn't want to take me up on my offer. I still find him shady but that isn't going anywhere today. I guess time will tell if I am wrong again.

## vote Krak

I don't like his explanation of his Hoof vote. "for reactions" is crap. You said you got something from Tommy, Cloud and I questioning your vote. What do you think you got? It felt more like you hit the eject button when you saw people question your lack of reasoning and the other supporters switched.

I'll say fair enough to your critique of my Golden read. TBH he hadn't posted much to go from yet. his big giant post was after that. I can see him as mafia as well as you. I really do not like that he basically said he was going to ignore everything someone said. Not very town behavior IMO.

You didn't misrepresent anything I said because as far as you were concerned I hadn't said anything, that's where the misrepresentation is.

This was a mistake on your part, anyone can make mistakes, that's fine.

You are saying though that you didn't search out what posts I made before you did your option post - as it happened I posted more which would have given you something to comment on about me. You didn't search and you didn't notice that my post count in the thread has gone up.

There is a difference between saying 'Via has had only one post so no opinion on her yet' and 'I don't think Via has added anything to the game and her opinions don't matter to me'.

Now that you've dismissed a players options because they picked you up on an error you made, town has some information to work on, now or in the future.

As I say, anyone can make a mistake, that's not a real issue. I am surprised by your response and your OMGUS vote though, wasn't expecting such a big response to my comment

I think Via defended herself well against Golden, and it seems to me he could easily be scum trying to rile people up.

##vote Goldeneyes

Obviously I don't have the time right now to read some of the massive posts some people have made but rest assured when I get to them you'll hate me because I'll just be spamming the thread with catchup. Ketchup? Anyway...

I see Hallia hasn't voted anyone yet. Has she even posted since I voted?

I don't want to bury my vote over non participating because it's a null tell but I'm reluctant to vote people who are participating without better reads on them.

Eh whatever. Sorry but this is the best I can manage right now. Next week you'll probably be sick of how much I'm posting but for now you'll have to settle for this.

I posted this before you wrote that, did you skim past it?

Hrm, looking back, I thought maybe we'd posted at the same time and you'd missed it, but there was a 10 minute gap in between.

Agrro? how so? There was attitude given in my direction. I decided to give a little back. goose and Gander and all that. Could it be that my attitude was so shocking or at a different level. Possible but I don't see it that way. Trust me on this one, even if you disagree with everything else I say. I am not bothered by what is said to or about me. I do however think that sometimes responding in kind is the best way to eliminate the verbal garbage.

I found that single post to be the opposite in tone of everything you've said so far. You may have questioned people, but you came out in in what I saw as uncharacteristically aggressive. I agree that responding is the best way to "eliminate the verbal garbage" so I appreciate the post. I post reads for more than just putting my opinions out there, I like to see responses. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to the post I had an issue with, you cleared that up.  And yes, I believe yours being one of my last ISOs probably got less time than it could have. That's the correct way to respond to a post, back to town read on you.

Oh and as for my OMGUS vote, I spent over 3 hours reading through the thread and making that post. I actually decided not to read eleavia because I consciously wanted to give her a day 1 break since she was subbing in late in Day 1 and I thought it would be unfair. It seriously pissed me off that my one conscious decision to be nice responded with a shitty comment and then voted me. I don't really care what anyone says, her reasoning was sad, she pops in to the thread, look at a random post and then make a weird comment and then disappear without contributing much. I will read and analyze what she says, but her opinions... meh.

My vote is currently parked out of spite.

I really don't like the Hally train FWIW. She's scummy by inactivity basically, but I dunno how voting her makes any more sense than voting an inactive. I have repeatedly been called out for wanted to lynch in actives early, just saying.

Hmmmm ok, Cloud has convinced me. I have done a bit of rereading and I have revised my opinion on him.

Still do not like Peace one bit.

Golden is also sticking out, with that terrible vote on via, who defended herself well imo. I didn't like how he then retracted it, stating that it was out of spite anyway- we have less than a day until deadline, and you were voting out of spite? He is being far too emotional, and I do not like that one bit. All his play has been heavily emotional.

Nolder is pinging me increasingly. Don't blame him for not reading the thread- goodness knows there is a lot, and I am having trouble making informed posts ahaha. However I don't like any of the votes on Hallia, especially not his. She has been inactive largely, think she gave a good reason, or was that someone else? More info would be secured from another lynch. Note how he votes hallia, who has posted rrlatively little, while after dozens of posts from other players he stated this:

As for scumreads.

I'm reluctant to narrow my focus to just three people right now, it's too early in the game for that.

Especially given that so many people have barely posted.

If I've noticed something off or wrong or whatever I've called people on it.

Nothing has been held back thus far so what you've seen is what you get.

I will say that out of everyone Krak has been the only one to give me a town vibe thus far.

Nope, don't like it. Would gladly move my vote to either Golden or Nolder, since the Peace train isn't going anywhere. I think Nolder.

As for Turin, I am uncertain, but leaning town. His arguments and logic are quite sound to my ears. I think that it is a case of town on town violence.

I posted before you made some comment or other about me.  I thought that was kinda funny, so yes, I did.

A link or post number would have been helpful...

Don't be lazy and go look?

It's not laziness that is taking up my time right now.

In fact I can turn that right around on you and call you lazy for not taking the time to grab a link for me when unlike me you know where to look.

I posted this before you wrote that, did you skim past it?

Apparently I did, yeah.

Hrm, looking back, I thought maybe we'd posted at the same time and you'd missed it, but there was a 10 minute gap in between.

##Vote Nolder

Well unfortunately I misjudged what time I had and wasn't able to check this.

Instead I made a crippled lady some dinner, did dishes, and took out trash, among other things.

Not that I expect that to matter to anyone nor am I fishing for a break.

Now I have a couple minutes to make this post before we go to pick up her inlaw from work.

Maybe instead of worrying about when a post was made and calling me lazy for not having the time to do more than skim the thread right now, next time you could just point me to the quotes directly so I can be judged on the contents of my thoughts/posts. I asked because I wanted to do that for you and not leave my vote on you for inactivity when obviously that's outdated but I guess no good deed goes unpunished.

Posted

Hoof I'm not sure what you're trying to say but I don't have time to wait for an explanation.

More info would be gained from another lynch but at the same time inactive people cannot be given passes to endgame.

At the time I voted her she was inactive and despite my attempt at having her point out what she could choose to be her most relevant game posts she refused and called me lazy.

In my opinion she's reaped what she has sewn in this case. My vote may not be the most relevant one but because of her I wasn't able to asses whether it would be a good idea to unvote or not.

None of that is remotely scummy though. Personally, I don't blame you for not being able to read it yourself, but you can't expect people to do it for you. You find the time, wait until you have the time, or post uninformed.

The deadline is like, today. Stop wasting time.

Yates wants me to respond to this:

Don't have much time but I notice Hallia hasn't been around much.
Want to hear more from her before our deadline. If not, I have no problem with sending her to the executioner.

This really applies to Leelou as well - Since when does Hallia not posting=Hallia-scum? How many times have we been burnt on this? Why do you think I wanted to mentor her in the first place?

And now I'm angry at you all for making me agree with _Cloud's assessment:

So the question that looms now is simply; are you scum trying to lynch a lurker slot or are you simply being lazy, as _Cloud alleges? /Yates

This was my first real contact with Yatezorz, he's been travelling, so I wasn't the only person 'lurking'

Yates also wants me to address this:

09 - Hally (mentored by Yates)

Opening post #27 pinged me on second read considering how little has been said by Hallia. It's both off-topic and me-too-ing the friendly chat that Theo and Hoof had already. Notably, Hally joins in on Hoof's spam-fest in #53.

"This is Hally. Ask everyone. When she doesn't know what else to say she sees something shiny and lulzy to comment on and 'contributes' that way. It has always bothered me as it shows a lack of focus. We're working on it. /Yates out"

I find it a bit of a stretch that with everything else that has been going on in the game that the first most scummy thing you found to vote for was that Hallia, a known serial lurker, had not posted much. Hell she has been a confirmed townie and lurked all game. That to me would be like finding Despo writing a Wall of Text with infinite multi quoting and spoiler tags scummy just for the long windedness.

Annnd one last thing, he wanted me to let you know he lol'd at this Turin

Posted

Other mentors have gone as far as actually speaking in the game, past the checkin phase, so I figured it was ok.  They're there to help right?

Posted

Your mentor is talking through you now? Is that part of the game? Lol...

Not really. It's part of being Yates. He's possessive, it seems. Working on it.

For future reference, this is what the mentors are being told.

Try to find the balance there - I'm sure you'll manage. It's hard to draw the line.

Try to be helpful without leading. Like, I dunno, point out ways to look at things, share strategies you like to use, this sort of thing. You're obviously allowed to talk about the game in question.

Mostly, it's up to you two to figure out what to do with this QT. I don't want to be too limiting. From what I read on the other QT's, it can be a very good experience.

That make any sense?
