Yes and I can't possibly know his alignment so I don't know if it is the same or not. In fact looking back his "Don't you agree that my action falls into "going after something that might get us nowhere" and "Letting things slide and ignoring possible leads/connections no matter how small gets us nowhere"?

well i found what was bugging me about that cloud/kaylee interaction. And despo caught it too. To me what aidanna said came across as cause and reaction. very clearly. I make a mistake and get modkilled. the way you broke that up, even the thing that stood out to you after key said something feels off.

Bolded. I read that as him asking "doesn't this fit with what you said earlier?"  The earlier bit that fit here for me was your explanation for why you were starting out aggressive.

^ Agreed with the interpretation of Cloud.  Not so much with the interpretation of what Aidanna said, because unless you are in the other game with her (which you might be), it wasn't super obvious that she meant modkilled.  She said killed, not MKed, so before Golden explained it, it looked weird to say.

 

 

Also I came out aggressive because I had the opportunity to be active and wanted to go after anything that might go somewhere as I've said before.

 

So you wanted to make sure you were able to "go after" something?  Why?

I do not see Kaylee's playing as suspicious, she has played the same as in the other game we were together in. She might come off as aggressive but that doesn't necessarily mean she is mafia. It's just how she is. I could say the same thing about Cloud's analysing every word.

The point isn't that you aren't sure of their alignment, the point is that of course you could be wrong.  But that's what most of the game is, going by what you feel/notice and guessing as to the alignment of someone else.  So, I don't think it's necessary to point out the obvious.  It seems like a way to appeal your innocence if the flip isn't in your favor.  Like "oh, oops!  I did say I could be wrong though".

Not sure if you're replying to me when it comes to your comment about Aidanna or not.  

 

Bold - kinda emo.  Analyzing what people say is part of the game.

 

Of course contributing is better than lurking. But "going after anything that might go somewhere" just sounds sketchy, to me.
