My experience is jailings work like doc protects and roleblocks... (d'uh, since it's a combo). You won't be told if you're jailed. The only way to know, is if you have an action, say a viewing or tracker or whatever, where you normally would get a feedback from the mod, and you get none.

I have no idea what to think of Rags and Csarmi's claims though. The fact is, there was two deaths, Cloud the godfather was one of them, and so we know there was two kills, and it's highly unlikely that the mafia had two shots and used one of them to shoot their godfather. So we either have a killer, another 1-shot vig or a SK, wich shot Cloud (that isn't Rags), but if Rags is mafia, why claim the kill, when there is a big chance someone will counterclaim it? Or we have two mafia teams, but I feel like we're two few players to have two mafia teams both with a NK the same night (my only experience with this is Darthe's werewolf game). Or, and I find this highly unlikely, Dap had a delay on his kill (making it more like a poison kill than a vig kill), but like I said, it's extremely unlikely, but I'm looking at all angles here. Or, we have a busdriver that drove Rags with someone else (making Csarmi's jailer-action hit someone else than Rags).

Thinking about it, I find the busdriver to be the most logical. But, if that happened, and Des is a sane cop, that means he didn't actually view Rags, but another person, since that was the same night. The times I've been mafia with a busdriver role, it's mostly been used to switch a mafia and a townie in the spotlight, in case either of them get viewed (get rid of a townie, or protect a mafia with an innocent-viewing). Yes, I feel that is the most logical answer. Actually,

Ok...so you agree that it would make no sense for me to fakeclaim killing Cloud as it would likely get counterclaimed.  Therefore...wouldn't that mean that Csarmi is lying about jailing me?

Explain this busdriver role.  What does it do?  Because you said that it would mean that Csarmi jailed someone else instead of me...so why hasn't anyone admitted to being jailed yet?

Haven't you heard of the Busdriver role? I find that hard to accept, you being a champion and all.

Because, like I said, it's not normal to get a notification here that you get jailed. If it was a vanilla or someone with a passive role that was hit, they wouldn't know.

Different forums use different names for the same roles.  Just explain it.

And you ignored my question about how...under your theory...someone else would have been jailed.  Where are they?

*heddesk* I gotta stop writing brilliant theories after midnight. Busdriver-theory still doesn't explain the kill. Excuse me, I'll just go stand over here and be embarrased.

I have never seen the Busdriver under any other name. But here's a wiki link to humour you: http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Bus_Driver

And I repeat: Unless the person that the Jailkeeping was put on have a role where they get active feedback from the mod (viewings), they will not be told they have been jailed, or roleblocked, or even doc protected. That is the norm here.

Here's the wikia on that role to for your viewing pleasure: http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Jailkeeper

Well I still think it's a valid theory that could explain both his role and how you still managed to do yours. But it doesn't make you mafia.

I was a jailer in a game Wombat modded once and the jailed player was thrown into a QT with me.  I used a psuedonym in the QT to talk to that player.

6 to lynch.  Deadline is tomorrow night at 7 PM EST.  Turin has replaced Lenlo.

The obvious course of action today is to lynch Darthe and get some answers about our multiple cops. You could potentially kill him tonight anyway, what's the issue?

Posted

Oh, if he lives through today, I'm going after him tonight.  His scum buddies can either target him so he lives one more day phase then gets lynched or let me off him.

Posted

No mention of that in my role PM.  Just double checked.  If I target someone who was gonna die, they live.  If I target someone who wasn't gonna die, they die.

Imo the salami rag situation will handle itself. Rag can't not target Salami, Salami, if town, has to target someone else and if mafia has to prevent himself from getting killed. Attacking either at this point just wastes a lynch, we will get the info from their night actions.

The only concern I have is someone else getting involved such as redirecting me.

@Rags

No, my target is not told that they have been jailed.

As far as I'm aware, it functions like a roleblocker+doc, nothing less, nothing more. No fancy stuff.

And yup my theory is that one of your teammates sent the kill and you tried to take credit cause you're the GF. Fun and safe... normally.

As for N1 not having two kills, there are a lot of plausible explanations for that. I don't think we got enough info to figure out what happened. So theorizing about that prolly a waste of breath.

Going to work, see you guys later.

In and of itself that is helpful to us.

If there are 2 teams like you are supposing, a lot of times they alternate kills.
