Totally disagree there. That's what gets games moving. Also, talking without voting is like moving air around (there should be some sort of saying like that?).

 

As for how often does a maffia get lynched D1? Quite often. Certainly more often than the random 25% would be.

Not fond of this part of your post Leelou. I think you already questioned BFG about the thing you're referring to, and she ended up explaining. This seems like an unnecessary comment trying to lead town into believing BFG is all over the place or something.

 

I think it was pretty townie of her to pick up on that bit, about you linking me, CS, and GF so quickly. Dunno why you're being so dismissive of it, especially considering that in the next post you say you never had a scum read on me:

Indeed I did. Your case made me review Despo's play and I found it off, several of his posts pinged me as being of a non-townish Despo.

I'll revise my opinion once I have the time as everyone keeps saying how he's on his town meta and we all know that one billion flies can't be wrong.

CS is scum, but he is right on this issue.

 

Let me put it this way Dice, and I hope you might understand where players like me and CS and others are coming from:

 

It is MUCH easier for town to survive a couple of mislynches than it is to survive a game where everyone is lurking or waiting for something obvious to vote for. Mislynches are pretty much expected, and there can still be info gained from them. Chances are, they'll prob be a VT lynch most the time, since if you have a PR claim, around here at DM that practically makes you unlynchable (). A VT should have no problem whatsoever sacrificing themselves for the team, whether by NK or lynch.

 

A bunch of VT's who are scared of being lynched, and thus guard what they say much more, potentially puts town in a position where mafia can lurk too, and the most active players get lynched while info and discussion comes along at a snail's pace. After a couple of the more vocal town leaders have died, the mafia team then has a prime opportunity to lead town the wrong way the rest of the game. So again, a VT should have no problem potentially exposing themselves to a lynch by speaking out more and getting their thoughts out.

 

And day 1, there's never going to be a ton of rock solid info. Almost anything you could vote for is going to be minor, and getting votes out there increases the chance of finding more info. Like if someone seems to be bandwagoning a lot, for instance.

 

So yeah, spiel over. Don't be scurred to vote or get your thoughts out.

As I said before, obvious scum is scummy. Still think Cloud is pretty stinky too, thinking there's a decent chance they are teammates. Other than that, GF is def troubling, for ignoring stuff said against him, and for trying to overdo the flippant thing. He had been rearing to go as far as mafia goes for a while, I don't think he'd be this flippant as town.

 

Also got my eye on both Mish and Leelou. Mish for both the N0 balancing discussion I mentioned previously, and her not mentioning CS in her catchup post. Leelou says she voted me "to get reactions", not so sure about that. She did do a case on me, and tried linking me to CS and GF early on.

No it's not incongruous at all. Leelou's mini-case and vote made me review your play. I found it pinging. So I voted you. Note that I didn't add any reasoning at that point as there isn't much.

 

As for the ISO - that's what I had at that point. What do you expect on D1? I was asked what I felt off about your play and so I said so.

There's absolutely no coding fail there. There is no need for bolding or colouring a vote, so I didn't. I was posting it from phone, it was much easier to post this way.

What was so terrible about it? When I made my vote, I attached my reason (feels off).

Later, I told you guys that the vote was serious. I was asked why (by BFG, I believe), so I tried to explain what I felt.

 

Not much case to see there as there wasn't much to go on either. It's a stretch to call that a case, let alone calling that horrible.
