not in all cases.

but my main issue is that purple should be gained not given.

ppl are gaining top high lvl staff without the skill to support their gear.

 

once u could assess a player skill according to his gear, u know that he most likely faced a certain lvl challenge to get his gear reward, today... every noob is full purple

Emp, it is already downloaded if you have up through 5.0.4 on your comp. You just have to validate that you paid for it

I tried to wake up super early and play for a bit, but I there was insane lag. Dunno - I'm not sure I even completed the login process before I just said screw it. I'll try later tonight. For once, I'm bummed that I have hockey tonight.....I wanna play!

So I played for about 3-4 hours last night and got about 75% to 86. It is hard because I am doing this with my tank... so I steal all the mobs I want but it takes forever to kill them :P I am liking most of the questing so far. I could really do without the "speak to this guy and listen to this story" bits. I haven't run an instance yet because I am tanking and I like to get to know them before I pug them.

I hit 90 this weekend on my mage - looking forward to gearing him up for both pve and pvp. Might do both on him, but definitely pvp.

I edited the OP to adjust my toon names/races, and change my main. The mage is what I'm on 99% of the time.

Yep.  Emp mains a Pally tank now (Ridonkulous), and Canuk still uses her Druid (Xexah).  My Shaman (Verbal) is my main there, but I'm mostly on him to do AH stuff and chat within the guild chat.  I don't raid or pvp on that toon right now.
