 Despo's posts are usually quite good, but he tends to overdo the quotes and some of his best points get lost in the combination of quotes and verbiage.

Des the Wombat thing I wasnt meaning to call it scummy, im pretty sure I actually agreed with him that moving around as your views change is a good thing to do. I just said that he moved it around abit to much for my taste. Wasnt FoSing anything.

 

Also yeah I prefer to be all the way caught up instead of just skipping to the last page and voting someone who has the top votes. That doesnt seem like good idea to me.

To second, were you aware the deadline was yesterday?

 

Cause if you were aware, then it still would have been best to click on the last page or so and see if your vote was needed. Obviously it's ideal for you to be caught up before posting, but you do understand that occasionally town has to consolidate on someone they may not even feel that good about lynching, in order to prevent a random, right? Even a bandwagon lynch is better than a random, when you often get no coroner info, and don't get the normal info you'd get from a lynch (who was on it, who tried stalling it, etc.)

I did have a great time except for the fiasco with the coaches, 7-8 hours on coaches which should have been 3-4 hours, and a lot of time wasted waiting around...But The Harry Potter studios were amazing. Got so great pictures of my daughter flying on a broomstick.

After an very busy first day and with RTE dead, you wonder off to your own rooms exhausted. What will tomorrow bring? You settle down to a dreamless sleep. Next thing you know morning has arrived and not feeling as refreshed as you would have liked you head for the main room. 

 

People begin to drift in after you and eventually it seems most of you are there ready to start the day, but you notice Basel is missing. A few of you rush off to his quarters and there find him lying in his bed, he has been shot in the head.

First RTE manages to get himself lynched, then Basel comes back during the night and softclaims to get himself killed as well.

He managed to find the worst possible timing, to be honest - late enough to get vigshot and early enough for the scum to shoot him. Actually, it's not out of the question that the scum team shot Basel too, it'd make sense: while I had a hard time believing his late "claim" as town, they'd have no reason to question it.

you used your shot to try to force a claim from someone you already should have suspected might have avoided claiming for a good reason. unless you just think he doesn't know how to play. or unless it was a regular old NK. I fail to see how you could have been sure enough to waste a single vig shot on n1 on the guy who was going to get run up today and who'd have been likely to have been looked at besides.

 

because it would have been wise to claim at night. you want as much info out there for scum as possible.

 

but scum already had enough info.
