I thought it might be fun to talk about what we're reading now and how we feel about it (especially since I'm reading something freakin' awesome!)!

I've been reading a lot.  Right now it's Dan Brown's "Inferno."  I'm halfway through so I'm reserving judgement.

I finished reading The Perks of being a Wallflower, Iron King and Wicked Lovely. I had bought those books only few days ago. These three along with The Fault in Our Stars. Of those I have read I LOVE The Perks of being a Wallflower.

Now I am on Overbite by Meg Cabot or maybe I will read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I haven't read it yet but I have read that it is not as good as Dan Brown's other books.

We listened to The Hobbit on the road trip (my son and I had not yet had a chance to finish reading it together. The book on CD was delightful and allowed us to finally get that done. ;) ) I have read it several times myself, but he is only seven, and so this was his first time. He loved it, of course.

Aside from that, I am in the middle of my Wheel of Time re-read. Which is not moving quickly as I am taking notes on all sorts of things that I have wanted to track for a while just to see what comes out of it. But I am enjoying it almost more for the slower reading, just enjoying the words, and the feel, and analyzing the way it's all put together.

I had read inferno when it came out. I was looking forward to it as I always to when I see Robert Langdon is back. I think my anticipation may have made it more enjoyable. I would say it was better than The Lost Symbol, but I would say too that angels and demons and da Vinci code were better than it.

I am currently reading a collection of Sherlock Holmes stories I downloaded on my kindle. I had read quiet a few I'm the first few months and now I've all but stopped reading. Nothing to do with the books, everything to do with the sunny summer weather!

Kat, I'm leaning towards your views on Inferno.

Lady, I plan to do a slow re-read of WoT next year. The thing for me, is I didn't really enjoy the last book for many reasons and I'm going to have to put that book out of my mind while reading the others.

I really dislike that I used 'better'. It's so subjective. I really should have said 'I enjoyed it more than lost symbol but less than angels and demons and the da Vinci code'.

I loved the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. I'm enjoying this one as well.

I'm reading The Kingmaking by Helen Hollick.

It's another version of the King Arhur legends that I am very thoroughly enjoying! It starts with Arthur as a kid and walks with him as he grows up, an uncrowned King in love with a girl who's betrothed to someone else and getting experience... ok, I shouldn't tell you that part because it'll be a spoiler. Seriously, though. It's awesome and I'm addicted! :)

Oddly enough: No MERLIN. Go on, try to imagine the Arthur Legends with no Merlin...

I loved The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I read it a couple of years ago, glad to see someone else liked it so much.  It's kind of like the modern day Catcher in the Rye, which is another great book.

I'm currently reading House of Chains, the fourth book Steven Erikson's Malazan series.  It's been great up until this point, can't wait to finish all of them.

I think I'll check that series out.

I'm going to start Cloud Atlas today for the White Ajah Book Club.

Glad to see you here, Wanderer!

Hey, Wanderer!

I finished The King making (AWESOME book, BTW!)

In reading City of Bones, the first book of the Mortal Instruments series. Pretty interesting so far!

I want to read that. But I can only find City of Glass(last book of that series).

Currently I am reading The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest and The Fault in Our Stars when Hornet's Nest gets boring

I want to read those. Hasn't there been a movie?

The movie opens next month, I think.

It was a very quick read for me and overall, I liked it. There were a few things that bugged me, but I'm thinking she did that on purpose. I'm going to get the next one, which I'd more than I could say for The Hunger Games. :)

I have no idea what I'll read next. Hmm...

I want a couple of quick hitters before I tackle WoK, I think. I read City of Bones in two days...

No. I had to put Boneshaker down because my darlings won't let me read a real book. It's digital or bust around here, lately.
