I still don´t think Peace is mafia. The case sounds all backwards. First, I don´t think mafia wanted to kill Cloud that early. As someone said, it would be better to wait until you have a doc/cop claim. So I doubt Peace killed Leelou and went after his own mafia buddy right away just to get town cred. Wouldn´t it be better to save Leelou and connect her again with Cloud when he was lynched? 

 

After Bg made that case a lot of people just choose to sheep. And I do think Mish´s vote is strange since she defended Peace before. Okay, if she wanted to avoid a random with voting someone she thinks is town, that might be a good reason. But now she has gone from definitely not mafia to have to vote him to avoid a random lynch to voting him for being mafia. Big FOS!

 

So you've never had a read change before in a mafia game, Tina? Did you not see my reasons for changing my mind?

 

 

 

I agree Mish, his vote was opportunistic, and also, really? You're going to call someone out about posting?  I do like that backpedal though.  It's got style  I'd vote him for his play, but wouldn't wanna get accused of omgsus'in'

It's not a backpedal; it's a change of view. That post I quoted + the sudden shift to Yates' train made me seriously doubt his townie-ness (see reasons why in above post in case you missed them first time; you have a tendency of that in this game).

I want to be lazy and bandwagon on Peace but I also want to hear what BG has to say about my thoughts first.

Of these three none seem squeeky clean to me. Pralaya seems to be setting up lynches but the way Cloud responds to him makes me think he's probably not the guy. Peace says "well let's just lynch Cloud anyway and see what happens" which feels like nudging based on nothing. But Peace was making a case that the people who appeared to be distancing from Cloud (ie voting him) were turning up dead and that's what makes Cloud scum. Considering Cloud's role it's obvious he'd want people to vote him eventually and wouldn't kill suspicious people. I think anyway. If Peace was his teammate I don't think he'd be perusing this line of thought regardless but trying to cast more suspicion on people based on how Cloud flips. So that leaves me with Player and I'm gonna say as of this moment he's my top pick. I'm not saying he's scum at all so don't get that twisted, it took me a lot of jumps and leaps of assumptions and what if's to get where I am. I am just saying he's Person of Interest #1 for me right now and I think that's who I'm going to be keeping a special eye on whenever I get around to doing a full reread. Before that though I'd like to see some reactions to my thoughts and I want to figure out who mystery man is since he might be an even better suspect than Player.

 

 

I like that you were comparing with Razen's train at the start which honestly isn't something I've done yet but seems to be a good idea in retrospect. So your 3 mains suspects here: Pralaya, Peace, and Dap.

 

Pralaya: Setting up lynches is never a good thing, and assuming Cloud knew he was going to be lynched on D2, any responses he gives on D2 are tough to pull good info from. But I agree that out of the 3 he's seems least likely.

Peace: You've seen my opinions on him. You say that Peaces was making a case that those who voted Cloud are dead, therefore Cloud is scum. To me it looks like he's trying to gain himself some credibility by using Cloud's death. You say if he were scum he'd be trying to cast suspicion on others based on Cloud's flip, but I think its also likely hes trying to cast suspicion AWAY from himself based on Cloud's flip which is almost more important in the long run.

Dap: I agree he's worth keeping an eye on as well. Strictly speaking, his meta feels off from how I'm used to hearing from Dap lately. He's got big ol' cases looking for Traitor queues in T1/T3 and seems much quieter here. Maybe the 3-in-1 is messing with him as he obviously messed up his last casing and which thread he was supposed to be in. I've just been kind of waiting for him to sort things out before paying much more attention to him since.

Just looking at this peace train. It look rather town driven compared with the Yates train. I don't know if BG or Raz mentioned that but I think it's worth noting

 

Raz stands out to me in this. He seems a good bet

I don't look too flash (kinda similar to chuckles voting actually) but I'm town

Serra doesn't look good but that's mainly the lack of cloud vote and being at the end of Csarmis train

I am doing my best to keep up and participate but I realize that it's still just minimal participation.

And it doesn't help that this game seems less interesting than the other game I'm in.

I dunno I'm more invested in winning over there than I am here.

I know the feeling. I didn´t feel that I was into these games until I did my re-reads this week. But maybe a better reason for voting Peace than just being lazy? I already think we have some lazy votes there.

To be fair, I haven't actually voted him yet. I am kind of sitting around waiting for more perspective.

Which could be construed as fencesitting I guess if you want to be suspicious and cynical but I'd rather look suspicious than jump the gun.

And I do have my theory that pointed to Peace, Player, and Pralaya. I'm still not sure how solid that is though or if maybe I'm crazy for focusing on them.

I honestly can't blame Dap for getting his games messed up. I'm pretty relieved I'm only alive in this thread; I got things messed up so bad and had to constatnyl check the OP to remind myself wich game was wich.

Work asked me to pick up an extra shift this week so I had to do that at break neck speed and my notes of claims in games got deleted

 

If I'd had more time I would of gone through the thread and picked up the claims and altered it accordingly

I tried to look back the last few pages but I didn't see it and ran out of time
