Prove it.....without saying the word stupid.

Prove what? That the notion about trying to force people claim where they are scum is stupid?

I think I did that already, in one of these threads.

Bsically, group dynamics and game theory doen't work like that and the maths is off too.

Lol

This is Csarmi right now

I never got to tell you how annyong these gifs are. I hate them with a passion. I hate when things in the middle of my screen keep flashing at me. Maybe I could filter them on DM though, if I wasn't so lazy.

I have pages of them saved for use....

I do try to use them in context though and not just randomly spam threads with them cos they are funny (though I have some for that)

Saying someone's arguments are stupid is not proving it.

Being exasperated that someone may lie in a game all about lying is stupid.

See the difference?

Really man, instead of "globally" defending yourself...you should be casing others.

I have no time to case people. If you haven't noticed, I'm busy as hell.

I think I announced that in one of the threads too. My workmate's mum is in hospital, I'm doing the work of 2 this week. This event happened tuesday night.

Alright, all caught up here.

First off, I believe Csarmi's claim here and don't see the reasoning behind lynching him in all three threads day 1.

I did notice that Leelou seems to be sheeping Verbal in this thread. Is there a reason for this that I am perhaps unaware of? Is verbal known as a good player on this site? I'm going to read through the other threads and see if I can put this together.

@Leelou: did you not believe Csarmi's claim?

vote: Leelou

Metawise, both Serra and Yates seem like their town selves here. I'm glad.

Really? You believe my claim here but not everywhere. A weird notion. Especially when we consider that I have exactly two non-global posts (the placing of any of my other posts were arbitrary), both in T1.

Maybe you do believe my claim here cause you know my alignment. Now how could that be?

This was at least a step in the right direction.

I still think you should be lynched, but the town thing to do at this point is get as much of your reads out there as possible so they can possibly be used after your flip.

I know you are busy, but RL can't be helped. Use the free time you'll have now.

Yay optimism!

Also I try only do a gif a page, and if its huge ill spoiler it

Even so, I took more than an hour at work to start some casework on T2, just to get hammered in the middle of it. A quite unnecessary hammer.

I'M not really convinced I should be spending time on this game anymore, but I suppose if I still live tonight and I'm not falling right asleep when getting home, I'll try some. Maybe.

Can you just always spoiler it? :)

Work on.

Oh yea and I did plan to be much more active and cross-analyze and all that stuff. This started out as an easy week at work, not much to do.

I might have chosen to follow a different gameplan if I got the news earlier. I still think it wasn't bad though.

Heh, it seems everyone is sort of neglecting this thread/going for it last. I think my next run-through will be the other way around.

Yay! Finally caught up. I bet the other games has a lot of new posts now. :(

Peace misreps Ishy pretty badly by impying Ishy wants Nolder to stop posting. Also, peace wanting to start lynching Csarmi in this thread strikes me as a bit off. I think we might have Peace-scum wanting to get Csarmi-town lynched here before we hit Csarmi scum in 1 and/or 2.

So you think Peace votes Cs here because they are mafia together in another thread. But they are probably not on a team here. Why would they play their other game in this thread? In the end everyone want 3 points. You can´t just prioritize one game then.

Huh, that's not quite what I meant. I meant to imply that IF Csarmi is town here (which is looking less likely now), Peace would want to quickly secure the mislynch here first. If we started with another thread and hit Csarmi-scum, we might be inclined to lynch someone else in this thread (which might be Peace or one of his buddies).

The other thing I don't like about that Serra post you quoted Tina is that it assumes that he would claim scum in another game to preserve himself in a diff one... but this would look worse imo since scum would be more interested in self preservation. Townies can still win even if they're mislynched, for scum its pretty pointless to giveyourself up day 1, hurts your team's chances of winning greatly.

I think Serra was ssuggesting it as a feux scumhunter post, trying to look like putting forth a reasonable-sounding idea while not really expecting Csarlami to out himself in any thread

Well, I was never very confident in it working to cause Csarmi to claim scum, but as I said elsewhere, "a guy's gotta try". I can see what you mean about me trying to gain towncred with it, but the line of reasoning for WHY someone should claim scum is actually sound, so I thought there's a chance it'd work. I didn't suggest scum should give themselves up freely, it's rather that if they'd be lynched anyway, they might as well save the other towns the mislynches. For example, the town in 2 would be better off if Csarmi had claimed where he's scum. Of course (again) that fails when people are scum in several games, but that should really only be a small proportion of people (unless of course Darthe has decided to let the scumteams overlap quite a bit...)

So you mean that Peace would protect his scum budies by lynching Cs here so his team don´t get voted? So would that make Peace town in the other games?

@ALL, Pralaya needs a nickname.  I'm too lazy to type that but Laya is far too feminine for him and spelled wrong besides.  What do we call him?

Also: vote Despo

I have only one aim left in this game. To lynch him, no matter his alignment & role.

You guys can all die in a fire.

I'M at L-2, I believe.

And you should all unvote me now.

Top Global Scum list:

Despo, Serra, Cloud, Yates (these are scum in at least one thread, I'm pretty sure of it). Their attitude around the joint lynch, mostly.

Top Local Scum list:

Not enough information.

But I'm confident enough to vote Chuckles if anyone is down with starting a train on him.

No play. Just jabbing. But not even voting. Actually I think he has what three posts here in total?

First off, wrong thread to call me out for sheeping, I'm not in any but I could see it in a different thread where I actually ask Verbal who we should vote. BTW I pretty much start every game out like this with Verbal. Where I normally play mafia, they are a bit more jokey and we evolve into seriousness through Day 1. For me, this game picked up too seriously too quickly.

Just an opening post.

*sits on a desk, cross legged waiting for other people to visit this thread*

hi

The next few series of posts are jokes from the other site a few of us play on, Verbal and Nol included.

Let's make this quick, I've got a nap to take.

Vote Verbal

We'll speak of this tomorrow.  ;-)

We could preemptively start that up...

pew pew pew

This vote was for bandwagoning:

vote Yates

I was already on board with lynching salami, so I voted.

unvote, vote salami

My explanation for voting salami is in these next two posts

Lotta quiet sheeping going on. Would appreciate a little more input from those of you who are just jumping on the Csarmi train.

I voted him first. In the other thread.

Hard to keep track of such things...

And the threads are only ~5 pages each at most.

Inter thread play is going to get complicated quick.

I suggest it be dropped by tomorrow unless there's a good reason for it or we're going to all get way too twisted.

I voted him first for bandwagoning, and then I think he was posting on the three threads at that time.

To your question:

@Leelou: did you not believe Csarmi's claim?

At this point, he's claimed VT, we wouldn't be losing a PR, there is still the possibility he's a lying scum, and the salami lynches across all three threads will give us a lot of actual info from Day 1. He's the one that bridged the games together, posting exactly the same in a way that seemed to try to mask a meta. I was all for playing the threads as separate games (I started off voting people who were quick to bandwagon). I'd much rather get his lynches out of the way, see which way he flips and then analyze each thread on their own and see about picking out scum from there. As it is, without an actual alignment from him it's hard to judge why people are acting the way they are in each thread. Lynching anyone else without an actual strong read would be a waste of a day because we will lose all the reactions from this train.

Secondly, Leelou, sheep Verbal? Nah, never happen.

Don't I?

They're lynching town instead of playing the game. Going on a crazy and useless hunt that has already costed town a lot in one of the threads.

Should be enough reason to unvote, start playing and start voting people.

5 actually. and im still not sure who to vote for, you are ofcourse our only train, but i think the tri-lynch thing is too risky

Leelou, as I'm not bright enough to see this, please help me out.

Exactly what sort of information will we have when I flip town in all games?

Are you mocking me or seriously asking?

Tell me that sort of information is worth the cost of:

- lynching a town PR + 2 vanilla towns (over the threads)

- half the players not even taking stance

- not having competing towns

- too much globalization all over the place
