Hello everyone :)

 

Last night was a bit crazy for me and I have basically haven't had any access since my last post. Okay, so here we go:

 

Despo: Spot on with that Turin case. You basically read my mind and I have been crumbling it all along. Turin was not very subtle when he called Peace for defense of Cloud. He avoided Cloud's train via Peace and waited for the perfect time to bus after Ithi and my claims. Of course, it could all be circumstantial. I agree that he would be a tough one to pin down.

 

Mish: Sorry if I offended you. That wasn't my purpose, I wasn't trying to order you around just get you back on track.

 

Dap: I was sort of hoping to hammer you :) I am glad Town wisened up and has decided to lynch scummy Dice. I still think you are Town for your effort in Cloud's melt down and the way Turin latched onto both you and Peace at the end of Cloud's lynch.

 

Lets kill Dice (like I have been saying all along!) then turn up the heat on Turin tomorrow. Him or Dap should be viewed. Just saying.

From what I can tell, doing his town thing. Was mia a bit over the long weekend, understandable, mostly absent from the early game failed claim as far as I can remember. Getting town vibes, but I did so last game too, right up until he knifed my spleen in the face. But that is not this game. At any rate, bigger priority targets.

Has been gone for a few days now. I liked his points in the Ithi/Cloud claim-off, logical to me. Bigger targets.

Pops in when attention starts to rise, bit of scrap earlier but not a real lot to go off.

Only interesting in that he seconded the cc, had some valid points, and has now seemingly been cast in the role of peace-buddyer by some. I think a town. Gullible town maybe, but town.

Daywalker eh. Three things about this situation 1) We know he has a kill. If anyone turns up dead, in this basic game, personally I think it is safe to assume that the blood is on peace's hands. This means that kills are not anonymous, in a sense. 2) Peace will either work with us, or against us, in searching for mafia. The success of this search, and the way it is gone about, will give us all we need to know about alignment. 3) We don't need to deal with it right this second. So moving on.

My best scum candidate. Shows up with some underexplained votes, gets in tangles when getting called on them and having to explain herself, and then disappearing into the night until the next adventure.

I feel I should add, I have no idea about Vam's vote at the start of the game. In my mind it was hugely reaching. I personally would have self voted.

 

Panchi

Another who has shown up barely at all, and said not much, and not really said it well when she has. Coasting, absolutely, but could a mafia really risk being -this- absent? Time will tell.

 

Dap (Player)

A handy player, who throws enough muck around to make some stick, much like Desp but for some reason less face-punchy. (Take that as a compliment, Desp). Disappeared after some erratic if good work early, although I strongly, STRONGLY disagree with policy ANYTHING, let alone giving them the claim. Imagine if everyone adopted this stance, or the majority at least. A fake claim would come out EVERY game, and EVERY game they would walk away with it. 

You are a better player than that. Read the attitude of the posts, pick up on the things you spend a tonne of time going through anyway, and go with your cases. The above policy stuff is ridiculous. 

 

Anyway, tangent. Erratic game with the sacrifice, but I can see him envisioning marble statues of himself, Town Hero style with this sacrifice nonsense.

And finally to Dice, who I didn't really notice all that much until bursting out with overly defensive posts toward the late game. The sheer knee-jerk reaction on display, for no real reason that I could see, well let's just say the response seems over the top for a VT, to my eyes. And as the train is building, and deadline in 10 hours and such, I am happy to lynch a strong mafia candidate/weak townie.

@Despo- Cloud knew who was not mafia and it makes sense for him to try defending someone he knows to be town.

I still can't shake how Turin was so sure that Cloud was lying?  Expressed no doubt what so ever.  Doesn't sound like the uninformed majority to me.

Berf's analysis seems pretty straight forward.

 

If Dice flips Town though then I will be looking closely to those on his train. Panchi, Hal, and Berf most specifically. Sadly, not much to actually analyze considering they probably have about 10 posts all together.

 

Something I have been considering... with a 15 man setup what is the typical number of mafia? 3 or 4? I can't decide if we only have one scum left or two.

They're real. And they are dying. Having his morning coffee in his one bedroom apartment, the young detective was reading the paper in front of him. The headline: WEREWOLF LEADER MURDERED. The picture was graphic, the torn skull of the once immortal Lycan featured prominently on the front page, giving little room to the now insignificant stories bordering the image. The city was buzzing since the news broke. There had always been stories, legends really, of the city's mythic past, but given the detective's recent discovery and the discovery of William Corvinus' remains, the facts were undeniable. Lycans and Vampires were real, and still very much are real. The government was scrambling to reassure the people that they were safe. Humvees with soliders patrolled the streets and there was a strong military presence in the city center. No one was ready for this, but they were certainly doing their best to play catch-up.

 

As the detective left his apartment to walk to the office, he felt like he could almost cut the tension in the air with a knife. The city was definitely not at peace. He followed his usual path and as he made his way walking across the electronics store, he stopped. He stepped back a few paces and looked at the television. It was a breaking news broadcast. The shot was of a grotesque corpse. Not human. Not Lycan. Vampire. And not just any Vampire. The headline:

It is now Night 2. You have 24h to get your NAs in. It has been changed from 48h based on popular opinion. Let me know if you need a countdown timer.

I don't think I've ever been in a game with this many scummy options, even after 3 mafia dead. Vam/Berf is looking a bit better in my eyes now, but I'm still gonna withhold judgement there. Dap, Hallia, Chuckles and Panch are all good candidates in my eyes.

I never sit on the fence if I can help it. I was sure Cloud was Mafia even before he claimed my character. I don't remember you saying my certainty meant that I was Mafia.

 

It was quite obvious that Cloud was lying. If he was Town - he would have had the character that made more sense as a Doc. He also was instantly counter claimed by me.

 

If I were Mafia - I would not have counter claimed. I would have just unvoted and then perhaps plotted to kill him at Night - or leave him forced to only self protect for the Game. There was no need to potentially damn myself.

 

So logically he had to be Mafia.

 

 

Plus - it was quite clear he was gonna have a go at claiming Doc and lo and behold he did.

 

I was actually glad that at least one person stepped up and tried to at least look at what was happening logically. I feel the need to at least return the favour

 

But tomorrow will be Day 3 and I will do a proper case on him if possible. Of course if he is Mafia he may kill me to prove that he isn't mafia. Because he would never kill me, right? But maybe then if he is not Mafia - the mafia will kill me to make you think he killed me.

 

Or they will keep me alive to make you think he is Mafia again lol.

 

I would say over and above anyone else in this game you should view him and see what the hell he is - because he is so bloody tricksy he could very well be hiding that he is buddying inside all the buddying lol

I don't like this post at all. It's a little too self congratulatory and also very definite about how many more Mafias are left. Also a nice bit of buddying to AJ - possibly to make sure he don't look in her direction.

First bold.  This reasoning is unrealistic considering you had the advantage of knowing your character.   Your certainty was based on knowledge you had that I didn't. 

 

Second bold.  What you would do as mafia isn't what everyone would do.  I discussed this when considering which of the two of you I'd vote.  A scum team may feel taking out a doctor is worth one of them.  And in certain circumstances..including the last game I was scum it would be.  Wish we had done that.  

 

Your game is all about you and your perspective.  You refuse to see what an uniformed player may see.   You won't even acknowledge the point that someone who is town and is not privy to information can see things differently from you who had the information. 

 

And lastly..WTF are you answering for Mish?  Don't you think that her answers could be clues as to if she is town or scum?  Regardles of your viewpoint on the manner.
