Underworld Mafia [Basic] - Game Over. TOWN WINS!

The rules:

• You may not quote any part of any private communication I have with you. This includes PM’s, QT boards, or IM convos.
• You may not edit your posts.
• Character claims and role claims are allowed.
• This is a hammer game. When the hammer vote is cast, any other votes and unvotes will not be counted.
• If you have been hammered, you are dead. There is some leeway in posting before the Mod puts up the scene but at that point you are dead and should no longer be "playing the game".
• Votes and unvotes need to be bolded and red, and you must have the word Vote in the same format before the person's name.
• You must unvote before voting again.
• Please send all day/night actions to me via your Role PM AND in the QT. I will be following both closely but that way is safest.
• If no majority is reached by the deadline, I will modkill a random player and no coroner info will be given. Each time no majority is reached, the number of players randomly killed will increase by 1.
• No discussing the game off thread unless you have been given a QT board. Period.
• Day 1 will be a maximum of 1 week long. After that Days will be no more than 72 hours long and nights will be no more than 48 24 hours. Adjustments will be made for weekends. Please bear in mind that I would rather a shorter night but I am doing this for convenience's sake. Please don't try to abuse this.
• After death, you get one "Bah!" post that may not contain any game-related information.
• Self-voting and voting No Lynch are allowed.
• I dont mind chatting with players. Feel free to ask questions and stuff, either in the game or via PM if you prefer - but also respect if I tell you to PAFO.
• I'm in the UK, currently on GMT+1. Don't expect me to be awake ALL the time America. I stay up pretty late usually and will do my best to make sure to set deadlines when I am around so that people don't have to wait.
• Stay active. At least one game related post per day, preferably more. Playing Quiet or Playing Loud are bother perfectly valid styles and I'm not going to call you out on either. If you have a genuine reason for inactivity please let me know.
• I shouldn't have to include this but don't make things personal. Personal insults/threats/harassment will not be tolerated. If there is an issue PM me.
• Breaking of any rules will result in PRs being handed out or worse. You've been warned.
• I am your Mod-God. I am the law. Don't make me Mod-Kill you plz.

The moon was set full in the sky, high above the world below it. But the sky was alight with more than just the shimmer of the moon. The lights of the cop cars cast red and blue light across the sky over the city street, parked across the entrance of the alley. Despite the city lights and the headlight of the cars peering into it, the alley stood still and dark. Too dark. It was as though the light was being swallowed by the alley, as though it was a cavernous, gaping hole with no bottom in sight.

 

The young detective approached the cave, the officers by his side startled as their raised flashlights towards the alley. It's as though the light got... lost... The officers and detectives had smelled it before they emerged from their cars but now the smell was pungent... It was the worst thing they had ever smelled... It emanated from the trail of blood leading into the black alley, the smell getting more putrid with every step towards it. The blood looked.. different. When the light hit it... It disappeared into the blood as well... Like the mouth of the alley... The detective had to stop himself from gagging, but kept moving forward, into the gaping mouth of the alley... the trail of blood growing thicker, the smell stronger still... Whatever was in there... he needed to find out...

That is 14 of 15 dead, and mafia only has a 25% chance of being the last person alive. Thus town has 75% chance to live assuming we just let the mod random kill everything.

I am thinking of what his motivations might be, and I posted what I thought those motivations could be. The gambit could be something that he might be doing as a distraction .... almost like a bait and switch kind of thing.
