I said that I want him to be.  Wanting him to be, and what he actually is can be two very different things.

 

That almost makes it worse... makes it seem like you're laying the foundation for going "Ah poo! Too bad we lynched such a good asset to town! Shucks!" later on. The two posts are 20 minutes apart. In the first one, you make it seem like you don't want to vote Dap. 20 minutes later, you somehow change your mind and decided his play has pinged the most? Why not mention that he had been pinging at all in the first post?

 

This, plus the whole vote "for pressure" makes me think you're a great option for a lynch today. Either you're mafia or you're really not trying very hard to catch mafia.

 

Also yuck @ the self sacrifice self vote option again. It's not a Town thing to say. As I think I told BG shortly before he died.

 

I also agree that martyr angle is really dumb, but it's not necessarily a scumtell. Depends on the player I think. In any case, I didn't like Dap doing it, but I also didn't have the strongest of scum reads on him either. The only thing I really had was his defense of Cloud day 1, and as others have mentioned it was almost too obvious and Dap is the kind of dude that does go by the textbook in some situations. His "lynch a VT before a claimed Doc" justification is somewhat reasonable.

 

So I take it you don't want to consider any other lynch today?

And I've not really been paying attention over the weekend. I'm feeling strangely ambiguous about this game. I think it's because I'm all out in the open as Town - so have basically got a bit lazy. Sorry. Because no-one is pressuring me anymore I'm not really being interacted with and so I don't really feel involved in the game.

 

I mean - I could call Dap a Giant Blue Grapefruit at the moment and everone would say - well yes he does have a certain amount of Blueness about him. And nod and smile and stuff.

 

I'm feeling a bit left out because a lot of what I generally do involves poking people to react to me and no-one is doing that anymore

Btw, still early in my reread, but I'm def seeing more reasons why we should lynch Vam. Cloud chainsaw defended him day 1, part of the reason he first got votes on him. He also defended Panchi as well. I'm thinking the lynch today should be between Vam and Hallia. Hopefully RTE can either replace or MD Panchi for us (3 posts in 35 pages is horrendous), and Peace can take care of whoever of Vam/Hallia we don't lynch today to remove wifom. If RTE doesn't replace/MK Pank, I'm all for policy lynching her tomorrow.

Vam has been inactive completely on DM though ... I've been training him on OP Battles and he has responded every day up until recently. And he is very polite and wouldn't just vanish.

 

Maybe he doesn't have any internet access.

But then Chuckles comes on and says he is down with a Vam Lynch ... but doesn't actually vote him. Why does he want someone else to go first?

 

Especially when he was ALL about RL things sometimes getting in the way of a Game.

Okay, caught up. I see Vam has asked for a replacement.... I'm kinda thinking we should just spare RTE the trouble and lynch him anyways.

 

My reread made me see some towniness on a couple I found slightly scummy, I'll get to that in a bit. Vam on the other hand came off as uberscummy, and stopped posting. If he asked for a replacement recently.... could just be a mafioso giving up cause his team isn't doing well.
