Games being killed by inactivity

Again though, mods are not actually taking any action regarding inactivity but replacing players. Sometimes they don't even do that.

look at rule 15 in my sign up thread.  I've been tweaking it each time and I do announce in game when someone is in jeopardy.  That has gotten the ball rolling in every case so far.

The problem is people just don't play.  They sign up, and think a post every few days following along the largest train at the time is playing.

Don't even go there man, it just ends with headaches. I don't want to name drop because it'll cause drama but certain people will argue up and down that that is perfectly fine because it's "their playstyle". They use the excuse that because game mods don't say anything about their activity or take them out of the game that that means they're within acceptable activity levels. This just brings us back to mods not doing their jobs. If that changes maybe we'll start seeing an improvement in the playerbase but until mods get their act together and start policing their games like they should be this kind of...playstyle will be the norm.

I understand.  I'll drop it with this last statement:  once that type of play is gone, you'll see more vets come back to DM mafia....me included.
