Any thought as to why Wombat was mentioning you before?

 

 

 

Wombat sits within a circle of candles, eyes closed, sending his energy out to try and sense the evil presence.

 

NotBob's lynch has emboldened him and he seeks to press that advantage.

 

He shouldn't have.

 

Within the very moment that he first touches the spirit, he wishes he hadn't - it is far worse than he could have ever expected, an evil so dark that he instantly understands why no one has ever stood a chance against it.

 

These thoughts flash through his mind in an instant. In the next instant, the spirit takes hold of Wombat's heart and crushes it.

 

Wombat slumps forward, quite dead.

 

WOMBAT, TOWN, IS DEAD 

 

 

Question still stands, Kaylee.  Even more appropriate now, actually.

 

^^^ this sequence by Verb around the Wombat death is shady. However, his other questioning to people besides Kaylee seemed genuine and not just for show.

 

 

 

I think Wombat was killed for hunting inactives. Think we should continue on that trail.

Also Ape I was viewed Hour 2 iirc.

I also don't like that you made a very good point about Verbal backing off Leelou and then proceeded to vote me.

Why tip your hand if you weren't going to follow up on it?

And chalk it up to lack of interest or time but you're really playing far less aggressively than I was expecting this game, especially the longer the game goes on.

Instead of casing people all you do is whine about whining. Could be you're trying to -look- like normal annoying aggressive Ape without actually doing the legwork?

Time will tell I think.

Could be you didn't realize it started because you didn't get a PM...and then when the Possessed converted you you got a PM and now you're aware of the game and on the wrong team. Could be you're just a lurker. Could be any number of reasons. I don't care to speculate too much since the bottom line is I trust you less than people who have been active from the beginning because at least with them I can read back and analyze what they've said before and try to discern if they've been converted or not. I can't do that with you so that makes you and other non actives the most dangerous people in the game atm imo.

I've never been cloudflared so hard though in that I keep getting asked for captchas (spelling?) and Internal 500 errors. :/

I would rather scumhunt and lynch someone else besides an inactive.  Let RTE be modkilled or something like that, but wasting a potential scum-killing lynch at this point doesn't help, IMO.

 

... so this stance will make people like RTE and other inactives perfect for conversions.

 

That said, I primarily agree with your first sentiment about scum hunting. What I don't like about this day is the people that jumped in after the Wombat death scene and started pointing to people that would have had motives for shooting Wombat. Reeks like framing. Remedial stuff, so I was surprised to see it from Verbal. 

 

Also surprised to see Verbal back off Leelou, since he sold it moderately well yesterday that she was a good vote.

 

 

First, I wasn't doing that.  I was asking why Wombat called out Kaylee in a post that was all nerdy, but could have relevance as he died shortly thereafter.

 

Second, I was never full tilt on her, so no need to "back off".  I need more to be sure, but she's on my radar.

Not shady at all if you read Wombat's post about her, and then his death.  I was wondering why he called her out, and then it became something I want to know more about due to his death.  You're questioning me on relevant game details I'm asking about.....shut up and let me get an answer instead of providing Kaylee with a potential out for siding with you on this.

Very good point?  Yeah....no.  I haven't backed off.  I'm just advancing in other directions right now.
