While I disagreed yesterday that the doc should claim I think it's a good strategy today. Someone has hinted doc already (at least that is how I read it). I also want to vote Ishy but I need to re-read last days posts first. I'm sick (again *sigh*) but have to go to work. I hope I can re-read tonight.

@Ishy-your not wanting the doc to reveal bothers me, combined with the nudging of tress without voting that I brought up before. Besides scum hunting ego, is there a negative to the doc revealing that you are thinking of, because I don't see it.

 

@peace-I'd like you to reiterate your ishy case because I remember him saying that he was going to try something different this game and to expect it. Your short posts make me nervous of you because they reveal so little of what your thinking. Combined with your ishy tunneling all game and vote changing I have very little read on you.

 

@Mish-I'd like to hear your thoughts on the doc reveal question because I feel you have been a little quieter and quiet Mish makes me nervous.

AJ you're looking everywhere and keeping an open mind about who is scum which is good but you're poking the wrong things here and its what has drawn you attention.  Take it from an older player, there is nothing odd about Peaces vote at this point.  What would be the sense in him recasing?

Also, true.  The only issue is that your last statement means that if Ishy is scum you're scum with him.  I can't imagine why you would make this forward a play this late.

At this point in the game I agree that a Doc should reveal. Even if mafia should have a roleblocker (and it's a basic game so the chance is low) and kills the Doc during night, it's one confirmed townie and makes it easier for us to find the actual mafia. I had a town read on Ishy for most of the game, but his view on the Doc-thing has made me unsure of that.

@Darthe- what? Care to explain that? I'm not voting for obvious reasons that you should understand. If you and/or peace are scum then the more townies who vote with you the easier it is to get your lynch on ishy. If ishy is scum it doesn't make a difference that I'm waiting to cast my vote.

The fact that your purposely pretending to not understand that makes you seem like your trying to get as many votes onto Ishy's train as quickly as possible so your scum buddies can jump on and finish the game. You're not going to coerce me into a vote with such an obvious ploy. I still state my intent to vote ishy based on the doc thing but you making such statements makes it extra hard to ignore you.

If he was so sure of Ishy as he claims to be, he wouldn't be unvoting and voting other players in such a short span without ANY reasoning. 

 

 

I hardly think that was rolefishing, I asked him directly. My reason being is that at this point in the game we need a confirmed townie. I asked him directly because I don't want to waste this day casing him when we haven't landed any mafia yet. We're down to 8 players and in my train of thought there is likely 2 or 3 mafia. If we lynch a townie today and then another NK, that would make it 3/3. Game over, correct? Given that there are 3 scummers, of course, but we don't have any confirmation either way when it comes to that.

 

I agree that the Doc should claim.

 

So you're voting me over a difference of opinion? Yes, AJ is probably correct in that if we lynch a Townie and scum gets a successful NK, it's probably game over. But you're also discounting the fact that while we've hit nothing but Townies till now, we've also seriously hampered scum's ability to hide anymore. There's simply too few of us left for them to be able to blend in any longer.

Now maybe you feel that you need a confirmed Townie to mark off of your list, fine, that's your opinion. But that tells me that you don't feel confident enough in your abilities to scumhunt. My opinion is that I am. Difference of opinion. Do what you like with your vote. As for me, I don't intend to screw up in a LYLO situation.

 

I understand your side of the argument, you are basically saying that there are few enough of us remaining to effectively lynch the mafias, but I think that the chances would be higher if the Doc just claimed. And the chances of the Doc saving a random player from a NK is quite low.

Peace, correction: I'm aggresive and antagonist as town in games that I feel sure and confident about. Games like this, that I don't manage to quite get a feel of, or like your Hangar 18 game, I'm more quiet.

 

And I haven't been lurking; I've been busy, sick, lost DM reply boxes, busy. And I've let other mafia games take most of the little attention and energy I have. I'm not proud of how inactive I've been, far from it. But I haven't been lurking on purpose.

 

Also, using my meta as basis is for me being non-town quite BS, since the game TG refers to, I was mafia and quite loudmouthed. It all depends on how confident I feel in a game, regardless of alignement.

I am amazed at how you still attempt to push everything as some hidden mafia agenda from myself.  You know, if you woke up a bit you could actually be useful.

 

With two votes on Ishy the mafia don't need anyone else to jump on.  One of Peace, Ishy, or myself is mafia or they will end the game the instant all three can be on simultaneously.

 

Simple as that.  And since I know that I am not mafia and I have a wonderful read on Peace this game, I can assume that Ishy is mafia.

 

Unless they gang up on him.

For a few reasons..none very good.

 

First..I'm drunk and Ish deserves all drunk votes.

 

Next, he's way outside his nochalant meta.  Which means he's scum.

 

lastly...I'm drunk...but did I say that already?  No really he's doing the leading the game thing with his bogus questions.  Ishy doesn't do this.

Just for the benefit of those that haven't voted yet, this is Peace's "case" on me that he doesn't feel the need to reiterate. I wonder why that is?

I don't know... It was scummy how he has been pushing that Tress lynch, but in the end everyone jumped on the bandwagon. He also linked Tina and Tress together, while I agreed with the things he said about Tina, I wasn't sure about Tress. Didn't he mention on Day 1 that linking players together is scummy? The thing that makes me hesitate to vote for him is the speed of his train, and how Peace provides almost no reasoning for his vote.

I already did. Seems as if the only other case consists of a disagreement about whether the Doc should claim or not. I stated my opinion on the matter, not going to change it just because I'm about to be lynched. I stand by what I said.
