Okay, so after yesterday's events... this is my take on the game.

Time - Her first post gave me a WTF moment. Page 2 and she checks in by saying she can't remember if she signed in or not? Probably nothing other than ill attention. Her vote was the hammer on Tiink, although that case was a bit better than her others where she basically just posted a wall of quotes. Either way, need more from her.

 

Hallia - Still waiting for her reply to my last question. Been hanging back some, mostly just repeats other's thoughts. Probably getting coached up as well. Not too sure...

 

Right. So this is what you said about the two "newest" players besides yourself.

When you speak of Time you make no mention of coaching in this post.

Then you mention Hally. We know she is getting coached, she has a mentor, but you finish your sentence with as well (bold).

Seems like you are suggesting someone else is getting coached. Now who could that be?

You're looking too closely at my words Dap. Anyone could be getting coached in reference of players in the QT. We all come from varying degrees of experience levels.

 

Now, as to what I said I meant it strictly in terms of her game play. I already said her play reminds me of Kaylee. The fact that she has a mentor is known to everyone, so no secret there. I said she is hanging back, which makes me think she is waiting for advice before posting.

Hally is doing what's expected when you have a mentor. If she does it overly it might become scummy but for now I see her as just trying to use the mentor to her advantage

Of course I'm looking closely at your words, I'm looking closely at everyone's words. You said something that suggests that you know other people are getting coached, something that you have no right knowing if you're town. The only way people are getting coached other than kaylee is on a QT.

You accused me of talking to someone on a QT because they appeared after I posted. Now you seem to know others are getting coached and you say I'm reading into it too far.

WOT is a web of trust. Basically I think there is a bit of a link between you two. Not buddying but like two people working together to an end.

There isn't much to go on there yet but i can just sense something forming so I'm watching for it, before you get all indignant.

I already explained that the comment was just an inclusion to how she is playing, not an omission that I know of others getting coached.

Lol admittedly I find myself predisposed not to like Rand. Can't really explain why. His post last night pissed me off.

 

My comment about Hal being coached was more so to the fact that she has a mentor, but it could also be from the QT. I already stated that I see a similarity in the way she is playing to the way I have seen Kaylee play in some of the games I've watched.

 

Not sure what you mean by the WOT reference? I thought a WOT was a super long post full of quotes?

 

I don't think I'm too suspicious of Hallia just yet but she is playing VERY similarly to Kaylee, especially a Kaylee who's mafia IMO but I don't have town experiences with her I think...

This exchange between Andrej and Dap is unsettling. I see myself in Andrej in terms of getting riled up and a little too defensive, letting himself get caught up in Dap's poking. I think they are both town though and just getting under each other's skin at this point, but Andrej is the one who needs to settle down out of the two of them. Andrej is playing over-eager newbie right now who's trying to hold back but feels the need to respond to everything all the same.

 

I'm most suspicious of Turin and TG at the moment. I'm suspicious of Rand as well but I find his play is too sporadic and limited to have enough of a feeling to go on. I feel that he can as easily be scum or town, but his posts are not really helping his case. That being said, I feel like I've come to expect that from Rand but if he doesn't shape up he's on the way out.

 

Turin and TG come with a lot of experience. So what they don't do says as much as what they do. In terms of Turin, I believe his casing on peace is a weak one. Peace responded to it well and it feels like it was Turin's biggest lead really. I also don't like his comments on Dap's reply after the Night Kill. Like Mish pointed out, it's very much a a "doomed if you do, doomed if you don't"-thing", which Turin knows. He does know better than that. So why he was hung up on it at all is beyond me, especially when Dap has been a pretty solid town read thus far. 

 

In terms of TG, I feel he's been rather quiet. I feel he's usually a much stronger scum hunter in most games and I feel like he's holding back now because as a scum he doesn't need to do work for town. His lack of depth and of contribution compared to his usual playstyle is pretty suspicious.

 

I didn't like Snow's calling out to the roles, but I'm not sure how much mafia experience he has. I feel that was just a poor idea on his part, and not necessarily scum. But that he's retreated back into the shadows since is telling. 

 

I don't have much of a read on Peace, but if I had to use my gut I'd go town. Mish is playing just actively enough, but not giving us much to work with either. I'd love to hear more from WoT and Snow.

Really unsure about AJ now. D1 I just wrote him down as overeager newbie; we'd been talking a little bit before the game started up and he's been waiting VERY eagerly for a game to start, heh. Now I'm starting to wonder if a mafia team has decided to use that. It would be a brilliant move; make the newbie with the D1 pass push a lynch on D1, well later he can't be faulted too badly for it, he's still just an overeager newbie, blame is on the more experienced players who followed along, and so he can slip under the radar that way. Even better when Tiink tried to paint me scummy; they could have gotten a 2 for 1 package with one lynch. Notice how AJ defended me against Tiink. Not liking that one bit.

 

I'm torn about the NK. It could be a framejob on TG, or it could be he is mafia and they wanted to make it look like a frame job so that TG would earn town cred.

 

I'm also unsure about Hallia. She skated by for as long as she could without giving a proper though of her own, agreeing with others cases and posting fluff.

 

Otherwise I agree on what's being said about Rand. Most disturbing to me is Rand not commenting at all on the Tiink-casing going on when he turned up, instead just talking about it joke vote, it took him a very long time to acknowledge the Tiink-train. Wich is odd because it really was the only thing going on.

 

So far I have a town read on Dap and Turin, and Time, RTE, Chucles and peace I don't have enough read on either way.

Mish at the time when Tiink tried to turn the attention towards you it come off as a tell for me, especially after you had recently just posted that you'd be absent for the night. He made an argument about your meta for usually seconding other people's opinions as a way to not get your hands bloody. I pointed out that you had all but repeated exactly what I had said word for word, although in a joking manner. Then later, Tiink brought you up again for 'having gone quiet' which only reaffirmed my suspicion of him because it had already been pointed out that you'd be gone; felt like another diversion tactic. You later pointed this out when you voted for him, so obviously it stood out to you too.

okay, first things first... in mafia can my name be wheeloftime13 or Time when you're talking about me?? because every time I see WoT and it's in reference to a mafia term, I get confused...

 

 

 

Okay, so after yesterday's events... this is my take on the game.

Snow - His forgetting of Turin's ISO is strange. His read on Tiink was true, however. He is also the only person to really mention the roles thus far in the game, starting with his first post where he playfully claims to be doc. He seemed to try to dictate one of the PRs move for N1, but I don't think there was malice behind it. Leaning town.

Rand - Lesigh. Dude is irritating me. His lack of play is bothersome, as well as his choice not to vote. Over defensive. Seems very lurky or that he just isn't paying attention which doesn't sit well with me.

Peace - Keeps it short and sweet. Heckles Rand early on then turns his vote to Tiink after Tiink's obvious play to turn attention off him which looked very scummy (of Tiink) and kept it there. Town read.

Mish - Votes Tiink for obvious reasons as he was trying to turn the attention towards her. The fact he turned up town and thinks her scum is interesting. She pushes for a few votes from others, but then again, so did I. Contributing, making relevant posts, sort of aggressive. Town read initially, but keeping an eye on her.

 

i was on mobile at the time... i can't really see that well... or click on the thing that tells if you've posted... and i said that i wasn't casing anybody... i used the wall of quotes to tell my thoughts about each individual post...

 

and there's something off about TG's play.... he's not playing like he normally does...
