Well done guys, I just have one complaint, you never gave me chance to do a reread...certainly didn't expect to wake up and find a lynch already. However I will get to my reread tonight. 

 

A couple of points...does anyone not think that they lynch on Moon was very easy. I think she wanted out of the game and what better way to do it than sacrifice herself for the team, to set them up as looking town! and here she springs her trap

Kaylee and Player spring to mind for this. But I will have to re look at it all. Now people have gone on about claims that the Mod would give, if he gave Elsie, it was a pretty dumb one, or the mafia don't have them at all. Or if she wanted out she could have given that one to make herself look even more likely to be mafia. 

 

As for the silencing, looks like RTE and Darthe are more than likely telling the truth, they were silenced. My little irk on this, is that I was compulsed (for want of a better word...haha) on the third day - when there wasn't anyone silenced. The day just gone looks like Darthe was silenced (which fits with the role - alternative days), but I got the impression Ishy was complused as well. Why was no one compulsed on Day 2, if it could be done everyday? Something there doesn't seem quite right! If the silencer was given out on alternative nights, then I would imagine that the compulsion would be as well - in fact on the nights inbetween the silencer. It balances the game. i agree this is very odd. It would suggest someone is lying

 

So Ishy, can I ask...were you compulsed and if not why vote me but push for someone else, I got the impression your were compulsed!

 

Oh and I have a general question...people have mentioned it a couple of times now, what do you mean about Kae being cleansed....not heard of this before!

 

Not cleansed. Her death was cleaned up. It's a mafia role that removed the coroner report from a death

What does it matter.  The mod has a 50% GF.  Maybe the GF had a choice which power to use...GF or compulsion.  Or maybe the other forsaken have the same choices.  Doesn't help with scum hunting talking about it.

Of course if matters, because if it was odd night for the silencing and that seems to pan out, it might go that other nights are compulsion. I have just thought the person who compulses maybe able to do it everyday, if they went for the same person that Ishy 1.0 killed day 1, or they were role blocked! If it is roleblocking, then there maybe someone out there who knows who they roleblocked day one (no do't reveal - it maybe the other reason). But they would be worth looking at.

No I'm not. Have you legitimately never seen this done because its done by me in almost every game and is done by almost everyone on mafiascum. I'm not going to change for the site meta when the site meta creates issue. You can nitpick the difference between "I have this person on my town list" and "this persons townie" all you want but both say the same thing, my stance on the individual currently based on their play.

 

I haven't played with you or on mafiascum for a long time. When I did play there, nobody ever said "you're pretty much confirmed town" in response to a claim like Cloud's. I'm not nitpicking the difference between 'town list' and 'townie'. I'm quoting your words back to you, and you're trying to make it out that you didn't say them. I don't know why that is.

Why is it a bad thing to ask about his character Tress? He already revealed his role so he might as well reveal his character as well. Half done reveals dont help town. Now that we know he is Thom if he is lieing then a real Thom can step forward and say "That guy is a LLL!" And we get a scum. ((Again, I dont think he is lieing but it never hurts to be cautious.))

 

Character reveals can also catch fakeclaims, although a good mod will provide a safeclaim to avoid this.

Darthe was not the only one to think Cloud was town after his reveal.  Why spread misinformation to try and build a case?

I was wondering if Cloud's claim might be a safe claim as well. However, I don't think it is. I've seen newbie mafiosi reveal safe claims under pressure on day one (I believe I'm thinking of our esteemed mod in my game of thrones game, actually), but Cloud was under no pressure. But it's still a possibility, I admit, especially if I'm wrong about Darthe. 

 

Since my Darthe vote's not gaining any traction, I'm happy to switch to Moon.

This is an odd vote by Pandy, He goes off Darthe, because the train isn't going , and votes on someone who has Darthes vote on (but checking the VCs Darthe was on two people so that was wrong) but wither way, goes from one deadend vote to another, especially when the two trains on Lenlo and Rand are heating up, in fact doesn't even mention them. If Mafia he is trying to look town, by picking on teammates that aren't going anywhere.

As far as gameplay goes, I can't understand why there isn't one single vote on Darthe. Really amazing.

 

I tried to start a Darthe wagon. His strange reaction to Cloud and his hyper-agressive play justifies it. I'd be okay with returning to that vote. Cloud's case on Rand doesn't make any sense and, apart from all the fluff posting, I see no reason to vote for Lenlo just now.

Does he take it off Moon because someone voted for her and he is worried a real train could start. So someone else's interest in Darthe allows him to go back to him whilst also looking like he thinks Moon is mafia (which she is).

I haven't as yet placed a vote because I'm just not sure. I'd like to hear what they have to say about why they shouldn't be lynched. I'll vote to heee keep from going random, but prefer to lynch based on play.

 

Really, it's day one and there you are sitting on the fence not voting. This is quite common throughout the game. I have bolded one bit, sounds like you are wanting them to reveal. What else could they come up with. then you will say you will vote to stop it going random...why not before, that is a rubbish reason for not voting and a good excuse with when one turn town you can say "well I didn't really think it, but only did it to not get a random vote!"

Tina-I didn’t say I have no idea who I think scum is, I said
I needed to see who still alive. (To get a better feel). I also said I believe Ishy
to be cop and therefore believe those he’s cleared as town. (Esp since the
godfather has been lynched).

 

I have noticed that Time hasn’t really committed (more so
when you pointed it out). Other than that I’ll have to look to see who’s alive
and not cleared. May be day before I have a chance to do that though. I have to
get some stuff done around the house.

believe in giving people a chance to say why they shouldn’t be lynched. Never
said I wanted them to reveal. If you look at the part you bolded it says I want
to hear from them. I don’t think people should be lynched without giving them a
chance to say something. (That doesn’t mean reveal) I didn’t vote before
because as, stated and bolded by you, I wanted to hear what they had to say. If
someone acts scummy and has a train on them, then they should have the ability
to either:  1) make a case about someone
else they think is a better candidate or 2) reveal if necessary. (sometimes it’s
the only way).

 

Honestly if there’s no viewing from a cop why rush a lynch?
That was more or less what I was trying to say.

haha.. I have been in a bar in Edinburgh, when England were playing at Murryfield, I was wearing an England rugby shirt. When  we won, there were two little cheers, me and a guy at the back, but the atmosphere was fantastic and a great afternoon, with many beers, going down well!
