Holiday Loot- Bragging thread...

Ok, this is the official place to brag about your presents. I'll go first because... well, I started the thread and I'm the Eldest, so... there! :P

 

1- The best gift of all: more time with my family.

2- The 2nd best gift of all: the totally awesome friends I've got here and in my mailbox. :)

 

now, Christmas loot:

3- an iLive boombox for my iPod (which is, even now, in my kitchen, waiting on me to play with it...)

4- $100 gift card to Best Buy

5- a wrought iron table and chair set for my front porch

6- a pot for an unnamed plant (ie, I have no idea what I'm going to put in it...) that looks... I'm going to have to take a picture. As good as I am at describing stuff, I suck at this... lol

7- A quilling set from Twinny (another hobby! Luckily, I already started this one, just didn't have the tools for it! LOL) and a kick-a$$ box to store it in.

8- homemade cookies from Frenchie. *grins* Which are good, I might add...

9- a 1 gig flash drive so I can write my stories... anywhere!

let's see:

 

-$50 gift certificate from brother to Bath&Body Works, yes I love my brother. :D

-grandparents got me a stuffed bear, lotion, and a year of free AAA protection lol so I'm not stranded anymore hehe.

-parents got me a couple watches, necklace, couple sweaters with matching hat scarf and mittens, and some bath stuff.

 

-And from Staffy, even though he had forgotten it so I don't get to open it till this coming weekend I know that he got me my Aes Sedai Green Pendant, AND my Aes Sedai serpent ring!! :D

I now have charms for my charm bracelet and my butterfly won't be lonely....a snowflake and a twin dolphin..

 

EotW on audio from manny...um Tay sent me a beautful silver celtic knot brooch, *grins* Lor of course spoiled me silly...with two plants, which are still alive by the way, toys, bath stuff to pamper myself..and the most lovely star lantern..it glows!!!

 

*grins* I got a quilling kit too...expect works of art in the mail someday...a fleecy pink hoodie that says Honey and oh...*smiles* the DVD of Roger's and Hammerstien's Cinderella!!!

 

Best of all though, I got to talk to loved ones on the phone..and my nephew and his wife are having a baby in August!!! I get to be Great Auntie Twinnie!!!

I got to spend time with my family, which was wonderful, got presents even though I told everyone I didn't want anything and such. From my mom I got four angel figurines, seen here,

a new very awesome coat, horse throw, homemade horse pillow made by my step dad, lion rug, three necklaces, three pairs of earrings, a satin travel jewelry holders, a charm bracelet, a flannel coat, slippers, snowman pot holders, 12 wine glasses, and socks!! My hubby got me a sports bra, undies, socks, two pairs of shoes, a new cd rom, work out pants, champio t shirt, boxing shorts, :b necklace, and earrings. My in laws got me a bobble head angel with a place to put my daughters pic, an alternative down comforter, new flannel sheets, a blue light lifetime flashlight, Charmed Season 3 on DVD, dress socks, black socks, necklace, lots of stocking stuffers, a huge jewelry box, new silverware, a 50 dollar target card, and wrist wraps to use with Jer's new boxing gloves. I also got a bookmark from Cleo and a gift card from another DMer, a celtic protection necklace from a DMer to make my next year go better, and a scrapbook pressie from a secret santa type person. *G*

I got a Final Fantasy XII guide book, a Jim Beam sauce sampler (barbeque, hot wing, etc.), two Star Wars figures, a Gandolf on Shadowfax figure, a nice pair of jeans, a new sweatshirt and sweatpants set, a beautiful set of picture frames with David's 1st grade pic and my 1st grade pic in them (TOO CUTE!!), a 2007 Harry Potter calendar from Besolyn, a killer bookmark from Jade and Cleo, Jade also sent me a ton of great sweaters and some pants and a headset!, a great purse from Jade that I carry with me everywhere now, Lor got me a great stationary set and a bunch of other goodies, Red Eye on DVD, and finally some more baby pics of David from his Mother.

 

I got a ton of great Christmas cards too from all over. :D Nobody wanted to be my Secret Santa this year, but that's okay maybe next year. ;)

Hey, Lor, did you say "baby presents"? What have you not told us?

 

I got a new Rowenta iron and some new earrings(from my not-mother-in-law), A $20 (from my not-Grand-M-I-L), 3 entrees (from my ex-hub - he's a great cook and I was missing this stuff), and the $250 Chatelaine book I keep not being able to buy (from the Love Of My Life.)

 

Now all I need is Whats-his-name to get better and take me to dinner.

 

Oh, my department all got lay-off notice on Wednesday. Feb. 2 is our last day. Neat, huh?

I mainly got some gift cards, an outfit and money from my mom and a new camera since our other one got destroyed in the Bahamas (which is really for Tom and I). We really don't buy each other any presents... just for the kids. You guys all really made out... hehe.

 

Ohh and of course all my loot from Lor... <3

I got loot from Lor (including an awesome pewter bridal tray!), a dragon-figurine hourglass from my sister, and 50 bucks from my parents. Josh's family also sent us $200 in checks. 0.0

 

Oh, and Josh bought me LKH's "Mistral's Kiss" with the two $25 gift cards to B&N that we got. I gave the rest to him to buy comic books with. LOL

This is my cool scrapbook kit from Ursula, which I finally got uploaded. I love it!!

 

Oh yes she tried to take it away, shouldn't suprise me, she's very green in fact. Yesterday she was babbling away on her cell phone and then she started talking about wanting a husband and such. For me, personally, the best thing about The Kin is the people. And people sometimes need a little lift. Could be my turn, soon, and I know you would be there for me.
