BTW, if any of you want a good laugh, click on the post that goes with Cosmic Panda's quote in my siggy (I think you have to click the curvy arrow on the right now with this new set-up).

Basically, the trick to this game was that we had to vote and unvote in alternating red and green colors.  The other big rule was that getting a majority didn't end the turn.  Both rules played a huge part in the demise of the otherwise flawless play of the three naughty elves' (mafia) gameplay.  A true classic game with a hilariously ridiculous ending.

*Raises his hand to ask noob questions*

- Darthe, you have a rule that says we can edit posts. I assume that this is on purpose? To make it extra hardcore or something? Does this mean that we can edit previous posts?

- This is a more general question, but what is the ratio of special roles vs vanilla in the various difficulties?

- What is the ratio of Mafia vs Town in the various difficulties?

I can't answer as well as Darthe of course. But I think the mafia ratio is the same, about 25%. But on top of that you might have 3rd parties and/or cult, or even competing mafia factions (I'm not sure what the % will be if there's two mafia factions). There are more roles in advanced game, it's not a set %, you just have to make sure to balance the roles out. I think most mods use random.org or similar to choose who gets roles.

She has it pretty well. Anti-town is roughly 20-35% in an advanced game with 25-27% being preferable.

I can't tell you what roles are in the game but can say you can expect to encounter some that are not normal.

Random.org will decide who gets what.

The ability to edit is simply me removing a limitation on the players and can be used for a host of reasons, not the least of which is that it makes things easier on me.
