If NS was a GF, and IF Peace did view him, and got back a result of town or not antitown or w/e, then his result would NOT be inaccurate. The GF's ability makes him read as town when viewed, it doesn't alter the accuracy of the cop's viewings.

In other news we are STILL talking about EP. You know what I think. I think EP is probably on telling half a truth. He's probably Jon Snow, not a problem there. His odd role hints are always WIFOM for better or worse. I don't believe he is mafia for now based on the character, but ya never know how 3rd parties can be assigned. I mean the NIght's Watch is meant to be above all, but I'm willing to let him do his thing for now.

 

What I think is that his behavior draws out the reactions from everyone. However, I think the intended consequences are backfiring as happens at least 60% of the time according to EP's own words, which means townies are frustrated and getting caught in the trap. I think mafia might be trying to stay quiet and aloof. Therefore I think LZM, wot13, Cyan and some others that typically post more but are at the bottom of the barrel are suspect.

 

Vote LZM for that reason.

Fair enough. I'm just used to them posting more in general. It'd be easy for most of a whole team to lay low on something like this.

these people stand out the most to me right now, and BG most of all. for exactly what i said; hes question towards me felt like trying to appear active while not being active, popping up at an optimum time to avoid being called out for lurking. he said it himself, scum are likely hanging back and letting us chase after each other.

Am I the only one out there who saw the exchange between Nightstrike and Peace and thought that peace's attack didn't feel right? I saw a few people bandwagon onto Night's train after that, but I thought that Night's post made sense. I mean he was rapid fire posting and it seemed like he was catching up to me, thoughts seemed a bit out of order, but it didn't seem like a scum slip to me.

 

Rather it seemed like peace homed in on it and pushed it extremely hard even saying Night was flailing, which I didn't see at all.

There was also a lot of talk about Nolder being on a Mason team with some folks. I think it shows fairly obvious he wasn't Mason with at least John. So all that mason talk is just off to me.

I already said that I was gauging a reaction from Red. I never advocated lynching inactives, I advocated lynching people who were inactive that are NORMALLY quite active, i.e. lurking. There were a whole slew of other inactive people that tend to play that day on day 1 I didn't mention. In any case, they've pretty much been replaced for the most part so my argument is a moot point anyway.

And lastly, how can you "analyze the text itself" when you aren't doing so in context? When analyzing anything Nolder is saying it definitely has a different context versus a non-confirmed player. Well I don't really know how Red wants me to respond. I poked at her a little on something and she behaved as a wild Red is want to react which felt normal to me. It pinged some people. It happens. Other than that, I haven't done a whole lot since more than half this game has taken place with my father-in-law here so my time has been more limited and I was gone Fri-Sun.

 

As for the other trains, I'm more for a Basel lynch than Ishy. Even well intentioned Vigs tend to speed along the game for scum more than hit them. They are helpful sometimes, but only when we've got clear ideas of who is probably mafia. The character is likely SK though.

 

I'm still liking Peace more though as a lynch. I think peace is purposefully mischaracterising others statements to make them sound more scummy than they are and that bothers me.

If Basel tells the truth, then even 1 night action of his would be of value. Is this bad luck on our part or is it a clever move on Basel's?

 

Even 1 Night action could also kill Doc/Cop or some other good role.

 

I highly doubt we'd be able to consolidate 13 votes on an inactive. The only criteria I'd put for lynching one of them is highly active elsewhere and not here.
