my problem with red has been her jumping around. and she did it again one minute she is voting mish then mish is third on her list. I think its john snow who wears the title of scummiest cop ever (could be wrong) so maybe red is just the scummiest doc ever. shrugs. Something about her bothers me it could just be left over bad feelings from when she was bulldogging me but she is like an itch i cant scratch. i just feel like there is something off.

This really stood out to me. More of an OMGUS. Though, of what I've reread, there hasn't been a lot from Mish. Her last post was only to follow onto my train. I know there is an un CC'd cop with a supposed finding on me, but it's wrong. When I flip as I have claimed, I hope it points you to scum.

I got a question Ed. When you fingered Tress, you said she was mafia a few times, but also said she was not town other times. Did you get a result of mafia, or non town this time? Cause if you got a result of mafia I'm pretty sure that either you were recruited, or that your investigation was tampered with somehow, because with Kaylee's claim, especially going along with Red's, I highly doubt she started out as mafia. Of course, Red could be an even night doc, and there not be an odd night doc, so Kaylee could have just jumped at the chance to get a good false claim in. But of course if she was mafia she wouldn't know whether or not an odd-night doc existed, so this would be very risky. I will say that I do see the possibility that there is no odd-night doc at all tho, considering that there are so many other protective-type roles out there being claimed.

Bolded mine- I can't figure out why Kaylee would have put that bit in. She's talking about cult here, and I just don't believe at all that Kaylee would think she could get recruited without being notified of it. This would easily tread on bastard modding since you wouldn't even know which "team" you're supposed to be trying to help. Even symps that get recruited but not given access to a QT know they are mafia.

 

Only thing I can think of is she was trying to supply some wifom in case she was lynched and flipped cult, cause then people might start worrying if they were recruited without knowing it or something.

 

By my count Kaylee is at L-1 right now, so I want to get clarification on Ed's viewing before I hammer. Kaylee, in the meantime if you get a chance you can explain the "not to my knowledge" line

That line from her suggesting she might not know whether or not she was recruited just keeps gnawing at me. Even the ellipse on the end of that is startin to look funny. Plus her personal connection to Tress can't be ignored.

 

More importantly tho, if we can verify that Ed still has his powers, we can pretty much conclude that there isn't a backup recruiter imo, since he would make such a good target for them. That's worth risking the loss of a nerfed protective role.

The way a Cop works, he submits the name of one person a night and gets a viewing on them. Mods differ in how they word the results of the viewing however. Some wouldn't specify if the target was mafia or cult or third party, they would just say anti town or not town. I was trying to get clarification on what wording Ed got back.
