I still disagree with Despo's logic, but I'm certainly not going to be blamed for voting for the cop.

The rules state pretty clearly that you may reveal roles, and the only restriction is that you can't quote your role pm.

 

Whether Kae is lying or not, it's incredibly silly to leave a vote on a claimed cop on Day 1. No matter how scummy they may seem to you, they could be telling the truth and you would have just helped in lynching a town power role, prob the most powerful role in most formats

You leaving your vote on Kae to start with after she claimed cop was suspicious already, but this pings even harder for a bit of back-pedaling. You were willing to keep a vote on a claimed cop until you started taking some heat for it. Then all of a sudden you switched when you realized that it was getting you in trouble. Panicking? Maybe. Also, your playing of the newbie card is suspicious. Scum love to hide behind the excuse of being new to the game. Vote Random.
