The claim might be odd as far as the role is rare, but it makes perfect sense to my game play. Had I not claimed that after Wombat was secure, I would have been left with awkward game play considering my first day actions. Certainly I'd rather be lynched that viewed.

 

For scum, however, I wouldn't have the most stellar voting pattern, tipping the balance on the godfather and hammering the next to last mafia. I'd wait a few days before lynching me, personally.

I suppose I'll have to weigh in on the role being rare and thus perhaps unlikely to a basic game.

 

1. Wombat was a Miller, a townie who would have shown as scum to the cop; there must be a balance for town. We already know there are five scum.

 

2. In a basic game, the unlyncher functions as a player who knows another townie. Had the cop viewed Wombat and declared him scum, it would have taken a mighty dance from me to get lynched instead, but combining my first day focus on Wombat with my coroner report of Unlyncher might have cleared Wombat. As it was Wombat died a little soon for me to be clearer. I would have made sure it was evidently Wombat from the start who'd be my unlynchee. Quite a tussle it would have been, but essentially the unlyncher/miller combo are two townies with something extra to their roles.

 

Of course it wouldn't have been so without the assurance in the first post that there are no recruiting roles or overly complex roles, my knowing Wombat wouldn't have been able to give much info then.

I'm more willing to lynch Mish or WoT mostly because of the way Nolder said that we should policy lynch GF. An easy thing to get people to agree with as we can see and unlikely to do that to a teammate and this point in the game when they're down 3 members.

No, those who isn't either on his list or confirmed town members. That's you, WoT13, Turin, Nightstrike, and Ithi. Ithi I'm quite confident is town, Turin I'm unsure of, you, Wot13 I don't really have a read on either way. Nolder wanted to look at WoT13 too, so I think that makes her town as well. I'm thinking we'll find scum in Tiinker, Night or Turin.

I cannot fully disagree but I do not think your list is dead on. I am reluctant to place a full list on here at night for fear of having them NK'd and until we lose the Dr. or someone is close to being lynched I am going to stop naming people who my read reveals as town. Considering the nature of this game my ability should be unblockable and there should be no other godfather.
