Vanilla Townie Role PM: You are [character], a vanilla townie. You win when all threats to the town are dead.

 

Mafia win condition: You win when all townies are dead, or when nothing can prevent this.

Rules:

 

 

I: Voting

 

(This is where my modding sometimes differs from other mods, so please pay special attention.)

 

During the day, one player must be lynched. Each player has one vote. They should indicate their preferred lynchee by using bold and red colours, like this: vote: Ed. I'm not fussy, though: if I can work out that you mean to vote for somebody, I'll accept it. Unvotes are not necessary. Players may not vote for a no lynch.

 

 

II: Lynching

 

Lynches will be decided by a simple majority; that is, if there are 10 people alive, it will take 6 votes to lynch somebody. Once the final vote has fallen, day ends and the dusk phase begins. In this phase, no unvotes or further votes are accepted.

 

There will be a deadline for each day. If no majority decision is reached by the end of the deadline, then a no lynch occurs.

 

 

III: Night

 

After a lynch has been decided and the game enters dusk, I will post the role and alignment of the dead player. After that, the game will enter night. As is tradition on DM, players may continue to talk at night on the game thread if they choose. Certain players will have night actions, which they should PM to me. Once I have received them, I will begin the next day phase.

 

 

IV: General Playstyle

 

This is a game, so please be civil and courteous to each other. Do not talk about this game outside of the game thread, unless you're a member of the mafia (the mafia get a cool little quicktopic hangout). I will react to infringements of these rules with warnings and modkills, at my discretion. If you have questions, please PM me.
